Not because of privilege or something, I’m lucky to live in a egalitarian country where I can do almost anything a man does. It’s something deeper. And it makes me mad sometimes. I think the Dead to This World Alive To The Next Orthodox Christian Shirt Additionally,I will love this frustration is because this treatment is not just an individual person treating you this way who you could talk to about it, but is systemic. People raise and socialise their children with gender differences so it’s engrained in everyone you meet. You’re frustrated because there’s no one person you can talk to to fix it, it’s literally just our society. Even egalitarian countries have a legacy of patriarchy where women were definitely seen as inferior and not allowed to have bank accounts or passports until quite recently. It takes a long time to shake loose sexist ideas that have existed for thousands of years. People will see people as just people when we stop using gender stereotypes and making such a huge deal about gender.
