Hire more teachers. Hire more aides. Invest in buildings that have heating, air conditioning, proper lighting, etc. But I think a lot of the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this issues come from socioeconomic inequality and inequity generally, and an erosion of community generally in ways that aren’t obviously linked with schools. If you’re looking for a solution, I’d personally start with advocating for “third spaces” in your local municipality or county. NIMBYs aside, it’s not a particularly political or contentious issue but third spaces provide a ton of benefits for kids especially. I can think of all of possible small fixes–re-involving parents, exposing students to the world earlier, no more for-profit education, smaller classrooms and/or more professionals in the classroom–but, end of the day, nothing about America really allows for any changes to be more than piecemeal without an American society that FULLY–not just loudly–knows that education is a requirement for keeping this thing running, full stop.
Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style
Don’t bring a child into this world if you cannot afford to or are not willing to be a consistent, focused parent. I really want kids one day, but I can’t afford them yet. I think men do have thicker skin and have their fat concentrated in the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this belly more than in other parts of the body It’s because you’re only feeling it from the outside. If you touch your own skin you’re feeling in from the outside AND the inside. Real answer: body hair makes skin feel rougher, it’s the (lack of)hair you’re feeling. Ever tried massageing a mans legs? Feels like you’re grating your hands eventually. Also lotion and lack of muscle for example. Like the way insulin changes throughout the day and based on what you eat. I’m not familiar enough with other hormones to know if there were some nuances to how they work. Like the way cortisol will change based on stress and women’s hormones change throughout the month. I don’t really know what it’s like for men. Just don’t end up like that guy from Of Mice And Men who keeps his hand in a glove. The chicks dig your chapped and cracked hands, shows you know how to use em, makes em look strong. Because girls are made of sugar and spice and all things nice while boys are made of slugs and snails and puppy dog tails. I double cleanse in the shower woth a bar soap and bodywash, I shave amd I have ehlers danlos syndrome which gives me smooth velvety skin
On top of the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this effects of estrogen, its also because your skin is very sensitive. The sensation of another’s skin will seem very soft and nice especially if you like that person, if they are relatively young and aren’t growing stubble. We are also under high selection pressure to find intimacy with a partner rewarding, so skin-to-skin contact is going to come with all kinds of nice feedback with the right person Your skin is also probably soft if you’re hydrated, bathe regularly and moisturize (bonus softness if you exfoliate). My wife tells me my skin is insanely soft but my skin doesn’t feel that soft to me. Likewise her skin feels crazy soft to me, yet to her, her own skin feels nondescript

Idk Im a dude and I’ve been told I have really soft skin which is usually followed by “just like a girl” so there’s that I guess My skin has always been soft even devoid of lotion, exfoliation, and adequate hydration. I think it’s just a girl thing. I think estrogen is a huge part of it because I never use lotions or skin care except bog standard cheap soap and I get this compliment a lot too. Definitely skincare. I like using body butters and my wife teases me sometimes that my skin is softer than hers. They have more fat distributed under their skin. Its why guys have their veins easily visible and women are soft to the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this touch even at similar low body fat % I think women naturally carry more fat due to the higher estrogen levels, too. I remember telling a fuck friend years ago she had nice ass skin, after saying it I thought in a different context this sounds very creepy Yes. Men and women have different skin structures. Men have a thicker epidermis (the outermost part) and more collagen. This typically means their skin is firmer to the touch. It’s from estrogen, and a layer of subcutaneous fat. That fat layer is why women’s arms don’t look as vascular as men’s.
I have super soft skin, even if I don’t moisturize. Just comes with being a woman. Moisturizer definitely does help though. As a man my skin is actually so soft that I use to think that women’s skin use to be too rough especially when we held hands ( this was before I started deadlifting and getting terrible callouses). Though it could just be genetics. I’m transgender, didn’t change how I took care of my skin at all, and my skin is significantly softer on estrogen than it was before. Nope! I’m a trans woman and can tell you that before my skin felt like it had a layer ontop of it that went away once I started taking Estrogen. I hated my skin before now it’s nice <3 It's estrogen, as a trans nb person once I started taking t blockers and estrogen my skin got soooo soft kinda weird how different it is everyone has made good points about estrogen and collagen structure, but also women tend to watch their diets and eat more vegetables than men (I know this is an overgeneralization don’t come at me). when I went vegan and started eating better my skin got wayyyyy softer. its because men's skin is thicker so it feels rougher than womens (I've heard from what tattoo artists say anyways) It’ll never feel the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this exact same but you can get closer by proper chemical exfoliation, quality moisturizer, sunscreen, night care routine, also no hot and/or long showers (this one hurts me the most lol).
