It’s ok as long as it’s done openly and no lines are crossed. Sounds like your friend is fine with him texting you if she gave him your number. Totally fine for you to be on alert. If you think a line is being crossed you should discuss with your friend. It sounds like to me on that specific text that you are someone his gf looks up to and hangs out with, so he wants you to watch over her. On the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this whole, you usually want to try to make whoever your SO look up to to be positive towards you. Your SO will ask them questions and highly likely ask them if the relationship should go ahead. Keeping an open line of communication in case he needs someone on his side when she goes and asks for relationship advice is smart. No definitely not weird. I’m married as well three kids and a beautiful wife. Occasionally her best friend will text me or I’ll text her. It isn’t ever inappropriate, because trust me. She knows he’s definitely texting you, especially if he’s the nice guy that everyone says he is. She’s aware of his messages or bring it up to her to make you feel more at ease because you’ll know how she feels about the situation and you won’t sit around thinking she’s going to be jealous
Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt description
Why do you think of someone that your only 11 years older then as a daughter? Strange identity for the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this relationship and added pressure. Yes my friend knows we text. We don’t text much but sometimes he needs a sounding board. He doesn’t have a lot of close friends.. and he has said I’m one of the people he feels comfortable with. Your friends soon to be could be like my friend’s hubby. He knows you are close. And wants to make sure he is friendly with you and wants you in his friend group too. 11 years age difference is enough to have very different attitudes towards texting friends of lovers…I wouldn’t sweat any of it UNLESS an intent to ‘move things further’ is detected. Why take action on what could possibly be ‘just suspicions’.
If it doesn’t go too far(she’s hitting on you…etc), it’s just socializing. I think it’s just you that make it seem weird. It’s not the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this 1930s anymore. Men and woman are allowed to be friends. Our neighbors across the street have a rule that the wife is literally not allowed to communicate with men on her phone, the husband with woman. So I can only text the husband and my wife can only text the wife. Seems strange to me but to each their own. What seems weird for you may not be weird for them. Not weird. If you’re like me, you may have been raised with some form of “purity culture” where men and women talking to each other is frowned on outside of a marriage. If the messages start crossing a line, you will know. Messaging is a way of life for the younger generations, it’s different for them.
Let buy this Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt
Young people are more engaging with all of their partners friends usually to grow their social group but to also build better relationships with their own partners To me, it seems over-strict to think any texting could be problematic. It’s not that he texts, it’s what he texts. And his texts aren’t inappropriate. He’s trying to connect with you because you’re important to his partner. My entire friend group exists on that kind of thoughtful effort. If he’s not saying anything inappropriate he may just like you as a friend, and if he’s the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this same age as your friend possibly an older sister figure. He may also be looking out for his fiancée in some way, which is okay as long as it doesn’t become controlling. Yes, you are just old. Lol! But in all seriousness, you said she was like a daughter to you so it would make sense that her fiancé would want to be close to you as well. Which I believe is the reason he is texting you.
I think he knows you’re important in her life and he’s trying to respect that by putting effort into forming a bond. If it’s not creepy he may just need a friend and know you’re safe. I am glad people don’t find it weird. As I am a spouse texter. I keep it far away from any inappropriate stuff and just genuinely like talking to people. My niece’s husband texted me when they were dating. I figured it was because his mom was dead and he had no close family at the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this time. He doesn’t text much now but he has more people in his life now. I’m friends with some of my friends wives. I’ve had many platonic women friends too. My partners have had many good friends of the opposite sex. So long as people are respecting appropriate boundaries, I’ve never seen anything wrong with it. I’d actually go as far to say that someone who is able to have platonic friends of the opposite sex shows a certain level of maturity and is a green flag if they are never inappropriate.
At what point are women going to grasp that just because a guy talks to you doesn’t mean he is trying to fuck you or flirt with you. 9 times out of 10 they aren’t actually being creepy and you’re actually the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this one making things awkward when it doesn’t need to be. Get over yourselves. He’s trying to build a relationship with the people who are important to the person who is important to him. I love love love when my friends text my man. And I love the friends who have husbands that I can text. Generally we do a group chat but we’re all secure enough for individual texts and fully expect it to be public record. One of my favorite girls’ husband came to all of us for help on his proposal plan.
It’s hyper critical that I have a good relationship with the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this people my wife confides in and are really close with. For the rare occurrences I do run into some of her friends that live out of state, it’s important for those times we are hanging out as a group because of how much my wife wants me to be there for all of us to also be friends and get along together. This isn’t really a red or yellow flag situation. Odds are he’s not going to cross any kind of line, this is more a generational thing from your end. Being in contact with your spouse’s friends is pretty normal, yes. It’s even more normal in the one example you gave, where he is texting you about and asking you to take care of his fiance. I get texts like this from my friend’s wife about our occasional guy’s weekends. Not weird until it gets weird. He’s trying to develop a friendship with the people his soon-to-be wife find important to her.
