Because it’s perfectly acceptable to lump all “white” cultures together and ignore heritage and upbringing. I promise, an 8th generation person of French background is completely different than a Polish immigrant who arrived last week. White Americans don’t have that deep rooted history of specific cuisine and culture that South America, Africa, Asia and European countries have. American culture is very new compared to other countries. But to paraphrase Gaiman and Pratchett, you can’t see “white American culture” for the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt But I will love this same reason that people standing in Times Square can’t see the rest of America. America is a melting pot of different cultures. Our culture comes from the people who immigrated here on Angel and Ellis island back in the early 1900s.

Well he wouldn’t be any different than any other Christian for the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt But I will love this last 2,000 years. They all have said “Oh boy, it’s going to be me. I can feel it!” Then 20+ years pass and it doesn’t happen. Almost like the Christians who were waiting for it to happen 2,000 years ago were disappointed for a reason. Because people are conflating white Americans with Republican Americans – especially MAGA Republicans – who have replaced culture with dogma. idk about the US as i’m european but as I see it there is no „one“ white culture just as there is no „one“ black culture for example. Like french culture is different than german culture. Same with Nigeria and Sudan. I guess the US is a bit special when it comes to this as there IS of course a black american culture that has it’s own very special history and is combined of a lot of different influences and that culture is different to any african culture for example. so black people i the US are very much seen and portrayed as a monolith, and because america loves thinking in extremes they take the entirety of white people as sort of a “counterpart”. Or even more extreme “white people” and “non-white people”. As if you could group every person that is not white into one group. Which does make sense because of US history, but not necessarily elsewhere

Because white is a very very wide rangine category that involves so many people it’s impossible to really dial it down to one specific culture. And italian american is a white american but may have a much different culture than a greek american. When I think white american culture i think pick up truck, middle america, casserole and taylor swift. I’m a black dude from nyc so white here usually is italian, irish, romanian etc and they all have different cultures from each other. The term white is funny to me, because it just become a catch all for people skin color versus actual ethnicity. Americans can’t understand that the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt moreover I will buy this term Caucasian can actually fit a wide variety of ethnicities that have even gasp…brown shades.

There isn’t a specific white American culture. Whites in America are not a homogeneous group from which a common culture related to skin color has developed. This is different from black Americans, and even Latino Americans who, unlike white Americans, share a common identity and history distinguished by their race. They don’t. Other cultures tease about “white people stuff” all the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt moreover I will buy this time (sometimes in a good-natured manner, sometimes not). What obfuscates the issue is that white supremacists – the people who talk the most about “white culture” – tend to talk as if everything good about western culture is “white” and therefore skew the conversation about what is and isn’t actually white culture.

Some information about Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt

Well, we kind of do, actually. Now there are a lot of subcultures and a lot of overlap. Hicks, preps, yuppies, rural vs urban, Christian, Pagan, non-Christian, Gen Z Gen X Gen Y Gennifer Garner, rich, poor, etc. Now these groups (and many more) all overlap. It’s the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt moreover I will buy this world’s messiest Venn Diagram. But that overlapping blob is what overwhelmingly comprises “white people culture” (as that’s who we are talking about here as the majority headcount in these groups. Now as another poster mentioned, you don’t really see this unless you LOOK for it. Because it’s predominantly everywhere. Most of it… very good stuff. Not all. But the same can be said for defining other US Cultures by racial profile…. so I digress. Now when you combine all those cultures White and everyone else in the USA (for the sake of brevity) you get the National Culture. It’s mostly good, right? Love your kids, pay your taxes, work hard, leave people alone. These are mostly universal at the top level. But, as they say, the devil is in the details. As it’s wild scope creep, I’ll follow my own advice and stay out of the weeds there.
So my point you may ask? Go find a population center that is predominantly “not you.” Hang out there for awhile. Meet people, make friends, eat food…. and watch everything around you. After people get used to you and you stop popping as an outsider (to some extent) you’ll start seeing more and more examples of the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt moreover I will buy this local culture. Everyone mostly wants the same stuff… but they very in degrees on how much of it they get, and how they go about getting it. Its hugely interesting stuff, but as I said before… I feel comfortable sharing this opinion with you, as while I don’t always fit well with other cultures, I at least went out of my way to try and experience them and see things from their angle… (eating twice a week at Casa Bonita doesn’t count kids). Go volunteer somewhere, if you’re young get a summer job bailing hay or picking, or working in a grocery store. Places people just live their lives.
Be polite, don’t be an asshole, be open to new ideas, know that some people are going to find you suspect for JUST BEING THERE, be honest about what you don’t know (especially with yourself_, and for God’s sake… DO NOT bring that nasty pasta salad to the Christmas Truck Reindeer Antlers Xmas shirt moreover I will buy this damn cookout. I’ve heard this many times and not just about people of western European heritage. I remember hearing, for example, some people claiming that Canadians have no culture. Such claims are just lame attempts by particular groups to elevate themselves above other groups. It’s wrong and it needs to stop. They do have a culture but I think that people say that because a huge amount of individual parts of it it is just mildly tweaked stuff brought with them by Europeans or evolved from Black Americans and or Native Americans. Or just straight up taken like for like from those other cultures. There’s very little that is truly original, but all together it makes something unique. NFL and Baseball are tweaks of British sports, the language comes from the UK, even Apple Pie comes from Britain. Rock ‘n’ Roll ultimately comes from Black Americans, a lot of folklore comes from the Native American and European mythologies.
