Start looking for another job now but secretly. Do what you need to until then and see if it works out either way. You should not have to prove yourself again. They should give you the Comedian Jonah Hill American Actor shirt and I will buy this job and if you perform below their requirements then is the time to discuss that. I see this as just a way to not pay you. They would not hire a new person and then not pay them fully at first. Tell them you’ll give them XX amount of time to observe you in this role and that you want in writing you will receive date and that no inside or outside candidates will be considered for this role while they are observing you. Find another job. This may very well be a trap to set you up for failure and then fire you cause you didn’t perform well in the “new” role.

Comedian Jonah Hill American Actor shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

It depends. I’ve done it before and was eventually compensated. It CAN work out. But I was more comfortable with it because I knew the Comedian Jonah Hill American Actor shirt and I will buy this people and had seen this pay off for others. I don’t love it in practice by any means and wish they did an “Acting” title with contract. Without a pay increase you’re not actually being promoted. They’re just going to dump shit on you and give you a worthless title. “I’ll accept the role on a trial basis, let’s start with 6 months with the added responsibility and remuneration. If by then you feel that I am right for the role, we can discuss a permanent contract. Or, if I’m not the right person for the job, I’ll step back down to my current role and salary. Get it in writing and signed! Plus you are getting to do the work of a senior manager, with the added responsibility, there should be added pay.