48 more repliesWe need universal basic income, universal healthcare, or a child tax credit. At least one. Parents don’t have the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this time/money/energy to sit and read to their kids every night bc they’re too busy working around the clock to keep a roof over their kid’s head. Reading time at home should be required for every child, but it just isn’t practical for parents. Most Americans are one accident or illness away from being homeless. If we want parents to help out teachers, we need to help out parents. Stop blaming each other. It solves nothing. Community is the only way forward. We end capitalism. I wish I were kidding, but every part of this dilemma has a monetary incentive or disincentive attached to it. Social promotion keeps the numbers up and deters dropout rates. Asses in seats = dollars. Bad administrators will not rock any boats except for those subject to their whims in order to keep their 6 figure salaries. Bad teachers are protected by bad unions who exist to fight bad administration’s and keep salaries high. Poor districts will always be behind because no government can “afford” to right the massive monetary wrongs that created the poverty in the first place. Rich districts will always be ahead because money talks. I’d like to know, do these kids really understand that they’re significantly behind where they should be? Like do you tell them, “You’re 10 but you read like you’re 5.” Are they just oblivious to it, can they not conceptualize it? Or do they just not care in general? Aren’t they embarrassed to be so far behind in the absolute basics?
They are embarrassed to not have the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this latest shoes or phone. Knowledge is seen as something you can look up. It’s not cool to speak properly or to show respect to others. Restructure the way education is funded. Funding through property taxes and lotteries help rich schools get richer and make poor schools stay poor. I suggest a federal and state education tax, and the property taxes can go to the parks or something. Money directed to schools won’t be tied to test scores or any other factor like that, but the needs of the community and size of the school. Abolish elected school boards. Ignorant, malicious, and entitled parents are just as bad as the right-wing politicians. The only people running schools should be the teachers themselves and other relevant staff. And the only people determining the curriculum itself should be the teachers and experts. Community representation can come in the form of local psychologists, historians, etc. I think parents and students need a single representative each, but they need to be selected by the experts. All educational staff need to be unionized. Strike down (pun intended) the laws that forbid teachers and other public servants to organize and strike.
Take away educational autonomy from conservative states. To put it bluntly, Republicans cannot be trusted with education (and that’s me being nice). They’ve openly demonstrated their disdain for intellectualism as a whole and have made a vow to destroy public education if they have the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this chance; and replace it with segregation academies. It can be replaced with a federally-mandated curriculum based on that of the best-faring blue states. In general, when you make things better for families-education will improve. Parents need a support network. Subsidized childcare, universal healthcare, improving food deserts/swamps. Eliminating much of the restrictions on felons/ex-cons. A minimum of at least two adults per classroom. TA, ENL, Para, co-teacher, whatever. If it’s an ICT class, add an extra one. No more PDs, or at the very least ones that are done by pedagogues and not weird motivational speakers. No hate to the weird motivational speakers though, they’re doing a job just like we are. But we don’t need them.
More emphasis on philosophy, government, civics, and collective responsibility in classes. People need to learn that they’re not the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this center of the universe, and that rights come with obligations. Absolutely zero tolerance for any sort of bigoted language, harassment, or violence. The “Restorative Justice” initiatives in a lot of schools come from a genuinely good place, but they can’t work unless everyone is on board and perpetrators genuinely want to undo the harm they’ve caused. Teachers need to be allowed to fail students again. I’m grateful that my teachers in the past didn’t fail me, but because I was genuinely trying and struggling with an undiagnosed learning disability. If a student just isn’t putting in the effort, there’s no reason to pass them. I just came up with this idea, but I call it “house arrest”. This is mainly for gen-ed students. If a student gets caught with drugs, starts a fight, vandalizes school property, or threatens/assaults a teacher even once, the student will be barred from the physical school for the remainder of the year. They’ll Zoom into classes from then on, or until the “new board” deems them eligible to come back.
