Agreed. I come from a strong breastfeeding culture and every kid I know has stuck a doll up their shirt to “feed them” at least once. That being said, I think the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this halter top with sensors is weeeeeeeeeird AF. Some things can just be left to kids’ imaginations. People in the US seem to get outraged easily about things that have even mildly sexual connotations yet don’t get outraged by mass shootings. Different values to the rest of the world. Most of the time, it’s like a few dozen loud people that complain, which is completely blown out of proportion by the media for rage bait. The same way as inserting a tampon has sexual connotations in a LOT of people’s heads. If anything to do with the “sex parts” it is sexual. ESPECIALLY female body (because the whole thing is just made for sex in some guy’s mind……) I had a Reddit reply from a guy that circumcision is important so boys don’t have to wash their penis, as it is a sexual act. (I still hope this was just a lame troll, buuuuut…) Bruh you will find dudes on reddit who claim they don’t wipe or wash their asses because it’s gay. What proportion of them are fully trolling is certainly debatable, but I bet it’s not 100% of them…. I had a Reddit reply from a guy that circumcision is important so boys don’t have to wash their penis, as it is a sexual act. (I still hope this was just a lame troll, buuuuut…)
Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt: buy and enjoy this shirt
Willing to bet they were not joking or trolling. An old argument for circumcision was that it made boys less likely to masturbate. It was wrong, but it’s a commonly held belief. Some people just think spending any time touching your dick is sexual, even if it’s for hygienic purposes. Because it deals with women’s bodies, and sex is the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this only approved of context for exposed female skin in the US. Because some people in this world think titties are only for men’s pleasure and definitely not mammary glands designed for feeding offspring. Nevermind that science has been telling them what bodies do with them for a while, they just don’t really care because it doesn’t line up with the first though, titties are a sexual pleasure thing.
Go ask over on onlyfan to the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this women who get paid to give “exclusive content” to their customers while breastfeeding. You must be remarkably dumb if you think no one is outraged by school shootings. By all means call out Americans for not taking appropriate steps, but just saying people aren’t outraged just makes it clear that you want to make up lies just to make point. We are very outraged by mass shootings but we also understand the reality of the situation that guns are impossible to remove. I’m anti gun yet I myself own 4 of them. Not until they hit puberty though, before the girl can “become a woman” they don’t give a fuck about her except to potentially marry her off Ah yes the evil Fox News telling parents not to buy nipple sucking toys for children because it isn’t an appropriate behavior for a child. What an evil network! I remember this and thinking the controversy was weird because just about every toddler I knew with a nursing parent mimicked breastfeeding their dolls already. It’s no different than kids roleplaying bottle feeding. Say they were the last person in line, and only a few people joined in line behind them but it took an hour to get on the ride. Now the ride has a short line but they put “60min wait” on the sign so no one gets in line making for poor utilization of the ride. source: wrote a 58 page thesis on the queuing optimizations by disney imagineers over the years. defunctland has an awesome hour long video about it too
Description for Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt
if you have an hour and fourty three minutes though, watch this video. it summarizes two of the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this concepts i broke down in my paper (and is an incredibly entertaining youtube channel) You wrote a 58 page thesis on queueing? You should be Sir turbo_nudist because that’s the most British thing I’ve heard of. Queuing theory is an entire branch of math! My high school calc teacher used to do a whole unit on it as an excuse to take us to the local theme park on a field trip. idk it is still pretty effective. Over the course of a few months you hand these lanyards out. This gives you different baselines to estimate wait times based on line length. Assuming no major changes to throughput (such as running additional trains on a rollercoaster) then you can use them to get pretty solid estimates.
Plus these arent used to find out the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this current wait time for that moment. They are used to collect overall data which then gets used to find the wait times Except this is in Disneyland (the picture is for the line Big Thunder Mountain, outside of the Rancho restaurant) where they don’t have magic bands. These red cards are given to each guest every ten minutes ideally to keep wait times accurate. So this person isn’t the only one holding a red card for the entire queue I think somebody at Disney has probably had the realization that time generally moves in one direction for human observers and thus wouldn’t make the mistake of putting up a sign with a wait time based on this specific instance of use of the card immediately after said line has cleared the ride.
They count how many people are in line and then give the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this (example) 99th person in line the lanyard. The person who gave out the lanyard records the time (Ex. 12:00 Noon) When the red lanyard bearing person reaches the ride and is allowed onboard, the time is again recorded (ex. 12:45 in the afternoon) Using this number, and a little bit of our friend Cross Multiplication We can do this: 99(people)/45(minutes) = 79(people)/X(minutes) they make the sign that says “wait is approximately 35 minutes from this point” AND PLOP THAT SIGN BY THE 79TH PERSON I mean, reddit is where you go to run into a random expert on a topic you didn’t realize was complex AF and they drop a TIL moment on everyone in the comments. Didn’t know there were folks so educated on queuing but TIL. This person sounds like a well meaning nerd who wants to share what they know because they find it interesting and think we might. I say this with love because I am also a well meaning nerd who does this. I like this kind of pedantry compared to the ones that do it because they desperately want to make somebody else look stupid so they feel bigger. Isn’t that to better measure lines in the future? If you want to know how long the line IS you can just have someone walk down the line and count people. If you do it enough times you should know that if the line is ending over there that means there’s about X people in it and it will take Y time.
