the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this reason i decided i don’t want kids is because i don’t wanna listen to a annoying voice 24/7 cause it would drive me insane and make me shout a lot, i already can’t handle my 6 year old cousin touching my stuff and i’m not sure how i would spend my time. I am too old to have children now at 43, and I am not father material. There is already one of me, that is too many. I do babysit my friend’s daughter, 13, aka my ‘acquired niece’ 2 or 3 times a week – I like to remind her that I am not a good example of a role model, nor a successful adult. I am not father material, at least not in the eyes of modern society – me as a father would probably look like Bill Burr in ‘Old Dads’, on a good day. Additionally, I had a couple incidents in my younger years where a partner tried to baby-trap me (which I believe should be considered a form of rape, it being a violation of consent) – therefore I now avoid indulging in doing ‘that’, and consequently will not be having any children.
Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt- About us
I have chronic illnesses that cause significant pain. I have had them for many years and eventually I felt I had to let go of my dream of having children. I didn’t want a child to have to accomodate their life around my illness, and I feel that I wouldn’t have had the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this physical and mental capacities to care for them constantly with my fluctuating symptoms. I was afraid that the child might feel abandoned and I would be an unreliable mother. I would have had to avoid many medications during pregnancy and breast-feeding. There is also a fair chance that one or several of my conditions would be passed on to my children, and the guilt of knowingly doing that to them would be tremendous. So the decision was a relief in a way, but I am still mourning. I have accepted that I might always feel some sadness and a sense of loss around it. But it does make life simpler. I spend my days mainly just resting and trying to cope with the symptoms. I do some volunteer work. I try to exercise as often as I can. Sometimes I meet up with people, go to a concert or a museum, etc. But I usually need a let-down day of rest after them. I love walks in nature, they are healing. I am unemployed at the moment and need to get my symptoms in a better balance before starting work again. My spouse supports us.
So my plans for the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this future are just to get my symptoms alleviated so that I would be able to work, travel, have more social hobbies, cultivate friendships, volunteer more, etc. More work & play essentially Honestly I just don’t think having kids would make my life better in any way – quite the opposite actually. I think you should have kids if you’re certain you want them, not by default, and I know there is nothing about kids that I would enjoy (especially everyday). I’m in university right now and I already don’t know how I’ll manage to continue all my hobbies when I start working instead of having fewer hours of class per week. I go bouldering, go to the gym, love to read and do embroidery and crochet, love to travel (long vacations but also weekend trips or even day trips for hiking) I’m too mentally ill and don’t want to pass on the gene or be a bad mother. I will try to help people in the world and help myself. And get dogs.

I have multiple medical conditions that would undoubtedly be exacerbated by pregnancy. If I were to survive the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this pregnancy, I likely would be unable to care for the kid. Even if I adopted instead, taking care of myself is a full-time job already. I still probably wouldn’t be able to care for the kid, without neglecting my own needs. I don’t want kids, and I never have. I spend my time trying to survive. I assume that if I had kids I would be doing the same just with a dependent involved. i want to be able to have loud sex with my partner whenever i want without worrying about a kid interrupting us lol. I’m not having kids for the same reason I’m not becoming an architect or a crab fisherman: Because I lack the desire to do so. I’d probably be a good dad, but there are lots of things I’d be good at that I don’t want to do. I really value my free time, my social life, my general freedom and lack of liabilities, and my peace and quiet. All of those things go away when you have kids.
I fill my time hanging out with my partner, playing with my cats, making art, watching movies, going out with friends, having dinner with my family, reading, educating myself, and doing any number of a billion other things that don’t require children. I don’t wanna be passing down my bad genetics and trauma on to my children. I grew up promising myself I won’t be like my dad but I’m just as cruel as him. I do wanna get filthy rich, so if I manage to become so I will reconsider. I’ll get to intense therapy/coaching. If it progresses and I also find a suitable partner I might. If not I wanna commit my life to visiting every city on earth. Voulenteer to help children and animals. And when I can no longer use my body due old age, I’ll rot gaming and napping in the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this yard all day.
