“Quit getting distracted and focus! Just pay attention! Try harder! Quit doing a halfway job!” No. It’s ADHD. Dyslexia. Those exist. They’re hereditary. They’re real. These phrases still trigger me fr I will never lay my hands on my children unless it is to grab them and hug them. I will always have food in my house and food prepared and ready, there will always be dinner made by 5pm and I will not chase my child down and tell them they will “be fat like their mother/father and friendless” because they are eating 4 frozen waffles because nobody made dinner. I developed a eating disorder and became so anorexic I needed rehabilitation. My organs were shutting down and I almost died. Dental care. My parents didn’t always remind me or make me brush my teeth every night before bed. When I was younger I would drink like 2-3 cans of soda while playing video games or watching tv and never brushed at night. It ruined my teeth and I am paying for it now. I just had a root canal done, my 5th one, and it’s expensive. I won’t put my kids dreams and goals down. I won’t laugh at them and belittle them to make them think they can’t do it. I won’t criticize their looks or weight whether too “skinny” or too “big”. I will make affection a normal thing. I will tell them I love them I will apologize every time when I’m in the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this wrong.
College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt: best trending this year
I have heard from friends who are parents that their identity is stripped away once they have kids; that society (United States) strips them of individuality and independence and labels them “mom” and “dad”. “Communication” as in “Proper Communication” If something is expected of me I always preferred to be told what is is exactly i need to do. My parents were always like- it is expected and be very vague about it. I have a child now who is 5. I tell him what he can or can not do and let him know why it is the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this way it is. They didn’t talk to my sisters and I about sex. It was a very taboo topic. Like uncomfortable to even refer to anything that may be sexual. Guess who ended up a pregnant and scared teen? Me! Not letting me get diagnosed with mental disorders, letting me do drugs, doing cocaine with me, cigarettes for my 12th birthday, calling me a fat a** because I stress ate at 9, not celebrating birthdays. But I’m happy my dad noticed his mistakes it sounds crazy but we’re close now
My kids always get individual Christmas gifts. Me and my brother always got the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this exact same things every year, took all the joy out of opening gifts cause it was always 2 of everything (and usually they were all things he’d asked for) So my kids always get different things, unless it’s a thing they both want or would enjoy they don’t get matching gifts. As much as I love my Mom now, one thing she always did when I was growing up was ALWAYS putting her boyfriends before my sister and I. It was so frustrating because I felt as if we were hardly shown any love, my Dad was in prison and My Grandparents were the only people who showed us the love my Mom did not. She was always willing to do any and everything for her boyfriends without thinking twice.
About College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt
If my Daughters Mother and I ever break up and I get a new Girlfriend I will NEVER put anyone before my Daughter, truth be told I wouldn’t even put my Daughters Mother before my Daughter, and I made it clear I expect her to NOT put me before our Daughter either. Not allowing me reap the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this consequences of my actions. Preemptively correcting my mistakes/covering for me. I will not do this with my child. We learn by failing! I was born a week before Christmas, on the 18th. The day my birthday falls on is the day Christmas will be on the following week. I’ve always been forced to share my birthday with either my grandmother, who’s birthday is two days before mine, or with my youngest brother who was born in January. Or we just don’t do anything due to it being so close to the holidays. I didn’t even have a 16th birthday party at all, when my older brother got a limo rented for him to pick him and all his friends up from school. I can understand if my family couldn’t afford to really give me a party due to it being a week before Christmas, but I have have had to watch my three brothers all be given the attention they rightly deserve when their birthdays each come up.
I can’t imagine doing that to my kids one day as I feel it will make them resent me as I have my parents and grandparents I will not have kids, that’s what I’ll make sure won’t happen again. I made that decision at around age 10-11 when my brother was throwing a whopper of a tantrum in public. The kind where he was getting dragged out kicking and screaming out of a mall because he got told no for something – I remember thinking “I’m related to that, no way I want to deal with this one day” It would be to not raise them in organised religion and to let them safely explore different things that pique their interest Interestingly my teenager told me that he gets that I intend to do everything exactly the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this opposite way vs how my parents did it, but I’m also allowed to do things my way (as opposed to always reacting to how my parents were)
I pay attention to healthy habits (balanced diet, enough sleep, having our meals together in a stress free environment, doing sports together as a regular thing) I have never made fun of my kid or body shamed him or put him down. I enjoy and encourage him express his personality because that’s more important than fitting in a box Using shouting & physical violence, comparisons to other kids; about outer looks and smartness, ridiculing in front of others, putting shame on the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this child & twisting realities to justify my outbursts, putting shame on others & trying to make them look guilty to make myself look like a victim My childhood was absolutely fucked up but also taught me to be a nice and careful person, trying to be kind to others & honest. I couldn’t imagine getting my own children cause I always thought I was too traumatized & would treat my kids in the same way when overburdened. I thought I’m not worth it finding someone who loves me but now almost 20 years later I’m doing fine and hope I’ll rock it and give my child as much love as possible and can be a good mother 🥲
My folks would go from 0-100 instantly. Sort of “we are marching to the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this school now, storming in and finding them” sort of stuff. I just kept quiet about any problems because I knew there would be a huge over reaction. Even now I don’t like to make a fuss.