You saw those magnetic tags that use in stores, so if you leave the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this store with an item that still has the tag it sounds the alarm? Imagine the same concept, but instead of triggering an alarm, the sensor just counts tags. You put a sensor at the entrance of the line, and one at the finish point. The difference in those counts is how many people are currently in line. Yeah, I’m not holding that thing in my greasy sausages for 90 minutes. I’m gonna pocket it and hope I remember by the time I reach the end. Were they on lanyards when you received them? That might be a change to protocol in order to address that very problem. I got one and told my girlfriend we should keep it and say we forgot if someone asked. She was actually worried about getting tracked down by park security and kicked out if we didn’t hand it in. I would have loved it as a souvenir
I’ve always given it back when I noticed I still had it. It’s not interesting enough to be a souvenir, presumably by design. Last time I went to Disneyland CA, I was pulled aside and asked if I was willing to assist the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this security team. They gave me a heavily taped black rectangle package about 5×7 inches. They asked me to put it behind my back, tucked into my leggings, and pull my fanny pack over it. Then, I was instructed to walk past the training contraband sniffing dog like normal. They were testing the newbie drug dogs. I was excited to be picked for something and felt special!!! I walked past the dog and he didn’t alert at all. They told me he failed the test & that they were going to switch him out for another dog for the shift. I lost that dog his dog job!!!!! Happiest place on earth, folks.
You took a package from a stranger and walked it through security? Sounds like you failed your human job ha /s I’m sure they looked legit! Are you sure they actually work for Disney and you weren’t helping drug traffickers test out a new way of concealing their drugs? It’s called a FLIK card. Fabulous Line Information Keeper. Yes, I’m 100% serious. Source: me, former cast member. They gave me one and we kept passing it back in the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this line. I don’t know if it ever made it to the front but less people were getting in line. I went in without knowing a thing about the ride, what a damned surprise, a pleasant one. Easily the best ride in the Disney parks in Orlando (granted, I did not goto Hollywood studios) It’s more neutral to evil considering you are helping to contribute to false information that other unsuspecting guests are using to plan their day out. The apps are designed to give the people who pay the most, to get the best experience. By doing this, those who are paying to win will see the ride is not preferred, while those in the ground will see it’s a much shorter wait. Isn’t the app free? Or did that change? I remember when I went to Disney World like 3 or 4 years ago the best way to do it was to use the app to schedule fast passes. You could have 3 at any time, so you always got 3 ready and then when you use one, you schedule the next one. I pretty much never went through the normal line and I don’t think I paid anything extra for the app.
Although, even if they do charge for it now, I’m not sure artificially inflating the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this wait time will dissuade people from using fast passes. I assume it’s timed from when the card was given out to when it reaches the front, in order to update the estimate queue time ? I’m a former cast member. It’s called a FLIK card (Fabulous Line Information Keeper). They have an RFID chip in them and they are scanned at the ride entrance just before being handed out, then scanned again shortly before you board the ride to give the ride operators your wait approximate wait time. Unfortunately, a lot of people like to keep them as souvenirs or simply forget to hand them in when they are about to board. When you get in line for a ride, this card is given to the person standing last in line and then the cast member starts a timer. When the person that got the card reaches the front, the card is given to the cast member and the cast member stops the timer. The number on the timer is how long it took for the person to go from the back of the line to the front of the line; henceforth, this value will be known as Average Waiting Time (AWT).
The AWT is then put into an app that “Premium Patrons” have access to (if you’re familiar with FastPasses this is kind of an evolution of that). On the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this app, you can see the AWT for all the rides (i.e. Space mountain has a 15 minute wait, while the Lilo and Stitch ride has a 2 hour wait.) A Premium Patron will look at their app and choose their rides based on their wait time. By passing the card back in line, you’re extending the perceived AWT for the Premium Patrons because the card is taking longer to reach the cast member with the timer. It’s kind of like putting something on a grocery conveyor belt and then just before it scans pushing it to the back of the belt. It should have only taken a couple seconds to scan, but it takes longer because you were being a funny guy.
