I avoided Sony TV cause all their products may be good but they are definitely overpriced and they have rude customer care . Similar experience here. The service guys at Sony are assholes. I gave my headset for repair because one side of it was not working, there was a tear on the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this cushion and they said that they couldn’t replace it if it was torn. I said I used it and tear and wear might happen but the headphones problem is the one side of not functioning, they stood their ground saying if it was in proper condition they would have replaced it. I never understood that logic, later i understood that they repair the broken ones and are in good condition and sell them off as used seconds and make money from them!
Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt: get your shirt now
Yes, Indian Service guys be it Sony or other companies – most of the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this time try their best to make your experience the worst and make you feel shit. Sony has shitty service for most of their products in India. This is one of the biggest drawbacks. For example I have a ps5 and if it’s out of warranty and something is wrong then you can’t do anything. They won’t repair , they’ll say they can give discount on new one , seriously ? Yes – the same thing happened to me – They said we can give you a new pair for a discounted price of “just” 18,000. They are clueless and don’t know what it feels like to be on the other end or they simply don’t care enough. It’s pathetic. On the Flipside if it’s under warranty, they give you a new one too. This is how I went from a Fat PS3 to the Slim PS3 and then too the Super Slim PS3.
When I bought the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this Fat PS3, I got it with 3 years extended warranty through Croma (I don’t think they give these anymore). It failed sometime in the 3rd year so it was replaced with the Slim PS3 under warranty, and which was eventually replaced with the Super Slim when the Slim gave up in under an year. But they are saying that “as we found water in them – your product is out of warranty and we won’t replace it without the money” – I mentioned above. It’s been 3 months and 1 week exactly since I bought them. So, they are under warranty for another 9 months. But – according to those assholes not anymore. If I were in your position and had read about the warranty terms regarding moisture, I would have kept them in sunlight for at least 5 days. I read the warranty terms and it’s not related to moisture. It’s related to “water ingress” – that’s different from moisture (which is a product defect).
Buy this Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt
And regarding keeping them in sunlight – I didn’t even know what was the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this problem with them. I thought the product was defective. Those service reps didn’t even have a simple logical sense that if someone would “pour” water in their brand new ridiculously expensive headphones – wouldn’t they make sure to hide it by keeping them in sunlight in the first place??? Even if I would’ve known it’s moisture then again I am not sure how is that my problem if the product has a shitty ventilation and can capture moisture so easily. It’s ridiculous and unfortunately hilarious at the same time – that’s how pathetic Indian service centres are. No the point is that even if the Headphones got water because of moisture only and not because you put it near water, those repair guys are crooks and they will just blame the water on you even if that isn’t true. So just to rub it in their faces dry it up and then go to the repair centre ( a different one this time) and tell them to fix it. Let’s see what excuses they make up now.
This is a valuable lesson not only for OP but for everyone as that’s how Insurance companies act especially in India. Yes, I am thinking of doing that – but as I said earlier as well – the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this service sheet is already generated for my headphones and they have updated their database as well. So, I am skeptical about that – but let’s see if it’s worth a shot. My grandfather ran a Sony Authorised service center for almost 4 decades. My uncle started another one too and ran it for nearly 3 decades. Since the early 2000’s they were extremely frustated about the way the Indian management at Sony were destroying the customer care quality and forcing them to deny repairs by not providing spare parts. Quality of Sony products had fallen down too and this meant huge backlog for servicing/repairs. Eventually the payments for in warranty repairs was also reduced to the point that they both were forced to close down. Now the only service centers that are still active are run by greedy scum who lack any sort of motive to care for customers.
Eventually the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this payments for in warranty repairs was also reduced to the point that they both were forced to close down. Now the only service centers that are still active are run by greedy scum who lack any sort of motive to care for customers. OP please do this. I had a battery defect in my redmi mobile and one showroom in bangalore said that my battery warranty had expired and I’ll have to pay 2k for replacement. 2 months later, I went to another service centre in Hyderabad and they repaired it for free. (My phone was still under warranty, but the battery warranty had expired, they opened my phone and said it wasn’t a faulty battery but faulty wiring near the battery) Not yet. I got the headphones from these idiots today only. I am thinking of going to another service centre as well but I am afraid they’ll say the same things as now the service sheet is already generated for my headphones and they have put “Out of Warranty” in it. Dude go to a better service centre in your city if possible. I have the wcf-500 I had battery issues a week after my warranty expired after using the earphones for more than a year and they were still kind enough to give me a replacement with a new one.