I didn’t watch it until I got HBO Max. I watched it all in about a month and I quite enjoyed it. I actually think watching it when and how I did is a major reason why I didn’t hate the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this ending. I would watch it now after the hype. Just need to avoid spoilers (I know the ending unfortunately). The only problem is then I have to go through old Reddit TV threads so I can see what people were saying about it. I was disappointed the last season was so short, but those who complain it broke with everything before, weren’t paying attention. She was always going to go mad with power and dragons. Pretty sure that was the whole theme of the show. The short season was annoying and I do think letting things stretch out would’ve maybe helped things land better. Also, not saying that last season didn’t have issues, but I don’t think they were as world breaking as people acted. Fully agree with you on her arc BTW. She fancied herself a benevolent leader, but actually lookng at her actions, she was anything but. Her actions were very consistent and they do make sense given what she goes through in those 6 episodes.
I often enjoy the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this super popular shows and games later, after the hype dies down. It just makes it easier to take it all in. My mom has never had any interest in pop culture because she’s a boring old fart, does she qualify? Cause to me she’s just an infuriatingly bland person to be around. I only got into GoT because I wanted more of Peter Dinklage after hearing him in Ice Age. And I did read the books beforehand. It started out promising. It’s like one of those people that’s antisocial and “hates people”, except for the other antisocial people they relate to whose weaknesses they conveniently ignore so they can hate other people together. Unity! I just started watching the series this month for the first time. I’m in season two and so surprisingly disappointed. Saw the first episode through a friend who worked for Comcast and got a DVD before it was released. While it looked okay, I didn’t want to invest that much time. This. I think it would be dumb not to try something that popular – if so many people love it, maybe it’s something good that I’ll enjoy too. But I watched most of the first episode and didn’t enjoy it – I have a short attention span, and it moved too slowly for my personal taste. Exactly. If the speed of the first episode was any kind of indicator, it would have been like 6 hours before anything mildly entertaining would happen.
After EVERYONE I know telling me how much I’d just love stranger things, and me hating it, I’ve simply assumed that I’d equally dislike GOT and continued to not bother. (If someone else put it on, I’d shrug and watch it, just not going to do it on my own. ) Yes, I didn’t like stranger things either, for the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this same reason – it moved too slowly for my personal taste. I think that people who enjoy slow paced shows don’t understand that some other people don’t. Nothing inherently wrong with slow paced shows – lots of people love them – but not me. I think you nailed what I couldn’t put into words. It was just so slow that I got bored immediately, and didn’t give a shit about any of the characters. I was going like “when does the meteor come and take out all these assholes?”. That is when I realized I should just stop watching shows I don’t care about. I also don’t like movies where you have to pay a ton of attention to a bunch of dialogue. But I also realize my taste in movies in mostly mindless trashy entertainment.
that’s nonconformity for the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this sake of nonconformity, and it’s still just another version of making your choices based on what other people are doing instead of deciding for yourself if you like something or not. Or you just don’t watch it because it doesn’t appeal to you, and you simply don’t give a damn if anyone else is watching it. Big difference. Never watched it. Never will. To further illustrate my stubbornness, I have also never seen any part of LOTR, any of the Mission Impossible series, any of the Matrix movies, or most of the MCU movies. I saw Ironman and Antman… that’s it. There was once a time you would never tell the mainstream you got into fantasy because it was very nerdy indeed. We used to enjoy it in cheap privacy, the only obstacles being waiting for and getting your hands on a new release.
It’s true. I am happy for people who love that stuff, but I have never been into it. It’s just not my thing. That’s not to say I never see “fun” movies. I saw Barbie. I did not find it life-altering. It was okay. It’s amusing from my perspective…I come from a time where books were read then theory discussion was had on the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this early message boards and blogs. We watched the LoTR thing explode…fantasy owes Peter Jackson a massive solid for his work…and knew the private world we indulged in was about to be busted. Now it’s massively mainstream. I find some of the TV work really good. The LoTR work was exceptional but Jackson is brilliant. I haven’t watched the ASoIaF stuff beyond the second season I think it was but I want Martin to finish the book series, that’s what I’m in it for, not the television. If you read books yourself you’ll understand why…it is difficult for TV shows to recreate what your imagination through reading builds and it can end up underwhelming. Definitely. I’m a voracious reader. I don’t read sci-fi or fantasy, either, but I love horror and there’s some overlap there. I rarely love the movie version of anything as much as I love the book. There are a few exceptions like The Shining and Misery.
