Welp, I’m not saying the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this current people running the government ARE wiser or smarter but just by virtue of being on the earth longer there is absolutely a greater likelihood to know more than a younger person. Trump has a cult of personality that dominates the GOP base. Everyone who doesn’t like Trump has no choice but to unite around one alternative candidate because not doing so will simply risk putting Trump back in power. And because incumbency gets special preference, Biden is the candidate people have to unite around. The Democrats wanted to avoid a primary that would weaken Joe’s ability to fight Trump. Any third party candidate is more likely to steal votes from Biden than Trump – maybe RFK Jr. can pick off a few antivaxxers who think Trump is too liberal on vaccines, but for the most part any third party challenge (Liz Cheney? Joe Manchin?) will just hurt Joe and re-crown Trump. If we did not have a First Past the Post system where we only get one vote, as many alternative candidates as want to run could enter without causing a spoiler effect. We could vote for (or rank) all the candidates we support or at least don’t oppose and we wouldn’t need to rely on whoever the parties have settled for as their nominee.

We let Dark money into our political system. Which turned those jobs in Congress into lifetime appointments. I have been watching the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this same people screw this nation up for over 40 years now. I’m tired of hearing Lindsey Graham say one thing on Monday , then go to Maralago on Tuesday , Wednesday & Thursday and on Friday Lindsey Graham would walk back what he said and end up just kissing one man’s ass. Because Biden is (D)ifferent, he is still functioning at high level although for some reason it is not yet captured on camera. Before Covid, back in 2019, the democrats didn’t really expect to win against Trump. Thus, Biden was nominated as a placeholder, because the real election was supposed to be 2024. Unfortunately, implementing chinese-style lockdowns became incredibly popular during the pandemic, crashing the economy, thus removing Trump’s main selling point. Now, Biden is in office, and nobody dares to remove him, because if they’d do, they’d get Kamala Harris instead. Because if the parties put someone younger in office, things will change. Their benefactors won’t appreciate that.
If “We The People” would stop electing the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this same old idiots over and over, then we could get things done, but that won’t happen. If you’re liberal, would you vote Vivek over Biden? If you’re conservative, would you vote AOC over Trump? Assuming the answer is no, you’re part of the reason. People care way more about effectuating their policy goals than age, and older people have name recognition as well as coalitions built that cause them to be extremely effective, even if their personal cognitive abilities aren’t at 100%. Old people running the country will stop when people care about that and are willing to vote for people with an opposing ideology to them that is young, that is to say probably never.

They have mandatory minimum ages to serve but no mandatory requirement age to retire. The median age of America is around 40yo. The life experiences of a 40 yo is much different than those over 75yo. All politicians should have a mandatory retirement age of 65yo. Turning 65 while serving would just mean they wouldn’t be eligible for reelection. All federal judges should retire at 70 yo. This includes SCOTUS. Because there is an attitude within the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this two party system of you have to wait your turn. And we don’t have term limits for Senators and Congressmen so we have all these people that have been in there forever waiting for their turn and it takes forever so they get old and then we get geriatrics fighting to be president.
Fun fact: Of the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this 46 Presidents so far, only 12 have been over 60 when elected. Trump and Biden are the only Presidents who were elected over the age of 70 (70 and 78 respectively), but Reagan got close at just shy of 70 by like a month; Clinton was 46, Bush II was 54, and Obama was 47. Generally speaking, it’s considered good to have practical experience in politics when you’re running for high office. Most people don’t want some rando walking off the street to be a Senator, they’d prefer someone who at least has some experience with the legal system and Washington. Only in politics can “Relevant experience in the industry” be considered bad, and given term lengths having high office holders be pretty old makes sense. Most people wouldn’t elect a random 20 year old for Senate (in fact you have to be 35 to even run for President), so if you start at around 40 (a lot of politicians usually have a law degree) then a few terms as governor or Representative can easily add up especially if you started in even lower offices like city council, county management, or state government.
Secondly, there’s a sort of “All of Congress is bad except my guy” bias. Approval ratings for Congress as a whole are usually in the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this gutter, but approval ratings among individual Congressmen in their respective districts are much higher; they have to be, they get re-elected, that’s how elections work. When Johnny McFuckface in Montana gets $50M for a bridge in Bumfuck, Nowhere then it’s a clear waste of federal funding for everyone except the guys in the great town of Bumfuck… and only Bumfuck residents matter for re-election. Thirdly, there is also a prominent “I’ve heard of that name before” bias (like, say, being a host of a TV show and having your one serious skill be promoting your own brand which is your own last name). Most people are pretty low-information when it comes to politics, and this is more pronounced the further away you get from the Presidency (and even then the amount of people who have no idea what even their preferred candidate feels about anything is ludicrous). The incumbency bias is pretty strong in part because the incumbent is a name that voters have heard of; when I voted in the last election, I couldn’t tell you who was on the school board in my town.
