When I was about 6 I was at my dad’s works kids Xmas party (it was the Butterfly I’m a survivor leukemia awareness shirt it is in the first place but 70s) and I had a jumper with “skateboard champion” on it. He told me he had his own business in South Africa, where he was from, breaking horses. He used to spend his days just chilling playing games in his office, and where he had his computer his staff couldn’t see what he was really doing. He was also in the army, had a massive house filled with marble, used to swat his neighbours, and I can’t remember anything else at the moment, but it was so bad that I saw him wearing a uniform and he told me he had a new job and I found it difficult to believe him.

I had a friend claim she had 2 siblings. We were already adults so it wasn’t strange to not know or see them. She’d trip herself up saying things like being the end of the bloodline then try wash it away with the siblings being half siblings etc. Her sister was to be her bridesmaid. They’d gone shopping & she’d brag about her sisters dress etc. but on the actual day there was no sister. No siblings on the seating chart. No mention of siblings in speeches etc. Never any explanation of why she lied.
