Just me, but I would NOT use this artist. This is not $750 makeup, even if she is on location… just super amateur, low quality work. Thank you, it really wasn’t a great experience. The hair went fine but the Eat Drink and Jingle Like You Mean it shirt moreover I love this make up just felt very rushed and she wasn’t really listening to my input which should have been telling enough ha. She definitely had an image in her head as to what I should look like. Yeah that ain’t it. You should be able to get what you really want from someone who really takes their time and makes you feel special and heard. It’s not about what she wants, and she’s not even a good artist to be trying to push her vision on you like that. The shadow looks muddy, and dragging the heavy liner and clumpy mascara under your eye is… not a good look. Just the blending, the colour choices, the heavy liner, the brows are harsh and patchy, I’m sure rushing didn’t help but this is amateur skill level all around. You’re really beautiful and I can tell you have really good skin, you deserve to shine on your special day. This is not shining. This is most definitely not worth $750. I’ve had makeup looks done for free at a beauty counter far better than this, and Maybelline isn’t the best of brands, least of all for a wedding day look that’s supposed to last. I would definitely find another artist with better products and techniques (probably for cheaper too). From what I can see, the blending on the eyeshadow ended up muddy and the dark liner is giving an unfortunate raccoon effect. Your face is quite pretty and deserves better technique to highlight said prettiness.

750$ dear lord, you can find fresh grads out of cosmetology and make up artistry schools with better skills for 1/4 of the Eat Drink and Jingle Like You Mean it shirt moreover I love this cost. This person did you dirty, the eyeshadow technique needs to be yeeted back to the 80’s, where I’m assuming they picked up their skills. Personally, I would go for something like the Nars orgasm line. All soft pinks and subtle gold. You have such a great face shape for the ‘fairy goddess’ ephemeral look. Soft lines and shimmer. Honestly, you could go to a beauty counter and schedule a session where they can help you achieve the look you want. And thank you for the suggestions, I was wanting softer and the Nars Orgasm line looks kind of what I had in mind. Like even provided her with examples and she clearly botched it. I don’t have much advice, but I think your mua did you a disservice with the look. You’re very pretty, but the look isn’t enhancing your features. I feel like the trial run should be the full makeup look so you can see how products and application wear throughout the day. Definitely mention which products don’t work for you and your references and just talk with them that you weren’t satisfied with the results.
