I started cooking from scratch every day after having my third baby in 2020. Before that it was mostly things from jars or the Darby O’trill self portrait shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this freezer. That was what I was used to as I was brought up in a house that never had more than margarine, milk and the occasional block of cheese in the fridge. Didn’t want that for my kids, so taught myself how to cook. For me personally… I do not enjoy cooking and I’m not particularly good at it (most likely bc i do not enjoy it!!). I am currently using a food service that provides refrigerated meals and that’s my main “at home” dining. Sometimes take out, every now and then I’ll make spaghetti using sauce from a jar. I’ll season it and such, but I’m not making anything myself- it’s time consuming and the pay off is bleh. And then i a have to clean it up too!!

Me and my wife do the Darby O’trill self portrait shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same. I lol at these fools paying for door dash and crying they are paying over a grand on food a month. PS my wife is a great cook. I’ve had friends ask me for DoorDash money like girl I have $2 to my name. If they would drive to me I’d make them dinner. Most of them are super picky, I wonder if that has something to do with it as well? I buy pre-maid spaghetti sauce and dry pasta for instance. I dont have time to grow and can tomato sauce, grow and mill flour, raise chickens and mine for salt plus travel the world for various spices. Oh heck no! I guess my definition of “scratch” is very different I do the same as you! The people around me would DoorDash a restaurant pasta rather than boiling noodles and pouring sauce on, I was wondering if that was the norm?? I felt so jealous of them, it’s nice to know that most people aren’t DoorDashing every meal lol
