I agree, although whilst it’s reasonable to have crumpets at dinner time, one should never have crumpets for dinner. She has spent her entire life thinking of crumpets as a toast alternative for meals like beans on toast, or cheese on toast. She’ll eat poached eggs on crumpets before she’ll eat them with jam. If she thinks crumpets are a toast alternative and crumpets aren’t breakfast food does she think toast isn’t breakfast food? Ok I’m with her there. I usually only have them with butter because another topping over butter is basically a waste of butter, but add an egg yoke… Grilled cheese crumpers, sausage, scrambled egg and mushrooms is a PERFECTLY acceptable tea. (I’m Northern, dinner is at lunchtime). Toasted until crisp, topped with sprats and cheese, under the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this grill until bubbling. That is dinner time right there. My mum used to do this in the eighties, but with cheese, sliced tomato and anchovies. Sort of like a mini pizza crumpet. Crumpets freeze well though so they can be eaten well after their use by date if you just get them out the freezer as and when you want one.

However, they are a traditional tea time/evening menu item, hence the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this idea of “home in time for tea and crumpets.” Think of CS Lewis, John Masefield, and Edwardian schoolboy japery. They’re an anytime food but growing up we always had them for Sunday tea toasted on an open fire ( wonder if you can still buy toasting forks?) However, I have made crumpet pizzas and marmite and toasted cheese crumpets are also delicious – excellent for lunch. Some of my family have crumpets with jam which you could have for breakfast I guess. If you were fancy you had Mr Matey bubble bath which stripped every bit of moisture from your body, the bottle was nice though! Breakfast or with a coffee for a snack. I only have them with butter though and I toast them twice, they need to be slightly crisp, if they’re not toasted enough they’re insipid and rubbery and I hate them
I was just about to ask if anyone had done french toast crumpets (frumpets?) because I think that would be something I would enjoy. So I’ll be doing that tomorrow. Well, we never called it french toast, it’s “eggy bread” but I thought people wouldn’t know what I meant. It’s not sweet. Crumpets in my house are eaten at any time of the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this day and almost always savoury, with cheese, egg, or just salty butter. The only times they are sweetened is when I’m having them as a dessert after a meal, when strawberry jam or black treacle is used. Also, partnered with egg is a good thing. In my case, cuppy egg – soft boiled, peeled and mashed a bit in a cup with butter. Eaten with toasted crumpet, also buttered oc I generally prefer a savoury breakfast, but don’t think of a crumpet as being a savoury breakfast item. My wife has the same crumpet flavour pallette as you, but I just don’t think she ever thought she could have them for breakfast. She’s still adamant that I’m wrong, and is completely unwavering in her current crumpet world view. I love sweet stuff for breakfast, doughnuts, cereal, pop tarts…. I’m starting to see why my teeth are messed up… I’ve always thought of them as a food you can have at anytime. Primarily a breakfast food, but I’ll still have one no matter what time it is.

As long as we all agree that they must be toasted not once but twice to achieve the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this ultimate crumpet-ness I don’t care what time we’re eating them! Growing up I’d only ever eaten crumpets as a supper type thing. These days, now I am actually grown up, I eat them for breakfast too. As an adult I don’t have an open fire but I’ll have them for breakfast with scrambled eggs or any other time with cheese or butter, sometimes even plain. I’ve recently been eating them for breakfast, soaked thoroughly in egg and fried, they absorb it much better than bread and it’s honestly the best idea (for a breakfast) I ever had. Toasted crumpets, slathered in butter and a thin smear of Marmite are a comfort food for anytime of the day/night. You fucksticks want to hear something that’ll turn your dicks upside down? I’m 34, British, and I’ve never had a crumpet. None of my family ate them when I was growing up so they just kind of passed me by. I’m sure I’d like them but I never think to buy them. Breakfast, lunch and snack! Favourites are with honey, marmite or cheese spread after melting butter over it first.