Now by doing this, the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this Premium Patrons should be less inclined to visit the rides with longer AWT, but they’re only checking on the app. The app says that it’s 2 hours for Lilo and Stitch, but by looking at the actual line you would be able to see it’s only a 15 minute wait. Except, the app is free for everyone to use. The “premium patrons” as you call them are paying for the fast lane anyway so don’t care about the general line wait time. Yes. For a lot of people, going to amusement parks, especially the big ones like Disney and Universal, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I happened to go to Universal (?) when the Harry Potter rides opened, and the wait was at minimum 3 hours the whole day. These are not like your local six flags or Dollyworld or even Busch Gardens really, these are giant parks with branded attractions with world-wide appeal. The rides have gigantic production value and are genuine one of a kind experiences. The AWT is then put into an app that “Premium Patrons” have access to (if you’re familiar with FastPasses this is kind of an evolution of that). On the app, you can see the AWT for all the rides (i.e. Space mountain has a 15 minute wait, while the Lilo and Stitch ride has a 2 hour wait.) A Premium Patron will look at their app and choose their rides based on their wait time.
there’s a sign board where everyone can see what the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this ride times are. The rides also have a timer by the name of the attractions. At least last time I went there. I know you didn’t necessarily hurt anyone but I feel like this is a perfect example of what’s wrong with people today. You were just a dick to be a dick. When I was a teen, I went to Disney land with my class. We were in line for a ride when I had to go pee, so a few of us backtracked out of the line, go to the bathroom, then head back to line. We were just going to cut back to where are friends were (shitty, ik) when the worker at the entrance handed us that lanyard. We didn’t want to be caught cutting so we just… left it on a barrel somewhere in line lol
Wow. That’s how they get the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this number to change the sign at the front of the line? I always figured they counted people entering the line and divided that by # of riders per run or something. They’re lying. It does not provide you with an accurate wait time. It provides those after you with an accurate wait time. Technically it provides you with an extremely accurate time, you just get that estimate as you get on the ride. Obviously a piece of plastic isn’t going to magically provide you with an accurate wait time. Like OP said in the title, it’s used to estimate the wait time, by measuring how long it takes them to reach the front. Which you apparently already figured out, so I’m not sure what you’re claiming they’re lying about.
It’s like Social Security. You benefit from other people holding the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this card, and other people benefit from you holding the card. The only difference is that with Social Security you pay then benefit, with this you benefit first then pay They should give you a fast pass through another ride that day for helping out with that. Doesn’t cost anything to for them.Probably something with an RFID tag that has the approximate time it was given to a guest then logged again when it reaches the workers, and the total time is the estimated wait. Got that once and forgot about it in my pocket and ended up bringing it home. If there’s a ride with an 8 year wait time, that’s my bad They can count how many people are in the line and how long it takes to process that number of clients for the ride. They can then use these metrics to estimate the wait time based on average time per person or rides worth of people are waiting. Add a buffer for families or groups who want to be seated together… Taking these data averages from a longer period allows them to have more accuracy in the estimates, and cameras feeding into software could allow them to know the line count… Giving an automated estimate that continuously updates, probably in units of 5 minutes.
Last time I went to disneyland I was handed one of these too. The ride then closed down while we were waiting in line and nobody came back to get it so I just… took it home. They scanned it before they handed it to you, and they will scan it when you get to the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this front of the line. That’s how the signs are updated with wait times. When I worked at Epcot, I’d send a bunch through with maybe five people in between. It gave someone an excuse to walk them down. I’ve gotten them at universal before, but they just give you like a paper card. Probably easier in case someone decides to pocket it or forgets I worked as a ride operator for 4 years, so I have some insight. The way we used to estimate queue times was this, if it reached X lampost we know that’s exactly 5min, 2nd lamp post is 10 and so on.
On super busy days, we usually have people queuing in the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this wrong direction, jumping handrails or simply queuing so far we had no idea how long it’s going to take. The way we help keep our times reasonable is to give someone at the start of the line a “queue card” and time how long it takes them to get to the station. I had that once but they took it from me when I was front of the queue (which was much longer than they said it would be) and then kept us waiting another 20 mins while the fast pass queue went through. And it was for the bloody winnie the pooh ride thar my wife made me go on I thought like with the roads, they could just use cameras to follow certain people in lines to change wait times. I didn’t know it was still a manual operation.
I’d be at home a week later rewashing the Descendents And Circle Jerks Dec 13-15 2024 Brazil Latin American Tour shirt In addition,I will do this same washing for the second or third time and would hear this rattling around the machine. Wait times are now 160 plus hours. Sorry. They have a bunch of them hanging on the wall of Star Tours as you walk in. I have been given these multiple times. Every time I hand it to the cast member when you get your glasses they just kind of toss it aside. It’s not like there is a chip or tracker on it, so I don’t think they can really tell the wait time with them. Maybe it’s to make you feel more magical, or you did something shady and they now know who to keep an eye on in line. I got to use one of these at Disney World I think, except I think it was slightly more advanced, rather than just a card, it was a whole electronic device, I assume they scan before and after the line. This was like 10+ years ago. Amazon has put tracking chips in the lanyards they hand out at conventions, so maybe this lanyard is tracking the person through the line…
