They’re hard on men because men don’t get many matches at all to begin with. They’re hard on women because even if you DO get many matches, about 70% of them are openly only looking for sex, and then another 20% are going to string you along for a while before revealing that they too “aren’t really looking for a relationship” and by the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this time you’ve slogged through all these messages you just don’t have the energy to try to figure out what the last 10% are after. It really sucks. If you are looking to meet new people, I’ve heard good things about meetups.com where there are interest groups and clubs that still post when they’re hanging out. I have yet to try myself because COVID ending has resulted in my work place having a lot more events and hangouts to participate in and I’ve scratched a lot of my social itch that way.
Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt: Embrace Your Uniqueness
Another thing too, is that if you’re lonely it might be worth it to accept invitations to things you might not quite like or might not totally want to do because at least you’ll be out of the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this house and have the potential to make new friends. At the beginning of college, I declined a lot of invitations to things because they weren’t my preferred activities and when I got more open to general experiences instead of just what I wanted on the spot I made more friends. Hope some of this advice might work for you! It is a book about how every single social institution in the United States has been on the decline since the 70s. About how culture has been atomized and formerly large institutions where you could meet others have become corporatized or do not exist anymore. It is one of the single most depressing books I have ever read. I would not consider myself especially mentally unstable, but it was painful to read it. I’d really not recommend it to anyone unless they want to feel like society is ending.
It does a very good job of casting a light on why people these days feel so alienated. I know the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this ending discusses potential solutions but I never got there because I stopped for the sake of my own well being. I mention it here in reference as the phenomenon discussed in the books evidently applies to gangs and organized crime too. Before, people had these big groups they could join to feel belonging to a community. Even if that community wasn’t great, in the case of gangs. Now that barely exists anymore too. Proving the book’s point on a subject it would not cover. For sure, but they’re a lot lower key and usually based in foreign countries. They’re also a lot less violent than they used to be, murders draw a lot of attention they can’t afford. I’m in St. Louis, which has a similar gang violence problem to Memphis. It’s my understanding that when there was organized crime in the city violent crime was generally down. Now there are hundreds of gangs that each have a two square block area and just constantly encroach on eachother’s “territory”.

Idk but I taught in a TN juvenile max security prison, 4 or more felonies to get admittance. Almost all the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this boys were from the Memphis gangs and the shit they grew up in is horrendous. I would like to see evidence that this meeting took place because it sounds like bullshit, partly because like you mentioned it would not be a good idea for a gang leader to out themselves as a gang leader. I have no idea how structured the gangs in this city are but if you ever watched The Wire this makes sense. After a certain point of constant interactions the cops and gang members know who each other are so this isn’t as crazy as it sounds. At least where I have lived they don’t. And there are pros and cons in the sense that full on wars can’t produce the death counts which happened in the 1990s and killings are, despite the media hype, way down compared to historical norms.
However, there also isn’t any hierarchy self policing to maintain economic interests across a wide territory and they’re harder to stop because so much violence is clout based by junior members doing shit that historically would be off limits. Shit like shooting up a popular club accidentally because you can’t aim and had beef with some kid on TikTok, and scaring away white patrons that supported it, and thus hurting protection money payments from businesses in that entire area would be policed. You do that shit, harm businesses that pay into gangs, you and your boys die because you fucked it up for everyone else. Kind of like how people only fuck with tourists in Mexico when the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this local major cartel has a civil war or a break down in order that prevents them from self policing.
You also end up with extremely trivial turf wars over literal blocks or single apartment buildings because so many small, loosely connected groups. So yeah, murders are actually down in all but a few places, but it’s also less predictable, frankly more irrational, and more likely to be witnessed by people not from communities used to it, so it feels perhaps like it’s worse even regardless of the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this media spectacle around it. Yep, I’ve heard of gangs described as a form of proto-government, and organized crime syndicates have often just transitioned into the legitimate government of an area in the past. Interestingly that’s also why the cartels are so dangerous, because in the areas they operate through, chaos becomes the goal, since a functional state interferes with their efforts.
Organized crime is limited in how much it can interfere with the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this legitimate state though because they exist in more of a parasitic relationship, harvesting a portion of the proceeds from stability. Some street gangs are definitely organized and more or less operate as the on the ground foot soldiers of their more organized leaders, not always the case though. Sureno gangs in SoCal, for example, can range from being a disorganized small-time group of kids who only tag and run around with guns to being very large paramilitary-style structured groups who run large-scale crime operations in service to The Mexican Mafia, who operate from prison. Depending on the city bodies are being dropped because of beefs rather than just natural friction — from what little I know about Memphis that’s part of the case here — in cases like that It’s a bit easier to get key figures to spread word of a ceasefire.