My father only ever saw me as a hood ornament. Something to just have and tick a box. It terrified me that i would treat my child like that. Terrible genetics, unlike other people I don’t think it’s okay to force health problems onto your kids. Plenty of kids need adopting. I was also told my health problems would get worse with pregnancy. Also my family is bat shit crazy, my brother and niece are mentally unhinged, my parents always fought. Completely turned me off to a family. When I watch Bluey I cry, because I realize that’s the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this family I wanted and never had. I miss the ignorance of being a child. I had trauma and depression. After 30, and, my husband and I married in late 30s, with not much money, and, I didn’t want to start having children that late, anyway. I do anything I want. I don’t want children for the corporations to use and abuse, make them millions and give very little compensation
But to be honest, whenever someone asks me the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this question “when will you have kids” it sounds about as logical and realistic as “when will you become an F1 driver?” It has nothing to do with my financial or social situation, or even with my attitude to children. My brother has little kids, and I ADORE them! I don’t have the stamina to take care of them 24/7, but I play with them and try to be there for them. But still, my parental instinct is not triggered. I have plenty of logical reasons to not have kids from every day practical stuff to it being bad for the enviroment, but ultimately, I just FEEL it is not for me, and it doesn’t make sense to me. And I will not apologize for my vagueness. I didn’t want kids, but I was of the mindset that if I got pregnant, then I’d be the best mom that I could. A few years ago, the possibility was completely removed due to a precancerous situation being discovered. Never having to worry about being on birth control to regulate cycles or needing to carry around emergency feminine supplies has been a godsend. Now, I focus on being the fun aunt to my nephew and my friends’ kids… less stress, more fun… win/win.
I like my spare time to myself and I’m quite fond of money, both of which will suffer if I ever had kids. Only thing I don’t like is that my family name will die with me but it is what it is. A relative of mine, by now already retired, is child free. I don’t actually know if she never wanted children or if she and her husband just weren’t able to have children. They both had a job, she also learned from her mother the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this work of a seamstress. She and her hzs and had always hobbies, some together, some alone. They went quite often in holidays, still do. They had an active social life. They were involved in the lifes of their family members. Painting was a hobby of her for a while. I always loved spending time with her. She sometimes watched Bob Ross with me and showed me how to draw. She learned me how to sew. Her husband had head of departement in a company but coming from a familiy of puppeteer he also did this part-time with his wife and a magician, while she painted childrens faces on events where he did some magic tricks. Now they are already retired for a while and decided no more dogs, because they are afraid that they could come to a point in life where they maybe aren’t able to take care anymore for a dog. But still they are always busy. They still have their hobbies and are very active, she still sews. They love guests.
I won’t have children because I’m unlovable and incapable of taking care of them. I plan to work and game until I die, hopefully around 50. For now atleast, i dont want a child…. life is already so hard for MANY MANY young adults now, having a kid would mean stress and ruining his life by my inability to be a good father and lack of a job. Plus im even thinking of giving up trying to date, so much cheating happening and rushing for short term pleasure, im unsure if i have even more than 1% chance to land in a good marrige at this point, i just became an adult recently and never ever dated kissed or even held hands before lol. I dodged a redflag nuke once. Im thinking of spending my time working on stuff i like as a job and taking care of my mom whos on verge of becoming disabled. If i meet someone nice and mature then thats that 1% lucky jackpot but i wont risk rushing it. Because I like having money, and travelling, and not having to jump through hoops just to go out somewhere. I spend my time with my husband we’ve been together nearly 20 years and he’s easily my best friend. We have way more fun and way less stress than if we had sweet little money vacuums suckling at our teats for 30 years. Now we get to enjoy my sisters kids and grandkids with none of the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this responsibility.
