Same here, personally I’m all for Barbers charging whatever they like as they have a particular set of skills and provide a service. So I’ve cut down my trips to the barber from once every two weeks to once every 4-5 weeks! I find the cost of add-ons has gone through the roof more than the cut itself. Getting my nose hair waxed and a basic beard trim (takes 2 mins around the edges) now adds £15 to the price – these used to be £3 and £5 add ons not long ago. I’ve switched to trimming my own beard as a result. I like going to one place that charges £35, they do my hair how I like it, it’s a nice enough person who cuts it and I get a beer. I literally came from a hair salon and I thought the average price was at least £25-£30, instead it’s 35 more or less (whelp)