Snacky snacks. My gran used to serve them with afternoon tea (oh her teas were epic) so for me they are a mid afternoon snack with butter and a cup of tea. (Preferably with a tonne of cakes and biscuits but perfectly acceptable by themselves) Any time, any (WITHIN REASON) topping, just like pancakes. Today I cut a load into cubes and tossed them in a lake of butter and air fried them and holy moly what a snack. A breakfast food that you can choose to eat at any time. My preference is jam and butter. Had some last weekend and enjoyed so much had a day solely eating crumpets. They can be eaten any time. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and I love them with loads of butter and cheese on at the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this moment Breakfast , but can be a snack , I’ve not really ever had them exclusively for dinner ? But I’ve definitely had them for dessert Kind of like asking are pancakes a breakfast food or dessert? Well it depends on the country… why does it matter? XD it doesn’t matter, but it’s like when you find out someone wipes their ass standing up when you do it sitting down and you want to find out who’s “more” right. I usually enjoy a bit of crumpet on a Friday evening after a few pints. I prefer them sweet. My mate has had a few unsavoury ones in the past.
Crumpets are perfectly possible as a breakfast food, but they’re a kind of bread and as such good as a base for sweet or savoury. Marmite is as good as marmalade on a crumpet. I’ve had crumpets with peanut butter and a glass of milk with an orange every day for breakfast the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this last 3 days? It’s one of those times where despite being wrong your wife is right because in any marriage it’s just easier that way I’ve never thought about having them for breakfast, but I like the idea. Crumpets are usually for Sunday tea or for a snack straight after work. Mainly breakfast but sometimes as an afternoon snack. I once had a mushrooms on crumpet type thing as a starter in a restaurant, and despite loving both mushrooms and crumpets, it was terrible. I’ve always thought of them as a breakfast food although I’d eat them anytime. The earliest recipes categorise them as a tea time snack so I guess that’s the correct answer even if it seems strange to me. Slightly over toasted so you get crispy edges then covered in so much butter that it drips down your arm is the only way to have them for me. Goddammit I love crumpets so much. I eat them as more of a snack too (with cheese done in the air fryer ) or sometimes instead of toast with soup, but that’s just because I am a diehard porridge for breakfast person
Crumpets were a Sunday tea treat when I was a child but now I’ve gone off the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this rails and eat them any time. A friend gave me cheese on crumpet not long after I left home and that was a revelation. Butter, beans and cheese-any combination of those 3, nothing else. I’ve only ever had them for breakfast, with butter and jam. I’ve seen suggestions online for having them as a savoury snack/meal but it just doesn’t sit right with my brain! They are an anytime goes meal. I generally eat them for breakfast or lunch (I like cheese on mine) but you can also have them as a fair dinner, just with baked beans and cheese. I wouldn’t label them, if you fancy them, eat them I have eaten countless crumpets in my lifetime. But never for breakfast. I don’t even know anyone that has eaten them for breakfast!
They are for teatime, and for reference teatime for me is a non cooked meal late afternoon/early evening probably at the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this weekend. I happily eat a couple for dinner if I fancy something light. Nearly bought some the other day to do that but had stuff to finish in the fridge I love a crumpet any time of day I have tried them with a poached egg on top. It’s OK, but I think I really prefer poached eggs on toast. Preferably with a bit of smoked bacon… The crumpet orthodoxy in our house growing up was any time of day, butter or cheese only. I can see perhaps marmalade but both strawberry jam / beans feel very wrong. Feel like I don’t have much of a leg to stand on to criticise you both though as I also grew up eating only jam on staffs oatcakes – which as an adult having actually lived in staffordshire for a bit, now sounds frankly like a sin. Always think it’s weird we’ve classified certain foods as “for breakfast” or “for Sunday” or “for Xmas” or anything like that, let alone that we still stick with it when so much is almost constantly available. You have them when you want them but yes, crumpets butter and marmite are either a breakfast food or a late night shall we put some crumpets on food Free yourselves from the chains of baked goods oppression and embrace the deliciousness and freedom it brings
The best way to crumpet is toast it, make a slit in the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this middle, insert a square of dairy milk and squish so that the melted chocolate seeps through the holes. This should be enjoyed whenever you want it Your wife is clearly an axe murderer; I can only hope you realised as you posted this, op, and are currently on your way to a safe house, and not currently being dismembered and stuffed into a suitcase. They’re in the Hairy Bikers recipe books as a breakfast food so they’re definitely appropriate for breakfast, and any other time of day I’m all for eating crumpets at any time of day or night but as part of a dinner with beans is a step too far and I’d be wondering what other fundamental things i hadn’t learned yet.
