I’m actually learning this (stress tolerance boundary) myself, I think that’s probably why this moment is resonating so much with me. I have a very hard time knowing where/when I go from avoidance to proper self-protection. aww I bet. I felt similarly the Dogs And Cannabis Make Me Happy Humans Make My Head Hurt shirt Besides,I will do this couple of times I’ve watched it. I hope in time she’s glad she made that decision. Contestants who choose to leave should have the fans respect their decision and not try to make them feel guilty for “taking up a spot someone else could’ve had” Agreed!! It’s not factually incorrect that someone else could have had the spot but it doesn’t need to ever be said. Sometimes you think you’re ready to get back in and you agree to it, but shit hits the fan personally and you go and you realize that it’s not a healthy environment. I applaud those who chose their mental health over the show and have the awareness and strength to leave.

The spot in All Stars is less fickle tbh. It happens every year and there’s only a certain pool of 200 queens to choose from, most of which either already have been on the Dogs And Cannabis Make Me Happy Humans Make My Head Hurt shirt Besides,I will do this show and a few whi don’t/can’t come. In a regular season you’re competing with almost every drag queen in America. I know things were different in that season but looking back it’s okay I always see comments of “She took a spot that could’ve gone to someone else”, but like…quitting means that another queen in the competition gets another week in; it means we get a double win to Shut Up And Drive and have 2 queens come back instead of 1. Exactly, it’s irrelevant whether they took a spot or not. At the end of the day, it’s a job. Everyone takes a sick leave at one point or another. No one is saying “well, we could hire someone who is not sick…” If you start a job, you obviously don’t plan on getting sick. Sometimes shit happens. Sometimes it’s not a physical sickness but a mental health issue. Either way, shaming someone for needing time for their health is a horrible way of looking at life.
