Just came across on twitter about racism towards Indian person by Luftahansa… It’s getting very common nowadays Had similar experiences with Air France and Lufthansa – while traveling business class no less. Some of the ERIK JONES American professional stock car racing driver T-Shirt it is in the first place but staff seemed visibly upset at having to serve. I took their names and wrote letters to both CEOs. Who knows what action, if any, was taken. Never heard from either company. Fuck ’em. This is like the 5th post in the past few months about Lufthansa and frankfurt to Delhi route. WTF is wrong with the airline and that airport!! This isn’t the first time , the last time we booked an elderly couple was spoken very badly by a crew and they didn’t know English so we helped them but within seconds I saw another couple speaking Spanish and being treated so well Just becoz aunty was wearing a saree and they were old and definitely a bit anxious Lufthansa has a bias towards Indians , either they think too low about or what I’m not sure but it’s definitely not that we are flying for free. I hope you had some proof to make an official compliant but nevertheless you could try contacting their department manager or someone in charge and ask them or try taking some action If it was opposite and some American or European they would act completely different I am sure And don’t take it personally or question your identity from my experiences they act this way out of jealousy or just plain bias , but I’m glad you tried to question them and didn’t just agree

I was off-boarded from a Lufthansa group flight from NYC to Zurich for wearing a plaster cast because of an injury and felt clear racism against me from the ERIK JONES American professional stock car racing driver T-Shirt it is in the first place but Airline Crew. After off-boarding, they were not much helpful either and when I talked to authorities in NYC airport, they said that’s discrimination and Lufthansa should be sued for it. Only when I mentioned to Lufthansa that I would talk with a lawyer, they emailed me some lawyer bullshit and said they would refund me the money which they did only after numerous emails to them after 2 months. I had to book another emergency flight with Air India on that day which was expensive and they had no issues with the injury I had. I mean I don’t want to generalize but I’ve been through kind of same behavior from European airlines and they kind of hate Indians !! My cousin had a similar experience stuck at the airport with Lufthansa. She was traveling solo but helped out an elderly Indian couple who couldn’t speak English. The staff was rude. I vowed to never take Lufthansa. I’d rather pay extra and take a different airline. I’ve never flown Lufthansa, but I witnessed subtle racism while flying British Airways. The air hostess was very obliging with all the whites but would not stop scowling at Indians. I even saw her roll her eyes and throw a piece of bread at a man while serving his food. Are you even sure it was racism? Airplane staff can be rude to anyone especially if they are overworked. Plus shit could happen on flights, learn that and expect some of it. I think people coming from warmer countries to Europe and North America could learn that White people can be abrupt and to the point sometimes and that’s not necessarily because they are racist.
