That saying “wherever you go, there you are” is appropriate here. If you’re running from depression, depression will follow you to your new location. Not irresponsible at all! That’s part of life and being an adult! Your parents are entitled to their opinion but you are ultimately responsible for your happiness. If its within reason and you can pay all your bills and it makes you happy, do it! You’re so young, go live your life how you want. As long as you’re not burning major bridges to live your dreams then make it happen. I didn’t do a major move like that, I’ve lived in Portland for over a decade, but I did get to see many migrate over here simply because they wanted to. I never met someone who regretted it. BUT: do your homework first. Research/evaluate where you will rent/live and work. Find the Christmas Tree Holiday Season Griswold And Co Est 1989 Shirt and by the same token and best job possible. Save as much money as you can before you move

Christmas Tree Holiday Season Griswold And Co Est 1989 Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

That’s as good a reason as any. You’re young and allowed to do things like this. Maybe you don’t like it after you move? Then move again. Good luck!! Only you can really answer if the Christmas Tree Holiday Season Griswold And Co Est 1989 Shirt and by the same token and decrease in income is balanced out by an increase in mental health and wellbeing. At the end of the day, live your life for you, nobody else, and make wellbeing a priority in any career choice you make. If you can get a job there and afford the rent, do it! You are young and can move easily, assuming your not married or have kids. You might find that living in a place is different to visiting and you aren’t happy there. BUT you won’t know unless you try. Yes, there is an opportunity cost, but you’re only turning down a hypothetical situation at the moment. It’s not like you’ve actually been offered the ‘next level’ job in a bigger company yet. At your age, I’d go for the life experience. Who knows what other skills and opportunities you might find while there that give you a more rounded view of life and even help with your future career. All I’d say is make sure you have some kind of source of income lined up *before* you go, as it might seriously detract from the experience if you have to start out by looking for work. Responsibility in this sense really only applies once you have kids and dependents you are responsible for. So long as you have a realistic idea of how you will live and get by there (sounds like you do) and you are okay with the level of lifestyle that entails its your life, why wouldnt you do it? This is the exact point in your life when you DONT have to worry about the “practicality” of moving to a city without a preset job in place. Id just recommend having some sort of exit strategy. If you arent able to find work, turns out its better to visit then live etc, do you have somewhere to go to regroup/recover/lick your wounds. Sounds like you probably do with your family even if they dont fully approve, you just need to be able to admit defeat and own up to it if things dont work out.