…teachers REFUSED to teach in-person during the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this pandemic even though it was required per their contracts – wondering if their selfishness had an effect??? Yes the teachers are supposed to get sick and potentially alter their lifelong health/die otherwise they’re selfish. Yup, that makes a lot of sense and is totally sane. It’s all their fault, definitely not the fault of our government, lack of funding, low pay and politicians using schools and education as a political tool to secure voter donations. I think teachers here have made it quite clear what needs to change. And stop trying to put it all on teachers. yet again. I’m not an admin, just a parent and someone interested in literacy. Not sure how you’re reading my post as putting it on teachers? The title looks like it was written by an admin who wants to blame teachers, and/or place the solution of wide societal issues on teachers. I’m sorry if it came across that way. “We” was meant to represent “We as a society”, and not “You as teachers”. As someone who has been working in secondary for a few years, it really has to be a whole community effort. The class sizes, lack of SpEd and language support, and pushing us to fundamentally change our teaching to new trends (right now, Kagan is all the rage), is preventing teachers from creating a realistic and stable curriculum to build off of in ways that will help more individual students. The trust between the community and teachers also needs to be rebuilt, especially in red states (like mine), where any teacher that challenges these more corporate ideologies is accused of horrendous ideals. One of my colleagues wore her teaching badge to vote for a bill that would help provide more staff for our students who need dramatically more support, and was accused of being a p×do by someone else in the voting line. We are schools, not businesses. We cannot be run like businesses.
Let the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this whole system fail and give itself a hard reset. Teachers need to stop worrying about these inadequate admin, kids with chronic behavior issues, work overload. Only work your contracted hours. Education has become toxic with parents failing their children and teaching their kids to undermine authority and all these inadequate admin just want to please them so they don’t ruffle feathers or are scared to say no to anything. Kids aren’t up to their grade level academically, teachers need to stop worrying that they aren’t. It’ll either break the system and chaos will start when it’s their time to be adults or it’ll reset itself. Every year some administrator thinks they have the solution for more student engagement, yet they always fall short because they too do not have the capacity to keep up whatever program they “designed.” Btw, I’m in education, not on the teaching side, but on the info systems side. The toxic environment does not only permeate the classroom. It is the same on the board level. Employees always complaining, yet they still stay?
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say get rid of fluorescent lights. I’ve read stuff about their effect on kids and a connection to autism and even if it seems a little off the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this wall, I say run with it. They say places with more natural light have lower rates of autism, and that the longer you can keep kids away from that type of lighting, the better it is for kids. Apparently babies are especially sensitive to the subtle flickering of the lights that are barely perceptible to adults. Seems like a small thing that could be very helpful. Follow up question: Is there a helpful role that technology can play in this? If so, how? (Aside from discouraging personal device use in class) Have nationwide NAEYC standards year round preschool for 3-5 year olds, with required parenting classes in early literacy and math lessons along with emotional regulation skills
I was reading in other countries kids have the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same teacher for several years in a row… instead of starting over new every year. Money. Pure and simple. You want better schools, teachers who care more about their work (and aren’t stretched too thin holding down 2 other gigs), and better communities? PAY US. I’ve been looking at job postings lately. $30/hr offered for teachers (masters preferred) for my in-demand area (STEM) in San Francisco!!! WTF. Are you kidding me? Who’s living on that in Iowa, let alone CA? Collectively, we are not pissed off enough about this. Sick of it. Love teaching, but the pay is absolutely demoralizing. Rant over. For us, we’re seeing a drop off in kids where they have 3rd Grade Math level and a 4th Grade Reading level. I think we need to have targeted interventions at the Elementary level and then more communication between schools. Teaching junior high for a long time there was zero communication or data from the lower levels. We started at guessing even with diagnostics and had no clue what was being done. Then moving to high school I saw there was even less communication from the junior high. The thing is we pay teachers on special assignment to be coaches for both K-5 and then 6-12. There is zero reason those teachers shouldn’t be guiding the instruction, showing where the gaps are and what the trends are to help bridge some of that. Instead everyone is reinventing the wheel at every transitional grade and it hasn’t worked in 20 years since I’ve been there. When you bring it up? It’s always “It’s a good idea, we’ll have to pass that along.”