I think service sheets are centre specific, not shared across centres. You can try a different frachisee; check that is has a different gst number. They may not have a central crm. Went through a similar situation with realme buds 3 pros, they started failing after 2 months and I kept going to the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this service centre but they kept denying replacement. Eventually got sick of their shitty product( it kept giving me headaches and one side entirely stopped working) and decided to break it in their stupid repair center before upgrading to new earphones. Those mfs really tested the limits of my patience for a good 6 months. Also it was even more draining because I had saved up for the damn thing thinking it would last atleast 2 years. All that for nothing.
Sorry for you. I have now understood that there’s point in relying on the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this shitty service reps and it’s not worth the stress. I just hope I get at least a reply from Sony so that I can put my point to someone who might listen and do something. I still remember that I wanted to buy XM4 with my first salary. But somehow backed out when I got salary as I felt it’s too much to afford. Try registering your complaint in national consumer grievance helpline, they do actively help in these issues but at the end it depends on the company. But worth trying. 20k is no small amount and cases like these are worth for a consumer court case , only if we could afford the time. Senheiser is the best when it comes to warranty replacement, they are honest not like Sony trying to find reasons Why would you wear such expensive headsets to the gym? I’m not saying sweat went inside the ear cups, but the probability of damaging them in a gym is so high.. I’ve lost perfectly well working smartwatches due to excessive sweat impacting their functioning.
It shouldn’t happen though, I’ve been using 1st gen Bose qc35s since they came out and they’re still good as new with some earcup replacements Idk but I would expect smartwatches to be sweat resistant. I wear mine while running and going to the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this gym… it’s meant to track my activities and built for it Same same. I had a watch 4, played table tennis quite vigorously during summer of 2023. The watch worked fine until one day it just died randomly. It’s rated to survive in the pool upto a certain depth, which I’ve tested on some occasions. But I wouldn’t blame it, the thing was genuinely abused. I never wore them to the gym (I think you’re confused where I mentioned gym – what I meant was I never took them to the gym in the first place) or any place outside where they might capture any type of precipitation. I mostly used them for meetings (because of the NC), music, and gaming. Just these three things. Nothing less nothing more.
I already knew that they couldn’t handle sweat. Also, now I understand I made a big mistake in buying them even after reading this on their specs and reviews. That’s totally my fault that I bought them in the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this first place. Also, I used them in December, January, and the first half of Feb (so winter which implies minimal sweat). So, it doesn’t make any point in making such an expensive product with pathetic build quality. You mentioned water was dripping when they squeezed the ear cup. Where is the moisture coming from? I get there’s a defect in the sense that the headset isn’t sealed, but it can’t be making moisture on its own.. From the humid air, I guess? – three months is enough time to retain some droplets. Also, I have explained this in another comment as well. There’s a spongy cushion/foam just beneath the earpads. The earpads were dry with a hint of moisture or sweat (which is again very unlikely as I explained above) on the sides which are covered by the plastic body.
Very similar experience but with Samsung. Had a stupidly long email exchange, no help. Was about a month ago, never will buy anything from them again. Seems like same with Sony Our customer service and hospitality is a reflection of what we’re willing to accept. They get away with it because they know there’s no actual risk in it. Spot On. Especially the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this older uncles/service people (basically the owners) know that this generation is a bit sophisticated in dealing with these people and their shitty behavior and rather than fighting or creating a scene in public just complain online like me 🙁 and they don’t see “online” as a “threat” or to be more subtle a risk. Sony did the same with my XM4. my usb c stopped working, they quoted 17k to fix that. i went to a local repair place and got it fixed for 1.2k.
I think a very few service centres of theirs are good and competent, my Sony wf 1000XM4s had a battery issue, I went to a service centre in lajpat nagar delhi, they gave me a new pair of replacement buds in a day (just a few weeks before warranty ended luckily). I think this is the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this same situation with a lot of companies with expensive and niche products, only a handful of service centres across the country that are competent enough to help you. Hi, is the Lajpat Nagar service center really good? Can I try going there and see if they might help? and also will the service sheet that is already generated by these guys here affect the warranty now? I didn’t face any issues with them, they didn’t ask much, the battery issue in xm4s was a common problem then, so they might have already worked on similar cases, visit them once I guess. Idk about if it will affect the warranty though, it shouldn’t technically. It’s called technocare solutions pvt ltd. Had an occasional issue with their bluetooth neckband. Went and demonstrated the problem to the service center in kormangala. They denied replacement as it was a software issue and hardware was occasionally working.