They’re a breakfast item …they are in the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this morning goods section of every supermarket for that reason …alongside pancakes, croissants etc It’s literally my favourite breakfast, beating out marmite on toast and a fry up. So I’d say it’s a breakfast food. Putting aside that crumpets are an any-time food, I’m nonplussed at the implication that breakfast can’t be savoury. Hmm for me always been a lunch thing and occasional tea time treat. Always sweet (jam) or just buttery spread. Lately I have had them for breakfast. Wouldn’t have them for dinner unless it was I can’t be arsed to cook or I am not really hungry situation. Never savoury though and as for with beans nooooooooooooooo I eat crumpets as either a breakfast thing with bacon eggs, beans etc or as a snack with just butter/melted cheese. Breakfast or tea (between dinner and supper) absolutely. Certainly not with beans – I can’t even imagine that…
You stated the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this defendant was hiding behind the curtains before he grabbed your privates? Yes your honor, may you please identify the defendant if he is here in court today. There your honor , under the swarm of flies that bankrupt oompa loompa right there In his testimony he said he keeps $400M cash on hand, so this should be no problem for a man worth several billion, right? Why do I get the feeling that if they do seize his properties and do an honest appraisal of them, their actual value is going to be even lower than Trump himself claims on his taxes? If there’s one thing real residents of palm beach couldn’t stand was trump’s outrageous flaunting of his supposedly billionaire status, and his failure to ever support there charitable causes, they have always considered him trash and would love to see him gone .
Unfortunately it would be more complicated to seize property across state lines but with the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this government behind it, it can be done. Trump has shown that he regularly inflated his property values for favorable interest rates from banks. He’s done the same for Mar a Lago on multiple occasions Because he’s a cheapskate who skimps on everything to pay the least amount possible. He doesn’t even maintain his golf resort very well and he spends most of his free time there. I have a few Taylor Swift gifs saved for when I snag the truly loyal Trumpists in my comments. They get real mad. I got banned from an obvious right leaning sub called like “nuetralswift” or some BS. They got one post to the front page, but I haven’t seen them since. So yeah to your point it did die down pretty quick. They probably figured out pissing off one of the most famous and beloved people on the planet was probably not a good idea. It’s all trumped (see what did there) numbers to inflate his ego/networth. Banks that let him jive up his own numbers the way he did she get the same fine Please, please, PLEASE use them to house undocumented immigrants. And convert any space in those buildings that he used personally as office space or for residency into mosques. It’s still amazing to me that these MAGAs are boycotting New York because Trump committed fraud and was held accountable for the first time in his life.
It doesn’t amaze me. We’ve known for a while now these people are bottom of the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this barrel in terms of intelligence Sell his assets, use the revenue to pay his debts, and keep all the rest. If they government can evict elderly ladies for failure to pay 1800 in taxes, then sell the house and keep the excess profit from the sale, the same should be done to Trump. Maybe afterward, the corrupt law will be changed. Is being a negative billionaire a thing? I’m sure the amount of money he owes to other people and banks ranks in the billions. Exactly how the Deep State secret plan was drawn up. Not sure why the MAGA patriots even try, they lose every time. The truckers found out. Hail Satan. He’s had half billion dollars worth of fines that he can’t just not pay. Hes about to go on trial for a crime he’s already been found guilty of, and his lawyer did 3 years for. How long will you people still be saying this dumb shit? He’s clearly facing consequences right now. I mean you’re reading about them… I am fully, fully prepared to eat my own words and say how wrong I am…when the fine gets paid, when he goes to prison…when anything actually happens Sadly there are millions of people in line who’d fork this money over to be endebted to a potiential presidential. Billionaires would be fine if the average person was a millionaire (if no Republican ever won from Eisenhower onwards it would be that way)
Each human being, from the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this moment of conception, is made in the image of God, created by Him to reflect His likeness. Once a man has a billion dollars, he doesn’t reflect God’s image. As soon as a billionaire exists, he should be frozen solid in liquid nitrogen, taken to Alabama, and get chopped into a thousand pieces. Each piece of him will then look like a frozen embryo- which does reflect the image of God- ref. LePage v. Mobile Infirmary Clinic, Inc, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations, so you could threaten to pull out of NATO. But I didn’t give you a billion dollars. Give that shit back.” America is based on free market economy. Therefore America has allowed billionaires to exist. Explain how America number one?
