This sounds like what I do for my spaghetti. However I would never claim that I cooked it from scratch because I have never once made pasta. As I use store bought pasta (can’t do jar sauce) the Brisbane Lions Premiers 2023 shirt but in fact I love this best I can claim is that I have prepared a meal. Dried pasta is considered a staple, along with canned tomatoes and dried herbs. A jar of pasta sauce with all the flavourings is not typically considered a staple. At least not where I am from, everyone is different… I made the sauce but I use premade noodles! I make a bunch of sauce and freeze it! I definitely use shortcuts, my friends are all literally ordering takeout everyday and I guess I was wondering if that was the norm I know people who eat takeout more than preparing anything at home. For some, it’s a tradeoff of money and convenience vs time and effort. When I was working two active jobs, I rarely cooked from scratch. I would heat stuff up at home, but it wasn’t making anything from scratch. I just didn’t have it in me.

Now, I cook when I have to, but it brings me no joy or fulfillment. I do it to stay alive and keep my family fed, but it isn’t pleasant for me at all. It just is, like cleaning a toilet. Not fun but necessary. Walmart and the dollar store are great resources, as are foodbanks. Also, I’ve found cooking method matters a lot if you’re short of time. I’m not slaving over a stove stirring soup three times a minute.