This is worse than mine. For mine, they have an excuse – but in your case – this is not even an excuse – software or hardware – isn’t it their fault anyway?? I had a skullcandy crusher wireless and God was that thing awesome, used them for more than 4 years and even got free ear cushion Replacement from the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this service center ( which was 10 mins away from my house) but the thing is there were only a total of like 5 service centre in the country and after 4 years of use one of my sister’s fat ass friend sat on it and broke the housing it still worked perfectly but the fit wasn’t there and at this point skullcandy decided to close the service centres for whatever reasons I tried to contact them but found out I would have to send my headphones to Delhi so I just went and bought sony wh900n headphones
Now these are good headphones but the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this ear cushion went bad within 6 months compared to my skullcandy which lasted over a year so I went to the service center which was like an hour or 2 away from my home only to be told that the company is not importing ear cushion for my model of headphones. I was so fucking disappointed and I couldn’t find any other alternative on amazon at the time, called local shops to get them but was told they would cost 3k which is insane but luckily for me after hours of searching I found a website in infia that sells cushion and almost anything for any companies headphones at reasonable rates crysendi check the site out they have almost every cushion for headphones of any company.
I’m sorry about what you had to go through. Congrats on your job offer though. People buy their dream stuff after getting the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this first month’s salary but it didn’t have to go this way. Regarding customer service I too have an interesting story. A few days ago my Dell laptop got BSOD after manually updating to restart. I tried self repair options and even windows recovery yet nothing worked. Then called the customer service and they explained to me step by step and even asked me to mail what’s shown on the screen. Carefully judging they gave me the only available option: backup my data and reinstall windows OS. That’s what I did in my past 2 days with their help (I had both the steps covered in my 3 yrs warranty) and it got fixed.
Every person on the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this other end giving customer support should be skilled and patient. That’s how you solve things. Actually, I was in talks with customer support through the Sony helpline for 2 days and every time they gave me the same troubleshooting steps that I had already tried from the Sony site itself – I was as patient as one could be. It was of no help anyways and after two days they recommended me to go to the nearest service center. Then the service center was just a whole other world. Lack of any consideration or sense for either customer or service in them. I don’t know what goes into their mind and I don’t think I’ll ever want to deal with this anytime soon in the future again. Not worth the stress. Simply put you shouldn’t depend on companies that have poor customer service. I’m using Boat products for my accessories and Dell for my PC. They have fantastic customer support. It’s the reason why I chose them over expensive “brands” like Sony/Apple. Buying with a service hell like MacBook isn’t worth the price.
Please don’t say this. I have a MacBook as well 🙁 and I hope it keeps working – I don’t want to go through the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this same stress as the Sony one. And yes you are right – I am never again going to buy expensive stuff. Life always teaches you the important lessons the hard way. I never got a chance to own expensive gadgets in my childhood – the job gave me some leeway to be a bit liberal with my spending (not too much though – I am a very conscious consumer) – and therefore I decided to buy these electronic gadgets for the heck of it and just to enjoy life a little bit. It proved to be the opposite for me. Introduced more stress instead. I am gearing back to my minimal lifestyle from this point again for the foreseeable future. Happy three months of “enjoying life” though. Consumer court. You can start by registering a complaint online and escalate it in a court if not solved. If you take it to court and get a favourable order you probably will get extra compensation and legal expenses covered from Sony
During the Eternal treasures in heaven where moths and vermin do not destroy shirt in other words I will buy this whole PS5 shortage times, a large section of the retailers were selling PS5 bundles, if you want to buy one for 49,990 you had to pay an extra 30k and buy other products and if you wanted the disc edition then it was an extra 35k worth products. If you don’t, they won’t sell it to you. Sony India was made aware of this and they openly encouraged their retailers to force their customers to buy extra goods if they wanted a PS5. This extra goods could not be anything related to a PS5 like games, controllers or ps plus money. It had to be something like a TV or a headset or some other product Not just Sony India….. Sony in general is pretty bad nowadays. Has been for quite some time now. Lesson to be learnt: never be a Sony fanboy. NEVER. Bro I’m really sorry ….but this is the Sony story pretty much everywhere (atleast USA UK and Germany) ……..it doesn’t work…..they open it to show water…..u throw in ridiculous amount of money or case closed.