I hope he takes his time and kicks and screams a little more first. With the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this interest rate placed on it it increases by 87500 a day. Have a huge garage sale right on 5th avenue and set up a public bonfire so people have the option to just light that shit on fire after they buy it. …that’s what would happen to ANYONE of us, he’s a fucking deadbeat and “very proud property owner”, you can’t be fucking both Legit question here. How long does the orange scumbag have to pay this fine? And how long does he have to pay for the verdict in the Caroll-case? Donald Trump is a (very poor) millionaire and has repeatedly attempted to break off from or scam his way through deals that required him to pay anything in the ball park of 100mil. His wealth has been overinflated for decades and while he is very rich, he’s nowhere close to being a billionaire. Would you look at that, a black woman honoring the rule of law more than anyone and everyone else. Kinda makes you think about why they’re often presented as the uncivilized and unruly one’s, hmm? Please please please please please please take Trump tower and rename it Biden Tower. There will be no popcorn left on the planet!
Here’s something fun to read! The votes on Biden’s Infrastructure Bill that supports American infrastructure and created jobs. Barrasso (R-WY) Blackburn (R-Tuberville (R-AL) Young (R-IN) Now show all the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this videos of those same senators taking credit while back in their states for the bill “they” passed bringing federal money into the region Oh they’ll vote for infrastructure bills. The ones that make them money. My state overwhelmingly voted no on multiple infrastructure bills that would help EVERYONE. Then they overwhelmingly voted yes on building a new turnpike that only benefits them. They also voted to subsidize with our tax dollars a private project for some rich asshole from Nevada that would build TWO entertainment districts in my city with all the profits going to the state and the vast majority going to the rich guy. TWO OF THEM. One of them is going to built after they demolish the ONLY MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY WITHIN 50 MILES. The only thing this going to do for the people that live is create more low paying shit jobs and it will raise our rents even more. It’s a college town so I’ve been hearing this project is being done for out of state students that come here for schooling. Which is not entirely unbelievable since almost 25% of our housing here is now student housing(apartments) where you rent the room and share everything else, but for some reason we can’t do proper zoning to build more affordable single family homes and homes that are 1 or two bedrooms.
Yeah, they voted against it but you wouldn’t think so if you listen to them brag about what’s getting done in their states. Fun fact: The US highway system is the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this most economically taxing engineering undertaking in the entirety of human history. Funded entirely through the government. In that respect it’s the most communist project ever. An auto designed to be unnecessarily overbuilt due in part to government regulations, toting a sticker aggrandizing a government organization? Filthy commie 😛 Wait, which amendment of the constitution included the automobile, again? Must be in there somewhere to retain R support. Yeah, it’s like, “Why spend money on Ukraine when we could use it to feed poor people and fix infrastructure here?” Reminds me of people who argued against continuing the space program in the 70s saying we should spend that money improving people’s lives. So we ended it, and surprise surprise, nothing was spent improving people’s lives. People also didn’t realize that many of the technological breakthroughs and new inventions made during the space program HAVE improved peoples lives, especially in computing and the medical industry. The reality is that entities like Fox News or Trump use the credulity (and often sheer stupidity) of their audience to manipulate them using biased/partial information or sometimes even lies that stimulate their fear. This has always been the case, and won’t stop anytime soon.
The Indiana state legislature literally banned light rail and Tennessee banned Bus lanes that load and unload in the Eagles Swat river City Police department river city police department shirt Furthermore, I will do this center lane because one of the cities was planning to use that design. One day they’ll be shitting on public transit how it’s anti-freedom and just creates problems with “undesirable people” It’s just like the Tucker Carlson recent Russia video lol he was amazed at the public services the Soviets built while simultaneously shitting on every American government program. I mean the argument they are making in this post is a false equivalency. Any underground subway system can flood during heavy rains….they’re underground. Here’s a picture of grand central station in NYC and here’s a flooded Chinese train station. If you look at these two what conclusion would you draw?