I NEED my alone time to recover from overstimulation and burn out, and I require a lot of it being introverted and autistic. Children will take that time away from me and add to the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this overwhelm. I have trouble looking after myself, I will not trouble a child with my problems. Sometimes I get angry that I was brought into the world, it’s a shit show and it’ll only get worse, I cannot in good conscience, bring another being into this world, knowing they will have it so much harder. I also do not want to put my body through the risks and trauma of child birth. I also am not fully prepared to potentially parent more than one child (twins or more for an example), or a severely disabled child. And everyone runs that risk with a pregnancy but I don’t think people consider it seriously enough. I’ve never had the urge to have children, but if by some miracle that changes, I’d rather home a parentless child than bring another into this overcrowded world.
I don’t really like children. Children crying makes me wanna pull at my hair, scream and beg for it to stop, I don’t have tolerance for it at all. I think pregnancy and pregnant women are disgusting and embarrassing (I’m sorry!! I know it’s a terrible thing to say, but for me it’s true). It’s not tokophobia excatly, but close. On top of all that, I enjoy quiet and solitude. I’m introverted so interactions at work are exhausting for me and when I come home I don’t want to talk or deal with other people. It stresses me if my home is not organised the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this way I want it to be. Changes are also very stressing. I get anxious if something unexpected comes up and disrupts my day/plans. I like having the freedom to decide randomly I want to go somwhere and can just put my dog in the car and go. I don’t function without proper sleep. Take away my 8 hours and I become irritable short tempered useless zombie. I like having the option to come home, get under the blankets and do absolutely nothing for however long I want. I can go to festivals and stay for three, four days.
Another important reason is my financial situation is not ideal. I can take care of myself and my dog, but a child would put me in debt. As to what I do with my time. I’m not very outgoing so my hobbies are reading, crocheting, daimond painting. In the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this summer I go to occasional concert and festival with friends. I also like gardening, but don’t have that option atm. And end of life plans shouldn’t depend on children. Everyone should have a plan that doesn’t involve children. You never know how it will turn out. Maybe they won’t have time. Maybe they’ll hate you. Maybe they’ll move away for work or family. Maybe they’ll die young. Best option is to save, stay as healthy as possible, move into a care home/assisted living facility or pay for in home care, and have friends and hobbies to keep you busy and not lonely. There’s so many reasons for this. I see a lot of people saying they wouldn’t be good parents and I fit under the same boat. I can hardly take care of myself. I barely have the mental energy to be around people, let alone a child for longer than a few hours. I get bored/annoyed with things super easily. I do not want to go through the pregnancy/birthing process. I like my own space and my own things and I hate when others touch my stuff. Even my money, after having to financially support other people in my life, I want my money to just be for me and not anyone else. I haven’t had the time to do the things I want and so once I do have that stability, I don’t want it spent taking care of a child. I don’t want to regret having children and having them know that. I try to give myself that bit of hope and say “oh after I’ve done everything I want to do and after I get therapy” but I still don’t see myself being able to commit to something for so long and not lose my mind in the process. I care for children and I don’t want a child to suffer because I’m not emotionally, mentally or physically capable of taking care of them. A lot of people would call this selfishness and I honestly don’t care because the real selfishness is bringing children into this world knowing you can’t raise them the way they deserve to be.
My main reason is that I’ve inherited my father’s explosive temper and I am prone to angry outbursts, although I am 1,000,000% certain that I would never get violent with anyone or harm them its still not fair. I’ve seen the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this fear in family members eyes (mother and sister) when I’ve been angry and it’s the same fear I grew up with my whole life, hate putting that on others. People try to reassure you with things like “Once you become a parent, something inside changes.” But it didnt for my father, and I was unable to hide my outbursts from my anxious rescue dog. She would be so scared that she would pee and shake and although I knew she was like it I still was unable to keep it from her. So I could never bring another human into the world and subject them to that. No child should grow up in fear of the ones there to nurture, protect and teach them.
