We go to Hawaii once or twice a year and it is consistently a great vacation. It can be super cheap if you do it right. We paid $200 for round trip flights to Kona recently. I would say she will 75% of the way there but you can’t just shut everything down and then expect people to just catch up the next day. I think she will be mostly fine but especially socially not so much. The other one I didn’t expect was reading. My oldest was reading by this point. She isn’t because I thought I would have all day with her to do the sane stuff I did with him but when you are having to deal with school with him that meant I couldn’t be with her doing that stuff.
