I even dumped it all out into the CJRC Mad Scientist Shirt Furthermore, I will do this garbage just to prove to her that it was actually FLOUR but she was convinced that I was an addict and somehow had enough money to buy a pound of cocaine when the day before she bought me Taco Bell because I didn’t have enough money to get me through to my next paycheck My wife was on the cusp of freaking out when she couldn’t find our 10 year old in her room or living room, this morning. Happy Mother’s Day to my borderline mom, who made it all about HER the day I had an emergency C-section giving birth to her one and only grandchild. Grown ass adult, visiting from out of town: Had a huge argument about my bedtime. Seriously! I did not want to go to bed at 10pm. She actually pulled the As long as you’re under my roof… bs. I promptly packed my shit & went to the local hotel. I came for a visit, to see her, because supposedly “She missed me soooo much’.

My dad took me on a trip like we used to when I was little….I get there and I don’t even have my own room I’m literally expected to sleep on the CJRC Mad Scientist Shirt Furthermore, I will do this couch in the living room while all the “adults” get their own room (I was 22) and my dad yelled at me for having the audacity to not go to bed at 10 pm like him. And he wonders why I don’t go on trips with him anymore! He also opened my mail way into adulthood. And wonders why I moved out ASAP! Yeah my MIL is being psychotic and I’m trying to keep the bridge from burning down entirely. But I’ll be damned if I get her a card about how caring she is. Same thing happened to me. After I got out of the military I briefly moved back in with my parents, mostly just to spend time with them and my brother before moving back out. Talking about 2-3 weeks here. My mother tried to give me a curfew. My younger brother, who had never left home, did not have one. When I pointed this out her justification was that “well he never moved out”. Any excuse to try to retain power in the parent-child dynamic, right?