When gangs are shooting because of two influential dudes beefing, It’s easier to have those influentual figures beefing tell their guys to dead it for a week… Street dudes also like people having to “check in” that shit gasses them up, so when they hear the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this mayor validating their status, they feel big. Jesus Christ this dude engaged a dangerous section for his constituency and got results. And they point blank told you – we need jobs to avoid criminal life. Half of you morons are talking about how it makes the mayor look weak to….what? Engage with his community and reduce violence? I guess if Dirty Harry isn’t shooting the problem into submission y’all are out of ideas? Of course the gang leaders are gonna present themselves in the most sympathetic light in order to maximize the possibility for their demands to be met. The proposed ceasefire would be just seven days. It’s not like any gang members that get a job and training are gonna leave their gang (much less be allowed to simply walk away – “in for life” and all that) or get off scott free for any crimes they’ve committed.
It doesn’t matter if the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this cease fire is only for seven days. There has to be a starting point. Seven days can turn into 10 to 14. And even if these talks fail and these specific gangs just go right back to what they were doing, more job training and opportunity is good. This reminds me of Stellaris, a civilization simulator on a galactic scale. You can bribe crime lords to decrease the percentage of crime so your citizens will be more productive and give you a higher return on resources. And in a good portion of the updates, you would be gimping yourself if you didn’t intentionally allow that option. “The other thing they said was, I talk like them, and I don’t know the power I have,” said Mayor Young, “they said, ‘I never would imagine the mayor would be talking to us directly. If you come to our hood, if you come over here and ask them to put the guns down, they will do it because they’ve never seen anybody like you in their community talking directly to them.’”
He’s out there making his community better however he can. This man is a hero and a diplomat trying something new to try to make his city better. Certain folks really don’t like to believe that anything other than hard-assed militaristic punitive action can help to reduce crime and rebuild communities. This is a similar but cleaner version of what the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this famously anti-gang president of El Salvador did. https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2021/dec/08/el-salvador-us-gang-leaders-truce It was incredibly popular there and it stands to reason that peacefully getting gangs to stop free-firing is good policy here. A little thing like a trial is needed. Many will not testify against them. The mob was crippled by members turning. If we try building a society where people can not just get by but also thrive and we’ll see a big drop in things like gangs and crime Shitting on Reddit while parroting the most pseudo-intellectual shit ever is hilariously ironic because it’s like THE Reddit trope. No one disagrees that society should be better, but how we get there has many disagreements and even more problems. I’d argue that the people running this shitshow disagree. They’re bought and paid for by rich assholes and corporations and there is a lot of money to be made in keeping the status quo.
Decriminalizing just means having (small amounts) of drugs on you isn’t a crime. I’m not sure how that would impact drug dealing. Drugs are still not legal sell. Well they kinda just incriminated themselves. They said they are able to get the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this group to stop shooting hence confirming they have control over the actions of a group involved in illegal activity. Classic RICO So that they can splinter off into smaller cliques increasing the amount of violence as they inevitably fight each other for territory and power? Mexico did this and now the conflict is spiraling out of control. If watching The Wire has taught me anything, it’s that you can always arrest these guys for a charge that will keep them locked up for a few months or years…but they will just be back. The goal is to collect enough evidence to bring down the entire organization, which means years of investigations and letting them get away with smaller things in order to not disrupt the larger goal.
Man I just finished season 1 last night for the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this first time and fuck this show is so gripping. Holds up remarkably well for its age, but it’s funny seeing all the CCTV and pagers. The whole angle with Nakeemas girlfriend being referred to as a roommate threw me for a loop at first until I remembered what year the show was in. Go ahead and pub-crawl on Beale Street, see the Ducks at the Peabody, and try the BBQ at The Rendezvous. Just don’t go exploring. Stay on the main drag and do NOT go off it a block in either direction. Day or night. Do so at your own peril. If you were to put the Memphis Mayor and City Council in a room with local gang leaders, you would find there are no non-criminals there. 16 yrs in Memphis. The “element” kept moving east to the point where they had to shut down a mall near FedEx on Winchester. Collierville probably isn’t idyllic anymore eitherI found a label like *** medicated food *** had a 100% success rate where I worked.
