Every single time I see a post like this, it’s always such a dumbass task. Like, do teachers in the Burnt Out But Optimistic Vintage Sunset shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this US really fill their exams with such dumb assignments all the time, is it just some outliers or is it all fake? We had a multiple choice quiz with the instruction: check two answers. After someone pointed out it never stated it had to be the right answers the teacher just gave everyone 100% on this I keep seeing this post and people saying it’s unfair, but I never see anyone comment about how the kid can just copy the words from the question. Feel free to let me know if I’m stupid You are not. Came here to say the same. And, the people downvoting lack the comprehension skills to understand that copying the first 7 words off the question is not the same as knowing how to spell those words on your own. It’s also not cute, clever, or even close to being “technically” true.

It doesn’t belong in this sub, but the Burnt Out But Optimistic Vintage Sunset shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this instructions don’t indicate any rules on which words you put down. He did technically spell 10 words correctly. ~Announcer~ And here we have a future member of the E4 Mafia in their natural habitat. Note the snort gigging of the teacher! Notice, that the task does not require you to spell the word right, as it says “words I CAN spell right are:”. I can spell all words right. There are no words that are impossible to spell right. That teacher is lucky that’s not my kid’s paper. I’d have had a nice chat about how all ten words are correctly spelled and the appropriate grade is 10/10 Every good test taker knows how to use information the test provides. The student was exploiting a loophole that the teacher had provided. They could have simply given them a paper with 10 lines and asked them to write 10 words they know, as well as their name, on the paper. By using written instructions, you are allowing this to take place. If I was a parent, I’d take this all the way to the principal and make a huge stink about it. Penalizing a student who applied critical thinking, which is a life valuable skill, and in doing so, unintentionally made transparent the poor thought process of the teacher such that he/she chose to take it out on the student is a terrible standard to set and allow.