They’re expensive. Not an issue for me personally but they’re terrible for the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this environment. They’re loud. I get sick of new hobbies within a year typically, an 18 year commitment to a hobby doesn’t seem feasible to me. Without kids my disposal income is pretty dang good, I work 7-8 months on election and midterm years and travel the rest of the time. Good traveling too, none of that budget crap where people don’t spend shit in impoverished countries and contribute nothing to the tourist economy. But not everyone feels like it’s right for them. And that’s okay. Do not judge others for not having kids or for having kids. “Since their actually helpfull when Im down” kids are absolutly helpfull in those moments. Anyway i enourage everyinr to not do irreversable things. You might feeling like you want or not want kids RN. But it changes, only cows dont change their wants. Wait till you have that ONE partner.
I’m 99% sure the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this world’s going to be damn near unrecognizable thanks to climate change in the next twenty-thirty years. i’d be bringing a human in to the world just for them to grow up during the downfall and mature into whatever the fuck our planets going to look like with perpetual famine and drought and extreme weather at that point. Even I now haven’t had a particularly great go of it and the outlook for my children is far bleaker than that. And I’m not evil, so why would I consciously do that. How will I spend the time? morbidly curious watching this joke of a civilization get stupider and without any direction or meaning while it continues to cannibalize itself more and more to the point it destroys itself or the planet does it first or wild card asteroid or aliens show up we’ll see.
One day my best friend told me he was going to get a vasectomy, this made me think about myself. Then I noticed that for my whole life (M33) whenever I pictured my future, there was never a kid of mine in it. So I realized I never wanted to have kids, that’s when I decided to get vasectomy too, this was around 1 year ago. (Fun fact: by pure coincidence, my surgery was going to be scheduled for the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this same day as my friend’s, and we live in different countries, but I postponed because I was having a visit from my girlfriend at that time, and I wanted to be able to do stuff) How will I spend my time? Normally, with my friends, family… I don’t want to be a father but I’m pretty sure I’m a good uncle. I don’t want the responsibility. Also I don’t want to put my body through a pregnancy. I’ll spend time with my spouse, make art, adopt a couple of cats, travel, etc.
Way too many mental health issues and too inconsistent. Also I want things and to surround myself with things to heal my inner child I would be a terrible parent and the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this idea of being responsible for the development of another human terrifies me beyond belief So much of my life and my money would have to focus on upbringing a child and honestlt from where I’m standing that shit is all downsides with zero upsides. You kind of need a partner in order to makr a child and I don’t have one, have never had one, and in all likelyhood will be dying alone, so even if I did want kids it wouldnt be happening anyway. I am diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and was told I would have an 80% chance of having a permanent psychotic episode after birth. I have seen some horrible cases of women like me that hurt and even murder their children. For this I have decided to not give birth. Adoption is hard for me as well with my mental health issues so I have come to terms I will not have any children. I was a preschool teacher for many years and currently am a Behavioral Therapist for children and autistic people. My friends don’t and also some have children and I have family that I care for. I spend a lot of time with them. I haven’t felt like anything was missing yet. I have moved all over even living in Dubai for four years. Traveled to over twenty countries. I stay busy every year going to concerts, broadway shows, retreats. Can’t say I’m not busy and not happy. I have a lot of hobbies from 3D puzzles, guitar, going to the gun range and road tripping around the East coast for new places to see.
I also enjoy spending time alone and relaxing. Reading or playing video games. I live in the Don’t Fart Funny Dog Weight Lifting Gym Workout Fitness Shirt Additionally,I will love this woods so a lot of time BBQing while blasting music or sitting on the porch drinking cold beers. I know children are amazing and having the love of family is like nothing else but I have to admit I am pretty happy on my own. All of these replies sound so nice. I had kids without truly understanding the implications or fully planning for them. Life is hard. Stick to your guns. I had a nice childhood and good relationship with my family, and I appreciate children in general. But I have no desire to have my own. I’ve watched my siblings and my friends procreate and I’m like “meh”. And the thing is, free time and alone time is a big big part of my type of happines. I’m a very creative introverted person and have many hobbies and interests. The expectation of having a job, and kids, and a household to run, and a relationship to work on is just exhausting to me. Not to mention the absurd expectations put on mothers, no thanks!
