I want to add to this and say every build/summon/boss is unique and interact in unique ways and it was too much for them to balance around every single tool in the game. So its up to each player to decide how they want to tackle each boss. You can play it just like dark souls 3 and its much harder, or you can use every tool at your disposal and make things much easier, often ignoring mechanics of the fight. But at the end of the day all that matters is if it was fun for you. The bosses in this game aren’t nearly as fun or fair compared to other souls games. Especially if you’re a solo no summons no ash melee character.