Because those are the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this people chosen by the people who are actually running things, like the oligarchs and the bureaucrats in the parties. They don’t care if Biden, for example, does his job well or is popular. They just know that he is their friend and will protect their interests. When they find politicians like that, they hold onto them forever. And thanks to the “blue no matter who” voters and their counterparts on the right, the people in power know that literally any candidate they give us will get the votes as long as they have the right letter and color next to their name. So they pick the ones whom they control. There is a lot of cynicism in here, but the honest to god reason is that Gen X just didn’t produce good politicians that can run for office.
You see spans like this, now Millennials and Gen Z are starting to run for things and they seem to have a serious group among them, and we will probably see a Millennial president in 2028. Because those people aren’t in charge they’re just a front to make us feel like we have a democracy. This is a corporate oligarchy run for the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this benefit of capitalists. The people in charge aren’t elected. People vote for who they know for their entire lives and seniors who no longer work are much more involved in politics then the younger generations before them so the cycle continues. Most 35 year olds have not yet built up the massive infrastructure, resume, power base, and network required to mount a successful presidential campaign. It takes time, and that’s why leaders are older.
Not sure why it’s a big deal. Fortune 500 CEOs are also usually people in their 50s and 60s. We don’t just hand the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this keys to folks straight out of college. It seems voters are eager to just reelect someone due to name recognition or? I heard a pun that old guys can either work as a Walmart greeter or president of the United States (or Senator/Representative); pretty pathetic really because it resembles the truth Well, if they are mentally adept, who cares? I’d rather have someone older and wiser than young and naive. Maybe we will one day we will get someone who is young and wise. 😉 The corporations that have been bribing people like Biden and McConnell since the 70s want to maximize the value of the bribes
Most young people in the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this United States don’t vote. Fewer than half of Americans 18 to 29 voted in the 2016 presidential election. The old presidents are pretty recent in the US. Prior to that we had 24 years of relatively young presidents. Clinton was pretty young, he was 46. GWB was pretty young as well at 54. Obama was young at 47. This shit goes in cycles. There’s no trend towards older candidates. It’s whoever is basically available at the right time. I have always said wisdom does not come with age it comes with experience…Older doesn’t make you smarter, just set in your ways. Most Presidents of the past 100 years have not actually been *that* old, it’s a relatively recent accident with Trump and Biden. Yes Reagan and Bush 1 were in their 60’s when in office but that’s not super duper old. Obama, Bush 2, Clinton, Carter, Ford, Nixon, LBJ, Kennedy were not super old. Eisenhower was in his 60’s which isn’t super old either. Most US president are in their 50’s and 60’s when in office which isn’t really that old when considering the authority of the office. Mostly just recent chance with Trump and Biden. By 2028 I think we’ll have another long string of 50 and 60 something Presidents. Old people have time to vote and vote for old people. Old people have had time to build a reputation and power that it takes to get put into those positions, and no elected representative ever is going to vote on term limits as it limits their career I mean it is an annoying thing. Generally we see older people as wiser, but being president is one place where we don’t need old school people as the eras they grew up in are now outdated. I’m sure if the younger start to out number the older, we may see younger people running and winning.
There are people who are at the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this top levels as figureheads who may be old, but the majority of the current administration is appropriate age and is sharp
“It’s okay to break the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this law (for the rich) in real estate because we all do it. It’s why we are wealthy because the law doesn’t apply to us. Why is this news?” Said every Rich person. No! He’s admitting how widespread the crime is! “We all do it” has never been considered a good legal defense. Outside of our Gun Laws When you have to defend something as “regular” but unethical, You’re just oozing your own projection of the topic. To those of you trying to point out a difference in his word-usage, that he said “regular” and not unethical, or whatever, have to realize: ethics and morals have no place in business. He couldn’t care less under any circumstances, besides maybe giving him a real opportunity to make really good passive income. He lives in the world of big money.
