Based Chad. My mother was also verbally abusive concerning my sexuality because I wasn’t interested in girls until I was in high school and it really is damaging, I could only imagine if I was actually gay the Cheech Chong 420 Smoke Shirt besides I will buy this abuse probably wouldn’t have stopped so I’m glad he feels comfortable enough to come out and I hope it helps people out there to have representation. Happy he made it through all this shit, considering how the gaming culture is (there is also good people in there, but you know…) Having the support of your family & friends is the most important, ignore the others. Of course the gaming industry comes off as homophobic. Growing up in the 90s and even early 2000s you could make fun people being gay. Just look at Friends. There are multiple episodes that don’t hold us today because of this. And as kids mainly boys kids talked like this and the same way that children call each other names that they heard their older brothers saying it just continued and it has become a vacuum and you only grow when you still outside of the toxic gaming community. So the people who came up in the industry and are still in the industry 10-20 years after they started gaming of course the culture hasn’t changed Bro this is SO cool. After just 15 years of LoL esports there‘s already more gay people that came out than in a century of football / soccer.

I’m so happy he can be himself proudly and publicly – and that he has a support system that makes him feel like he belongs. The rampant homophobia and slurs in gaming (and just young male culture in general) really sucks. Hope this has a positive effect and makes people more self-aware and kind to each other. I’m so happy for him that he feels comfortable enough to come out. His experience with staff and teammates being homophobic is extremely worrying though, this is not ok. I hope Riot looks into this. I think people need to really open their eyes to some of the Cheech Chong 420 Smoke Shirt besides I will buy this statements in here, everhone just supporting but doesn’t feel like everyone actually read it. In multiple scenarios Biofrost has felt so uncomfortable(for lack of a better, more severe word) he was afraid to LOSE HIS JOB if it came out he was gay. In 2022(probably not this recently but still. When? 2015 onwards is still fucking insane). The gaming industry, especially especially especially Esports, really needs to take a look at the open homophobia that is allowed and accepted.