Stop teaching what the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this school wants you to teach bc it cripples kids learning, teach what they need regardless of whether or not you get fired, that’s the only way to stop indoctrination and enslavement of feeble minds I’ve stayed in education for 5 years asking this same question. I see nobody is doing anything and I’m constantly the bad guy for having (well-stated) expectations, so I’m taking some time away, and I’m thrilled. How much of it is generational? Both of my high school zoomer cousins born to gen X helicopter parents are D students in high school. My sister in law teaches high school and is burnt out. These were parents who were adults when the internet went mainstream, and it is their kids who are zonked out on TikToks. My point is… will it just better as the pendulum swings back to the Boomer / Millennial/ Alpha generation and away from the Gen X / Zoomers?
more efficient distribution of resources in a school system and not reinventing the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this wheel because someone wrote a book and is doing speaking tours. Just a brief comment, as someone who gave birth relatively recently in WA. I was given an absolute tonne of handouts on the importance of reading at least 5 books a day to my child from birth. I was even given a hardcover book called baby ways (classic lol). Then every child health nurse visit this message was reiterated, with more handouts too. Now do I remember to read 5 books everyday? No – but it is in my mind, I do try. Rhyme time at the local library was really good too as it was at least a bit social. I’ve homeschooled from the start. When I had her tested, she was several grade levels ahead. Homeschool is obviously a privilege and not something everyone can or should do, but I find it “funny” how the general public will still think it is the lesser option.
The biggest problem is lack of discipline. If there are disruptions in class, no one is learning and it takes several minutes for students to get beyond the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this disruption and ready to learn again. Administrators think they are academic leaders and they are not. They are there to make sure the school and classes run smoothly and that is primarily handling disciplinary problems. Every teacher went to school to learn how to teach the subjects they are teaching and do not need administrators telling them how to teach. They need administrators to handle disruptive student situations so teachers can teach and students can learn, but they either don’t know how, don’t want to be bothered, are worried about the school’s discipline numbers, or all of the above. Small issues can and should be handled by the teacher, but anytime a student is interfering with the teacher’s ability to teach or other students’ ability to learn, that student needs to be removed or learning is not taking place. Once students know the admin is going to hold them accountable, regardless of what the numbers look like, behavior will improve. Kids are going to push the limits until the limits are enforced. The excuse of “well, if we remove the disruptive students they aren’t learning” Is BS. The truth is; If you don’t remove them, no one is learning, and the disruptive students aren’t learning anyway.
We’ve known for over 20 years what was needed to “fix” literacy, but special interests clung tight to balanced literacy and failed two decades worth of children for whom reading didn’t come naturally. Fortunately, the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this “science of reading” push is taking hold. Parent education–or at least parental accountability. If the parent had to show up to weekend school and watch their kid refuse to work or phone it in, that might spur some change. However, that absolutely would result in criticism considering that some parents work weekends/may not have transportation/economically can’t take the day off. I don’t care–these parents need some sort of wake up. Teachers cannot solve poverty and bad parenting.
The media and news needs to know about the Buffalo Bills Football Team shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this state of education. I’m not saying there’s a giant coordinated conspiracy but It feels like some how in the data collection process there’s something that allows for school not to report the data on a bunch of high risk students and violence in the classroom. Honestly, nothing short of fixing struggling communities will fix kids’ performance in their schools. And by “fixing,” I mean reversing socioeconomic harm brought by deindustrialisation and gutting a lot of social services back in the early 80s. You look at schools that are doing well and they’re almost universally in communities that are also doing well. Are there miracles happening in this or that particular school in a struggling neighborhood? Sure. But you won’t get improvement on a national scale without serious systemic change.
