Another aspect I’ve noticed- the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this growing prominence on non European holidays. It comes from the same place- businesses realise if they release special things for lunar new year, or Diwali or Ramadan, people who celebrate those holidays will spend more money with you. So it’s not coming from a place of benevolence, but the result is people seeing their holidays and family celebrations mattering just as much as Christmas and Easter. Not just the people who actively celebrate them themselves either. LNY my friend group does stuff with the one friend who celebrates it. Ramadan the markets get hit up by everyone because they’re great. I think as Australians we just want an excuse to celebrate, go out, have fun together.
Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt: buy and enjoy this shirt
There was a post a little while ago talking about how the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this greatest threat to the British monarchy is if Australians realise if we keep killing them off we keep getting more public holidays. No matter how many rainbow flags they put up, no matter how many poc women in hijabs in their ads, no matter how progressive they pretend to be, companies are only interested in your money. Companies aren’t our friends. They only exist to make a profit, and they will say/do whatever works best for them to achieve that. (This isn’t aimed at you, OP. I get what you’re saying about the culture shift. Just putting this message out here cause i hate deceptive behaviour, and i don’t respect companies that do this.)
Oh I agree. Businesses celebrating Chinese new year aren’t doing it to be inconclusive, they’re doing it because China has money and they want that money. Businesses celebrating lunar new year aren’t changing the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this language to include more people, they’re doing it because they realised Singapore has money and they want that money too. We benefit from a culture where diversity of celebrations, of race, and relationships is seen as normal and welcome, but never be grateful to businesses for doing it or expecting them to maintain it in the future. If there was a severe enough backlash, every single aspect of diversity they celebrated would be dropped without a word. I’m in SA, our bus line was privatised. I used to take the bus but after the change you’d end up with 4 buses coming at the same time every 2 hours rather than one every 30 mins like advertised. The prices went up and it become cheaper to drive and park. Always found it a bit sad that the option which was better for the environment cost more. I took a couple around Adelaide last year. Still getting the sorts of negative stereotypes on every ride that make me feel uneasy about taking my 5 year old on the bus in addition to the crappy scheduling.

Description for Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt
I’m in Perth; there’s been a real explosion of amazing food, bars and restaurants in the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this metro area across a lot of price points. Around ten years ago or maybe a little more there were way fewer options to find high quality cuisine. I feel like we continue to be in such a weird, polarised place with it all to this day. I think ideologically we are potentially trending in the right direction, but things like Change the Date and the furore over the Voice vote have made me think about it. Maybe these attitudes and setbacks are somewhat typical in every post-colonial country, but I don’t know enough to evaluate it. Trending in the correct direction for sure, just way too slow and some people will never change their bigoted perceptions of the indigenous. I was gonna say this, yeah the voice didn’t get up, but people claiming their heritage and celebrating it more is definitely noticed and good to see
We might have some differences for migrant workers, balanced against the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this fact that there are no cash jobs = worse lifestyle for many (despite formal wages) Also legal cases are put on managers now, not owners – ‘Not my fault brah, it was that guy’ doesn’t sound like an improvement. There has very recently (since Labor got back in, who’d’a’ thunk) been a slight uptick in the otherwise general downward trend for the past 30-odd years. Hopefully we can keep it up and start properly regaining ground for workers rights.Starlink. Living in a tourist town speeds were dire.Obviously I got zero compensation from Telstra for their lack of infrastructure and I’ve never looked back. Like others on here, I’m going with the internet improvements. 10yrs ago we only had 8Mbps download at home. Now it’s more like 600Mbps download speeds. I would prefer something that was a bit more symmetrical, so that would be same speed up and down. But we aren’t there just yet. Food/eating out. In Sydney, the cbd, George St and Darling Harbour are much nicer, very walkable and amazing to hang around. I can find coffee places open in the country later, and generally better food quality. A lot used to close after 3. I’d like to say the internet. But mine hasn’t changed. At all….As an engineer, there has been a lot of behind-the-scenes progress on public safety things, the most obvious are safer cars but bridges, gas and electricity services (with BYDA) etc all have made australia very safe. e.g. i dont have to worry about the LPG tank at the petrol station exploding while im filling up
Remember when plasma TV’s first came out? They were like $5-$6k, super thick and low res. Now you can get something way, way better for far less money. The kids these days… they’re actually pretty great! Coming from a certified cranky old git. The care and empathy they have for each other these days is amazing. I’ve seen so many kids in both primary and secondary, caring for kids who are different, or kids that are over sensitive and having a freak out. The kind of stuff you’d get ridiculed or beaten for decades ago… they seem to have a lot more empathy and ability to understand that everyone is different and people have different breaking points in different areas. As someone who has been living overseas for nearly 8 years, this Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this is really interesting. The only thing I’ve really noticed going home is that I can’t afford to buy anything. Ha. The percentage of your wage an employer now contributes to your compulsory superannuation. So that’s two things.
