I agree with you OP. Knowing that adults are almost entirely responsible for all kids on the Erasure Chorus Logo shirt it is in the first place but planet, the next generation that depend entirely on their parents to survive. And we know that these same adults are completely winging it and have no idea what the hell is going on. My biggest surprise is how so many adults are happy being ignorant and how many people are actually just stupid. I don’t want to come across as r/iamverysmart because I know I am middling to below average in intelligence, but I still have curiosity and a willingness to learn new things. It seems many adults are just stuck in their ways, unwilling to understand new perspectives and are either very biased or overly emotional or both. I don’t care if someone is dumb or slow to understand things if they show a willingness to learn. I fucking hate arrogance and wilful ignorance and it seems 90% of adults are like that. Wilfully ignorant and relishing in it.

many people carry unresolved trauma which is why they often revert to behaving like the Erasure Chorus Logo shirt it is in the first place but younger version of themselves Same as you really. As a kid teachers were this untouchable upper class, same as royalty or celebrity. Now I recognise that people are just people doing their jobs. I don’t care if you’re royalty, if I meet you in a pub I’ll converse with a human equal. Do you bloat after meals? Crave carbs? Have heartburn/indigestion? Digestion/gallbladder problems? What’s your alcohol consumption like? Maybe not today. Or tomorrow. Or even 50 years time. But one day. You will die. Will it be related to these symptoms? You will never know. Ok, yes on the maybe-pre-diabetes thing, but can I also suggest, anxiety? I realized my brain/body sometimes uses “need to pee” as an excuse to take a moment to myself. I notice this too. I work from home but after meetings, I get so stressed because I’m an introvert and I always have to lead the meeting. this 100% true when i have been stressed for a week long straight. The bathroom became and is still my safe space to take a moment and reset. I can’t go to sleep without peeing first cause my brain gets anxious about needing to get up to pee. Lol getting comfy and almost falling asleep only to get up to pee is the worst.