If nothing is weird why are you trying to make it weird? Jesus Christ sometimes it feels like we are in the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this 1920’s again based on some people’s mentality If the messages are casual, he probably sees you as part of your friend’s family and wants to get along with you. He may be trying to bond with his partner’s friend. He may be a very social person. He may think you’re a great friend to his fiancee and has heard great things about you. He may think of you as her mother figure and wants to be close with the family. It does not sound weird at all. He is texting you but not saying or suggesting anything inappropriate. If he crosses that line, it’s different but for now he is trying to be nice to you. Op considers her a daughter. That’s family. He just wants to be a part of his fiancée family. More than likely, once he meets OP’s husband. He will act the same way with him. I don’t think it’s weird at all. Like someone else said. You will know if it crosses the line.
Yeah, you really need a lip liner similar to your skin tone. Dark brown with a light nude looks great on darker skin tones, but not on lighter ones I’m seeing this after the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this black lipliner and pink lipstick reels showed up on my feed. It’s interesting to look at but not wearable. Looks like they’d be touching up all day. Dewy makeup isn’t flattering on most people, and it usually looks greasy or sweaty. A more satin finish is a more flattering intermediate. I find that the dewy look often accentuates features most folks don’t want to accentuate (such as nasolabial folds), it only really seems to look good on social media due to the abundance of filters used A counter opinion, I think matte looks awful on most people. It usually looks dry and cakey. Hard agree a natural/satin finish is best.
Strongly agree. I like the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this idea of dewy makeup, but in real life it highlights pores and texture. In high quality celeb photos it’s always the part that looks shiny where you can see the most texture. Thank you!!! As a more mature woman I’m sick of being told that I need to use super dewy makeup. It looks terrible on me and highlights every line and pore on my face. Satin finish is best. as someone with extremely oily skin, i never understood the appeal of looking dewy because i associate it with needing to wash my face. I might be falling for the dewy trap and I’m older so have some features I don’t need accentuated. Any product recs for a satin finish? Thick brows, bold brows, soap brows, etc. aren’t for everyone. Some faces look better with thinner brows (especially those with delicate features). I love a good thick brow, but I TOTALLY agree that many people look better with thinner brows and you should go with whatever suits your face best! Thank you! Yes, I love thick brows on others too. But I think they overwhelm my features so I’m trying to embrace my naturally thin brows. THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS because omg…I tried it, and well, I looked like a caveman with makeup on. It. was. that bad…. I think thick brows will really depend on the facial structure of the person, IMO. I have a strong jaw structure, and it didn’t work on me.
When I see people on tiktok trying the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this thin brow filter, I’ve never seen anyone who didn’t look better. I think thick brows are a nice fashion accessory but I don’t find it flattering on most people Completely agree OP, as a pale af human with almost no pigment in my skin I literally can’t do super pigmented blushes because one dot already makes me look like a clown. There’s definitely a market for it but I’m personally not one of them. My unpopular opinion is that dupe culture has caused the market to become so oversaturated with the same shit that I’m rarely excited by anything anymore. I can respect that having options at all price points is a great thing, but you cannot look me in the eye and tell me that elf’s 50000th CT dupe is the best thing to ever happen to the industry like 90% of social media wants you to believe. Indie brands are the only thing keeping my love for beauty alive at this point lol. I don’t think dupe culture is to blame for oversaturation, I really think that’s just the natural consequence of cosmetic products existing and developing over thousands of years.
I don’t disagree that part of the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this oversaturation is related to your point, but imo duping culture exploded it exponentially compared to before duping took off. A great example is how many products with pouf applicators released within such a short period of time over the last year because everyone is trying to release their version of the CT beauty light wands, or currently with every brand under the sun releasing the same exact squeeze tube lip balms and glossy lip stains and lip oils and dozens of other products that all of us realistically do not need 5000 versions of. It’s just reached an unsustainable level of repetitive product releases because brands are focusing now on hype marketing of whatever is currently trending on social media instead of putting their R&D into creating new and interesting releases.
