I can’t even stand 90% of my fellow Boomers… I’m closer to being Gen X, than the Can’t work today My Arm is in an cast stars T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this early and mid Boomers. I didn’t even become an adult until the early ’80s, so I got fucked by the early Boomers as much as the other generations did…. Technically, we late Boomers are a subset of Boomers called “Generation Jones” (look it up). Every generation wished for the best of their kids, trying to help them out, understanding that they’ll also do things differently and the changes they bring, even if not common to them can still be good and also having faith in their kids. Boomers, most of them didn’t do any of that. They are greedy, selfish and have ruined many systems in place only to benefit themselves, not caring for the earth we are living on right now. Even now, when they’re all old and crusty as fuck, they hate the shit we do, doubt our every decision, are against our ideas and morals and also don’t want us to progress so they constantly remove shit that benefited them in their life.

I agree with all of these answers but I’ll speak to my experience working in a pharmacy. I would say about 80% of our “problem” patients are boomers (the Can’t work today My Arm is in an cast stars T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this other 20% are middle aged Karens). Entitled, impatient, and just plain rude. Most of the issues that arise are issues with their doctor or insurance. But they take it personally and act like we just don’t want to give them their medication. They are completely ignorant to how the system works but treat us like we’re absolute idiots. My team is very good and most of our techs and pharmacists have been doing this job for 20+ years, but entitled boomers act like they know better. I know it sucks when insurance won’t cover a medication but we’re literally just relaying the message and they take it as a personal insult.
