You were just saved of a horribly bad memory that would stick with you for decades, possibly even mental health issues, and management potentially causing you to doubt yourself because of an unknown system. Count your blessings, block them, move on. Their loss, your win. I work in HR and honestly this company sound like a nightmare based on their hiring process. You can’t talk to anyone in that tone and wtf? Even if you didn’t accept on time it’s not something you can’t send aga They can literally just resend the offer. I honestly don’t get what’s their deal here, they found a candidate that’s ready for hire, from an employer’s point of view it makes absolutely no sense to start the whole recruiting process from scratch again because of an offer letter accepted after deadline. “I always give 5 days to accept” okay and YOU would know that how exactly??????