This is probably very controversial, but all of the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this brushes I’ve used, whether they’re from the dollar tree or were super expensive….have performed the same. hides i will say, i finally got my hands on some “nice” brushes (rephr and zoeva) and they are so much less scratchy and shed less than my cheap morphe brushes. so even if they perform the same, i prefer the nicer feeling ones. Agree! I got some random brushes off Amazon and ill never use another kind. I will say there are some ratchet brushes out there though that shed/kinda scratchy on the face Like, sure I have some elf brushes that are really good, but they’re not the same as Japanese fude. I would absolutely notice. Like if I compare my Hakuhodo blue squirrel with elf complexion brush (similar shape)… It absolutely just would not be the same
I just… I’m just speechless lmao. I super want to chat with you and get some more insight and what you’ve actually purchased, and see how you use them. I remember some of my pro pals working with synthetics and they said they missed natural hair because of the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this lack of precision It always makes me questin and pity the quality of sex these people are having if it can be beaten by a freaking mascara. Was about to say the same thing. Clearly your partner has no idea what they’re doing if that awful mascara is better. It’s seriously one of the worst I’ve tried. One day when I was about 15 I was with my mom and a bunch of other women her age and one of them said something to the effect of “a good pedicure is better than sex!” and my mother goes “well I don’t know about that” and all the ladies tee-hee’d and I just wanted to die.
I wish this were true. I’m a pale redhead and black mascara is out of the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this question (only true brown, not black brown), and it cannot be waterproof or a tubing mascara or I risk losing lashes. There’s exactly one I’ve tried that’s about $10 and I can confidently say at this point I’ve tried all of the brown mascaras. A solid 80% of them are trash, including Better Than Sex. What’s your favorite brown mascara? That’s what I prefer too but it’s hard to find a good one, especially because I don’t love waterproof Benefit They’re Real lash primer is really good but I always seem to go back to Cover Girl Clump Crusher (in the green tube.) Overlined lips ESPECIALLY if you have full lips already. This makes no sense to me. Overlined lips don’t look good on anyone. I know some people with thin/small lips do it because they want a fuller look but it always looks bad. However people with full, plump lips…. why?! My friend had the most beautiful full lips. People get 2 cc of filler to try to get lips that look like hers. And yet, she’s constantly being told to overline her lips. That’s crazy! What for?? She’d look ridiculous if she did that.
Contouring your nose straight down if you have a round nose. It doesn’t look skinny and narrow. It just looks like you have two stripes down your nose. If you really want to contour your nose, find the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this right way to contour for your nose shape. People who are neutral or cool toned using yellow toned foundation/base products!! Girl, your chest is all pink and your face looks like you used turmeric paste as foundation!! I know that usually people’s faces and chest, hands, body, are different shades but not completely different undertones. There was a woman who did her wedding trial makeup and her chest was super cool pink toned and the base makeup on her face was the warmest/yellow tone and no one said anything. They were like yeah girl you look great. I genuinely thought maybe it’s just the way it looks on my phone. One person told her and got downvoted and called a hater.
100% agree on the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this yellow foundation. I never understand why a cool toned MUA will film a makeup routine and immediately put on a super warm toned foundation. I mean, as someone who is cool toned, I know most foundations aren’t, but find a shade that actually matches your skin or it’s going to look off. And if an MUA is doing someone’s makeup, shouldn’t they know how to make something too warm more cool or neutral? I mean they sell blue foundation mixer. It’s not a secret and it should be a technique a Pro should know. Also, isn’t it a good thing to tell someone hey, just wanted to let you know your foundation is too warm for you? That’s why people post pics and ask for advice, no? I’m in my 30’s. I should understand this by now. I’ve been matched at Ulta and Sephora lots of times, too. But usually my face ends up looking so much darker than my neck, it looks awful. I’ve been there. I started matching my foundation to my neck and then using mixers to get to get the shade just right. It took quite a bit of trial and error. I got matched back when I was 23 and I got the yellow foundation treatment even though I’m neutral/cool-ish and it was 2 shades too dark for me
This undertone thing annoys me too.. here in the Ducks 2024 Big Ten Football Conference Champions Undefeated Shirt What’s more,I will buy this UK there is a make up artist called Sali Hughes and I read something where she was advising everyone to wear golden undertone foundation because it’s a lot more flattering. Fine if you’re wearing a turtleneck but otherwise like you say it makes your face look a funny colour compared to the rest of you! (If done when you’re pink toned) I hate the overlined lip trend, rather than making your lips look larger it generally looks like you need a trip back to kindergarten to practice coloring inside the lines. That’s pretty accurate. When i was a teacher and I noticed, specifically in kindergarten, when kids get sick, they’d get this red ring around their mouths. In spanish, it’s called fuego (fire). It’s a rash/irritation/inflammation and every time I see overlined lips, that’s what comes to mind. Absolutely! And for some odd reason, every hates their cupids bow now? Like the cupids bow is so gorgeous and now you look like a clown. It’s so bad in person (and in not heavily manipulated photos).
