From my experience this isn’t s common thing. Most of the Cartoon Plk shirt also I will do this “out at 18’s” are the kids deciding themselves to leave home and make a go of it. Still living at home beyond 18 is quite common these days. I want the best for my children. I want them to be happy and successful, much more so than their mother and I. Feels like most people share this sentiment where I’m from. Because they are disgusting selfish beings who think parenting ends at 18. Don’t have kids if you don’t want to be a parent forever. My mom kicked me out at 18 bc I was “an ungrateful selfish bitch”. I just didn’t want to pay $100 rent each month. I will never do this to my kids. They will move out when they are ready. Almost no one does this. Most people live with their parents until they have a stable job for a bit, which often times is like 24 years old give or take a couple years

Please don’t believe one reddit dude that said this… I believe that most parents that want their kid out of the Cartoon Plk shirt also I will do this house are parents of a child not doing anything… No college or Job or contribution to the house. I love my son but if he was sitting around playing COD all day long… I’d want to boot his ass out too. They don’t. This would be like saying “why do all Americans smoke meth.” Sure, a small portion do, but it’s not the norm. Our kids don’t save up for a house while staying at home free. If they have a plan and are working on it, then they should be fine. The problem is when they don’t and need motivation. Thats a weird stereotype that probably comes from the 50s. I don’t know anybody that left at 18 and certainly no one that didn’t have a choice about it