My problem with sci-fi and fantasy is usually the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this language and the creation of an uncanny valley universe. I just don’t ever feel immersed. Yep, it’s not for everyone, that’s the beauty of reading. It’s fascinating how different genres do exactly the same thing to the reader. I struggle with real life genres such as crime, thriller and spy, books for me are a doorway out of this planets functions, that’s why I’m heavily into fantasy and sci fi. Quite often it’s those uncanny universes Im into the story for. Unfortunately there’s a lot of terrible writing out there. Poorly built worlds, magic systems that are lazily slapped together. I got an old friend that never watchdd it. He’s far gone. Maga and the like. Thinks that game of thrones is all wizard bullchit that is encouraging a fantasy mind set in young people that is turning them gay. Lol. But he is also a huge WWE fan. I stopped talking to him after he told me aliens are actually demonic entities trying to come into earth. So yea. Im now bias toward those who have not seen GoT
I didn’t watch it because I never watch media that’s hyped up everywhere, because I know it won’t live up to my expectations and I’ll be disappointed (also never watched Squid Games, etc). I’ll wait twenty years for everyone to forget about it and then watch it maybe. Same here. Not a single episode. I love good fantasy but his books are shit. I couldn’t imagine a show based on the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this most salacious parts of bad writing. I didn’t watch the sopranos, the wire, or game of thrones when they were on TV. I didn’t watch any weekly show like that. Then covid hit and I binged them all. Early Sopranos and the first season of the Wire were amazing. They lost their shine for me pretty quick and I never tried GoT.
Are people out here watching TV shows out of some kind of pressure? I just watch based on what seems interesting to me. Popularity only comes into it in the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this sense that if a lot of people like something, there’s probably a reason for that. Was going to check it out when it ended but then it ended and the internet talk then made me decide not to watch it Not having streaming, I had to wait until the DVDs were available at the library. It is not a big deal for me that I am out of sync with everybody else. There are more important things in life then talking about the latest TV series. My entire family watched it but I haven’t seen a single episode. I’m not really a TV person, or a pop culture person for that matter. If you were to ask me what’s popular right now in TV, music, movies, I wouldn’t have a clue. I don’t consider this a flex, I don’t think I’m superior at all for this, and I’m definitely not nlog, I just prefer audiobooks and documentaries for my media of choice because I’m a giant nerd who loves learning new things more than anything else on planet earth. God that sounds so cringey but there it is.
The utter irony though. Not susceptible to peer pressure…. MAGA affiliation loud and proud. There’s no cognitive dissonance there at all, nooooooo I never watched it but that’s because I can’t emotionally handle traumatic shows. I don’t want any dramas for that reason What the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this f*** is is the point of this fool. They’re putting a simple gesture of avoiding a show that they clearly don’t have interest in as if it gives some important life lesson. It’s someone who didn’t watch a f****** TV show smart enough you dumbass Never watch a TV adaption of anything when the Source material is incomplete. That’s how you get the balls up the final season was… My kids and some friends couldn’t believe i wasn’t watching this “totally awesome” series. TV series are a waste of my time. . . Actually TV in general is a waste of my time. Low key, I’d bet he really wants to watch it.. lmao!!…but now he’s in too deep and can’t fold!!! … I kinda feel bad for him. That was me. Although, I did watch a couple episodes and just sort lost interest. I’ll watch it someday. Maybe. yeah, if you’re maga, the very last thing you can’t brag about is not being affected by social pressure. Sorry lady.
Or subscribe to HBO or whatever pay source it ran on. Me too, didn’t have subscription never saw the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this show. Not saying good or bad, just didn’t have access.
Both adults are charged with second-degree murder and other charges. They have been hospitalized since the College Football Playoff 2025 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Helmet NCAA Bowl Games 2024-2025 Shirt Besides,I will do this shooting, Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said during a news conference. The new charges come after two juveniles were detained last week on gun-related and resisting arrest charges. Authorities said more charges are possible. Yeah it would appear that the adults who did the actual shooting were in the hospital. and the teens were just doing other illegal things at the wrong time wrong place? Edit: the juveniles were charged with resisting arrest and “other gun related charges in connection with the shooting” not much information has been released about them yet. Also there was a 3rd adult arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm. According to witnesses the man picked up one of the guns dropped by one of the shooters and just walked away. He claims he was going to give the gun to police as evidence, but was arrested by police. According to reports I’ve read he immediately threw the handgun to the ground when approached by police and dropped to the ground. Currently police do not believe he was involved with the shooting in anyway. Edit 2: the story of the 3rd adult is actually kinda nuts from what I’ve found. He was a felon who was arrested in Kansas on “suspicion to distribute marijuana” charges. Ironically Missouri the state the shooting happened in recently passed recreational marijuana. Every account only describes him as walking. So supposedly he was walking to the bathroom. Saw a bunch of people running away yelling about a shooting. He then saw the scene of the shooting (from what I can tell it was still an active shooting but this could also possibly be after the shooting is over) and saw a handgun that had been dropped by one of the shooters. He then walked over, picked it up, and continued to the bathroom. (I’d like to add here that so far there have been 4 people arrested in relation to the shooting but reports also refer to “others” not yet mentioned who also were involved). When police arrived at the scene witnesses told them about someone picking up the gun and where he went. When police approached him he threw the gun on the ground and did not resist arrest.