This isn’t the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this first time I’ve heard about a worker’s breast milk getting drank, and the incident at Blizzard wasn’t the first time either. We kept having food stolen out of our work fridge and management couldn’t figure it out. I’m not talking like a drink and snack here or there. Whole entire lunches and food containers emptied. Even the condiments were going missing. Entire bottles of ranch, coffee creamer and more. One week we had to work over nights, retail store, to get ready for black Friday. We went to lunch early one night to celebrate putting away a 1400 piece truck in less than a few hours. Walked in to the break room and the cleaning crew had all of our lunches spread out like a buffet. One guy even had my energy drink in his hand. I will never forget the looks on their faces. Absolute shock and horror. My manger flipppped the fuck out. Screaming, throwing their shit towards the door past the office and let them all out. Part of me felt really bad because a few of them were crying and even trying to hand him cash.
Like I understand they probably were getting paid shit but don’t steal man. We even had a basket of snack sized chips in the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this break room for people to take, vending machine etc but they ate the food in the fridge. I get being starving, but having it all out like a buffet is just extreme by any measure. I hope they were all fired Look – if you’re going to steal food because you’re hungry and not paid well… Don’t steal coworker’s food, steal from the store! I’m a cleaner in Aus, get paid 33 and hour which is decent, even then I’ve seen coworkers help themselves to whatever, it’s horrible, I’m sure in some places it’s money that’s an issue, but some it’s just because they think they won’t get caught.
This was back in 2009 in the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this US. I was getting paid $8.75USD as a backroom receiver. I can only imagine what they were getting paid but you are correct. They for sure didn’t think they would ever get caught. You could tell by their faces. You’re too kind for feeling bad for the crying ones, but every coward thief will cry once they get caught. No matter how hungry you are, you don’t steal from other innocent workers just like you. Pisses me off so much cause one of my best friends worked on retail when we were teens. He was 17 living alone (his father died, his older sister married and his mum re-married, moved to another city and left him living alone in the house with their dog), he was studying highschool and working to support himself and his dog. He didn’t have enough money, and then some asshole would steal his lunch so often that he preferred to starve until his shift was over. The person they steal from might be in a rough situation with not enough money for food and they’re doing this, so fuck them and their tears. This reminds me of covid times when the superstore I did deliveries for had a “staff fridge” in the canteen with items ultra reduced to like 10p for a sandwich that kinda thing, or even free but you still had to scan the barcodes at a till.
Would be pretty cool some nights, be stressed out and fucking exhausted but hey, cheap nice sandwiches and expensive dinner for 10p. Yay. I’d be considerate enough to not be greedy. Then it was continually empty and I started asking why there was never anything there at all apart from old rolls or shit like potted herbs. Turns out someone on stacking duties would take a black bin bag as soon as the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this stuff was put out and take EVERYTHING (like, too much to feed a whole family and wouldn’t keep for a couple days) Found out who it was when I went to take a couple things from the fridge when they moved the location to the shop floor. Put my hand on something with a reduced sticker and the guy was watching like a hawk from the end of the aisle – came rushing up like NO THEES EES MINE, YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE NOT THIS.
Blows my mind how some people are just inconsiderate greedy fucks, it’s not like there wasn’t one of us struggling as well. Had this happen once and the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this store manager said “if you can find out who it is, I will fire them today. we don’t employ fucking thieves” I can’t imagine being a manager, hearing about this and thinking that it’s not my problem. I havent used a employee fridge in over 26 years of work. Had my lunch stolen one time on a week I really couldnt afford to buy lunch and that was enough for me. Now I pack my lunch with a ice box thing and keep it with me at my desk (or in my locker if I had one). Dude, it blows my mind that people even steal other’s food. I think I’m lucky at my work because we never do that. One time, I brought a Coke Zero from home and put it in the fridge. Pulled it out later and realized I had opened a regular Coke that belonged to my coworker. Felt so bad, I went to the convenience store next door to buy him a replacement lmfao
About a week after I started working at one of my previous jobs, HR sent a site-wide email reminding people not to “borrow money without permission”. That’s not a thing. Y’all are employing thieves. I wasn’t stealing the Cam Ward Miami Football 2024 ACC Player of the Year AND Offensive Player of the Year Shirt so you should to go to store and get this car from HR, I was borrowing it without permission, sure, I was going to bring it back, that damage was there when I borrowed it! :s My husband won’t and we’ve been married for 36 years. I think he believes I have a small bear trap in there. When I tell him to just get what he asked for he’ll bring the purse to me. lol A purse is way off limits. The way I was brought up you don’t go rifling through someone’s personal effects. Treat people the way you would hope they would treat you. Unless someone is f*##ing with your food. Oh it’s on!