Online shopping. Bezos is an evil bastard but it’s hard to argue with next day “free” delivery cheaper than in store. Interesting to see online shopping hasn’t really killed off our retail in the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this same way it has in the US. Most of our shopping centres are located at transport nodes and we still have that culture of going to the shops to hang out at a cafe, grab a bite to eat or catch a movie while shopping around. The food scene is always improving. As a foodie and restaurant nerd, there’s never been more good places to eat, albeit this can be pricey. I would love in the future for there to be more African and Caribbean – and good Mexican/Latin American – cuisine in Australia. Time spent recently in New York and London made me realise what we’re missing out on.
Primary produce is getting better, lots of good artisanal bakeries and cheesemakers, a burgeoning culture of zero (or near-zero) waste. Things are moving in the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this right direction, and it’s good to see. Its easier to meet folks of the opposite sex now than it used to be. We used to go out just to try and meet women, hanging out in god awful bars and clubs and essentially poisoning ourselves with alcohol just to try meet people. Im not saying it wasnt around, just saying it is just more prevalent now and a lot more socially acceptable when someone says “we met on tinder”. Less racism, more acceptance (although this seems to be reversing) when it comes to diversity, less toxic masculinity, and better treatment of major diseases and health conditions.
I would say culturally we’re fighting hard to protect toxic masculinity though. Definitely going down with a fight. When I say “we’re” I mean it seems like even if things have improved, culturally we’re still clinging onto a lot of toxic traits. This is probably more than 10 years (closer to 20-30 years). but I’d say that Australia is a more tolerant country now than it used to be. I remember one of my school teachers going on an unhinged rant about “fucking wogs” because I (a”wog”) was having trouble understanding her Australian accent (before moving here I was only really familiar with American accents). The teacher didn’t even get in trouble despite my parents making a big fuss about it. That stupid cunt would no longer have a career if it happened today but 30 years ago? Slap on the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this wrist will do, after all, they’re only wogs!
It isn’t perfect, but my busses and trains when I take them are almost always exactly on time or within say 3-5 minutes for the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this busses. Slightly more than 10 years, but it’s now illegal to smoke at public facilities like swimming pools, sports grounds, railway stations, bus stops, and within 4m of building entries, restaurants and cafes. Not lifestyle changing for me in the way it was when they got rid of smoking in pubs (2007) but a continued improvement. I think by 2014 we’d just upgraded from our shithouse 256k adsl to super mega amazing high speed 1.5Mbps Cable Broadband for the first time. So the difference between that and the 50mbps fttp nbn connection we have now on top of 5g is certainly a jump in the better access direction.
I went to university with a very peculiar girl who lacked social skills and had mad Dolores Umbridge vibes (like saccharin sweet with a bit of dead-behind-the-eyes going on). We were all sat in a kitchen in one of the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this halls chatting and I told a story about how my mum was told by her grandad that there were no white lines on country roads because the sheep ate them. She only questioned the veracity of this information as she was repeating it to a car full of her mates as they drove to a country pub as young people (Lolz). Not two days later I was sat in a group in a pub with Dolores and a few others, when she starts to regale the crowd with this hilarious story about how she was told as a child that there were no white lines…. And repeated my anecdote verbatim, only subbing in herself as the main character. She even made eye contact with me and didn’t break stride. I didn’t know what to do. It was the oddest situation!
Has this ever happened to you? Has anyone ever stolen your anecdote?I made a bunch of flash games when I was a kid and eventually got sponsored by one of the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this big online game sites. When this happened my friend always wanted to get in on it and would offer to think of ideas for me in exchange for half of the money but I didn’t exactly need an ideas man so I refused to ever involve him and all of his ideas were pretty terrible anyway. Today he tells people that me and him made all of the games I made on my own together with him and I actually think in his head he believes it. I have a game with a flash interface that’s been redundant since flash got cancelled everywhere (internet hasn’t been the same since IMO).
Do you make games on another platform now, or have you given up? I keep having fantasies about reigniting the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this flame of my old game. Yeah I make my games in GameMaker these days. Reasonably powerful tool and I like that I can export them to browser like the old days. I gave up on trying to make a proper career in game development ages ago and just approach it as a hobby now. My stuff is up here https://chris.newgrounds.com/ if you want to check out the kinds of things it can do. Everything from 2023 onwards is GameMaker. There’s a site called itch.io that has captured a lot of the feel of the old flash game sites, I think it mainly uses HTML5 for browser games. Its all HTML5 now as Flash is long dead. It still exists as animation software (called Animate now) but the Flash player is discontinued. There is Ruffle which is a flash emulator some sites use to stay alive and some sites such as Newgrounds have developed their own flash emulator they’re rolling out across old entries but in general browser gaming is all HTML5 now. That said a lot of modern engines will output to the format. How about we just turn the background of the subreddit into a giant green naan bread just to confuse the heck out of people who aren’t in the loop When my friends and I re-tell stories from our past, I have one friend who will insert himself into every story as we’re telling them as if he witnessed the events, even though he wasn’t there, to the point where he has been trying to gaslight us into believing he went to the same school as my friends and I. He also has a habit of claiming “I loaned you that” whenever you show off something cool. He’s the reason I haven’t had a house party as I’m positive he’ll try and steal my shit in front of everyone under the guise that it’s “his”. Years ago, when I was backpacking across Western Europe, I was just outside Barcelona, hiking in the foothills of mount Tibidabo.