I actually think he’s probably telling the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this truth. A lot of these shady developers have been cashing out loans as profit by continually overstating their valuations. They don’t care if the buildings or houses are sitting empty, it’s all about ringing that bell by borrowing more and more. Everyone is screaming that loans are going to start falling through, but that’s actually a good thing. If these developers start going belly up then those buildings will start reflecting some nonfictional rate, and perhaps, just perhaps real estate will start selling on the market with some semblance of reality. Sounds like he’s admitting to fraudulent business practices, looks like Leticia James has found her next target
So what I’m getting is you can falsify your income and assets on loan docs and it’s the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this banks fault for not catching you lied. Crazytown Not saying it’s right but the more I look into evaluations the more I see evidence that Mr. Awful is correct in this statement. I hate Trump but even his creditors agreed that it was normal behavior, on record. I hope he and other leeches luke him will get investigated and prosecuted for any crimes they committed. It’s time to go after the sharks out there ruining it for the rest of us. Or maybe he realizes this legal stuff is all a witch hunt unfairly targeting Trump. If you can’t see how these charges and lawsuits are politically motivated, then you’re blind.
True dat! Round up all the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this rest of them then and make them stay out of the taxpayer’s pockets with their falsifications and non-taxpaying. I used to work in real estate development and this is NOT normal behavior for developers. I had several clients with net worths of $10’s of millions, a few with $100’s of millions, and one with a couple billion net worth. ALL of them put together very detailed proformas for their projects that they would submit to their banking partners to evaluate for financing. The proformas included detailed information on comparable rents in the area, along with occupancy rates of those comparable properties. Based on the expected occupancy and rental rates, they would then use sales comps of similar properties and cap rates to determine what the value of their project should be once complete and rented at the market standard for vacancy. They also had management companies with contracted rates as to what it would cost to manage and operate their property. All of the info for rental rates, occupancy rates, and cap rates on recent sales were sourced from third party consultants.
That’s why everyone in real-estate in New York are freaking out. They set the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this precedent that everyone in real-estate is committing a crime rofl. “If we can’t file fraudulent financial documents, how will we be successful!” is more of an indictment against yourself than the legal system. This is true. It is ridiculous that it took the level of scrutiny for a president of the united states for a regular shitty real estate and construction slimeball to get what he had coming. I hope the rest of them are getting nervous! I’m torn on this one. My city is absolutely booming right now and I’m getting calls every day from friends who are planning to exit NY as soon as possible, so for me and my circle this is the biggest business opportunity of our lifetimes. The talent influx is going to be absolutely astonishing for a city already crushing it in the tech sector.
On the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this flip side, as someone who deals with banks on a daily basis and who has quite a lot of experience in how banks actually operate, it’s sad to see the legal system abused like this. I’m not a fan of Donald Trump and would frankly prefer Kennedy but I am a firm believer that the legal system should be fair and equitable and watching it be raped like this is very disturbing. It’s also a ton of work. Reincorporating every company and sub-entity that is currently incorporated in Delaware is just a bear. Moving loans away from NY nexus banks is also a pain – particularly after moving treasury relationships out of California last year when SVB imploded. I also feel bad in a way for the people in NYC who are in support roles who are going to lose their livelihoods as those jobs are easily replaced by existing people in Florida and Texas. But this was inevitable and this turn of events is really more an acceleration more than anything. I remember a little over two years ago Nvidia executives telling me that they were building a massive lab at the University of Florida. I was surprised – I would have expected it to be at Stanford or MIT. They said Florida was going to be the nexus of AI tech, more than California, in the next decade. They were right. I imagine Me Wonderful would be ok with investing is a shark tank company who cooked the books like trump did to the banks.
I wrote into O’Leary Ventures & Shark Tank at how offensive his interview was. And how I hope Ms. James saw it because he sounds like he committed fraud. He’s right. There were no victims here. The loans were all satisfied and the Chicago White Sox legend players 125 years 1900 2025 shirt in addition I really love this banks had no complaints. The real estate values used do not seem inflated at all given comps at the time. Then he should not have run for office. The industry is outrageously corrupt (to his point, it has been for decades) and needs this long overdue scrutiny. So Shark Tank star invites investigators to start looking at his books for the fraud he just admitted was “practice” ok fine by me lets take your “hard earned” money too One can only hope the authorities are investigating this individual as carefully and exhaustively as they investigated former President Trump. Fuckin’ O’Leary, man. He’s like Canada’s Trump – same aggressive self-promotional huckster bullshit, but with better hair, more taste, and, obviously, more politeness. I remember a Louis Rossman video where he was shopping for a new place and every place he went to was smaller than what the realtor said it was and very fucking expensive. The agents themselves said it was normal practice to inflate the values of the property. It was one of the reasons Rossman left the city.