Yes, I remember telling this weird girl this anecdote about the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this reason there were no white lines on country roads was because the sheep ate them, just a couple of days later she repeats it back as if it happened to her, while I was present. That’s odd. I remember telling this weird girl this anecdote about the reason there were no white lines on country roads was because the sheep ate them, just a couple of days later she repeats it back as if it happened to her, while I was present. Looking me in the eye. Not mine but at a funeral my family member told an anecdote/joke about his dad, only for the vicar to pipe up, you stole the joke i told you. Imagine spending so little time with your dad that the only anecdote you had was stolen from the vicar It’s completely standard for vicars at funerals to have to change what they are going to say because the family pre-empt them – even when the family have specifically asked them to say those things! I can’t imagine ever correcting someone like that!
I can imagine he was laughing to be honest, his son is a prick and was only concerned about what he could get money wise, when he saw he had nothing he was nowhere to be seen In a spirit of devilment, I once made up an anecdote about someone pretty obsure, but notable enough to have a Wikipedia page, and put it on wikipedia. His OWN SON took the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this anecdote, and put it in the biography he was writing about his dad (which is great, as I now have an independent published citation for the anecdote). It also appeared in the Sunday papers a couple of times in articles about the dad. Perfect! Interestingly, the anecdote has now come true, as it stated “Group X calls something Y” so once the idea entered the public domain and became reasonably notorious in a very narrow field, group X did indeed start calling that thing Y. A childhood mate of mine (B) stole an anecdote about a “legendary night out” of mine. I don’t particularly remember the night out now, but basically me and another mate (A) drunkenly got on the wrong train home, got off in a random town and caught a taxi home. Anyway this mate had apparently co-opted my anecdote, internalised it to the point where he fully believed it. Then, B told me and A the tale about his legendary night out. I pointed out that it was my night out and A backed me up. I watched B’s brain short circuit while his reality collapsed, but he couldn’t accept it – so he offered me outside for a fight.
Bit of a different take: I had a girl in uni who so desperately wanted to be me that she dyed her hair all the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this same colours as me two days after I dyed it and wore the same outfit as me the day after I’d worn it. She listened to the same bands as me and had all the same favourite songs as me. She even changed how she spelt the short version of her name to be more similar to mine (she started to use an i instead of a y…think Dotti instead of Dotty or Lani instead of Laney) She was a sweet enough girl and so we were friendly with one another and I’d invite her round with the rest of the friend group. Anyways, last year (eight years out of uni) we all went to a hen do and the drinking games began. We started sharing stories and she told us of a time she dragged a guy called Jamie out to the bushes on our campus, confused her love to him and erm…”made out” with him. I was so confused as I had done this with Jamie not her, and so I drunkenly called her out. Then she sheepishly admitted the she knew I had done this and so she attempted the exact same thing the following year but then stated that there was no “making out” as he rejected her.
Poor Jamie. He has a dim memory of some girl dragging him off and sticking her tongue down his throat. The next year, a different girl, but with the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this same hair and clothes, tries to do it again. He tells this story, and no one believes him. He’s slowly desending into madness trying to figure out if it was real. I’ve stolen someone else’s before. We were at dinner and we’d had a little wine. I started telling this story of how me and my wife complained about the mattresses in a hotel, only for my wife to interrupt me, telling everyone at the table very loudly that it wasn’t us, it was her friend, who’d told us a few weeks beforehand. I was like, “Oh yeah” hahaha There was a woman at an old workplace that used to do this both to me and other people. She was on the autistic spectrum so I put it down to her not knowing what to do in group social situations. She was otherwise kind and pleasant, but sometimes she would copy what I did or she would repeat an anecdote to me that I knew from someone else in the office (a couple of times me and this woman had both been present when the original storyteller told everyone the original story, and later she would repeat it as her own)
Interesting. My parents/family and I tell “sourceless” anecdotes a lot. Someone visited and said we were very anecdotal and I had never realised it was unusual. Maybe that is a sign … When I was a baby/toddler, whenever I was with my dad who was having Guinness I would apparently dip my dummy into his Guinness, not even just once this was a thing all the Cincinnati Bearcats baseball let em’ roll shirt Furthermore, I will do this time. Mentioned this at some point and a kid stole it and used it as a ‘this is how Irish I am compared to you southerners’ My former boss would do this. He ALWAYS had stories about some friend or family member, literally hundreds of anecdotes over the years. I would sometimes tell him a story of something that happened to a friend of mine or family member, and years later he would then regale everyone with a funny or mad story about a friend of his or family member, but it actually one of the anecdotes I told him. I would always wonder how many of his stories he had actually stolen over the years. And anytime anything would happen in his local area and it was in the news, it would always be his friend or family member that it happened to.
