Yes idk how people prefer english over their native language ,they can learn english by any means but it would always be foreign to that kids and they would feel left out when they meet people from their native ,people here in india do the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this same thing idk why I went to a day I went one Solo trip to Alibagh. During the Journey there was one mf who sat next to me in the Ferry. He immediately understand that I’m from South India and causally starred talking and dropping shit like Northern States far superior in India. After certain point I started asking serious questions comparing the Standards of TN. After sometime he couldn’t able to reply properly. He could have talked about, like what kind of place is Alibagh, what are main places to cover there, hotels, stays etc.
Books Shirt description
Indians think poilteness is a weakness & more like a stupidity. People who are loud & full of BS are considered “smart” I remember once a teacher in high school told me that I didn’t look like a topper because I’m so quiet & mind my own business. Basically average indians think “talking” & “politicising” == intelligence. There’s a dailogue in Euphoria I think “90% of life is confidence, and the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this thing about confidence is that no one knows if it’s real or not.” I cannot believe I am saying this but after living in EU, Indian bureaucracy seem faster especially after all services are digitized. Indians are show off everywhere, and still weirdly competitive not just at work but like in personal lives its annoying. These days you get Indian youtubers acting a fool everywhere too but that can be said about a lot of nationalities.
Not every state in India is completely digitised and efficient. Living in the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this Netherlands, government affairs are a breeze. Everything can be done online. I don’t see Indian bureaucracy as faster, at least in Kerala. A counter-rant to your rant…. There are snobby people everywhere and I don’t like that NRIs get the blame, let me explain why. Like you said in the start of your message, even a local guy in Chennai treated you the same. It’s not limited to NRIs but a common trait in insecure people who get off on degrading others. I think NRIs tend to complain more because they end up seeing a stark difference. A true patriot in my opinion will always criticise and speak up for the issues in the country he belongs to. Not talking about the problems or just feeling proud when issues stare in your face, does more harm to the country than good.

Think of that frog in a pan that doesn’t jump out if the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this water is slowly heated, and ends up dying. Compare to the frog dropped in boiling water, it’ll instantly jump out, make some noise and save its life. This analogy applies to people living in Delhi, and an NRI landing in Delhi. We’ve grown so used to accepting the incompetence of our government and authorities that we are ok breathing air that 100% is slowly.killing.you. When I lived outside India in a country where fresh air and a functional society was the norm, it felt like a punch in my face when I first breathed in Delhi air upon landing. Only when you see there are things that can work better, is when you start speaking up. Speak up, complain, demand that your tax money is put to good work.
Think about what Ashneer said, you work 3 months every year for the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this government. Three months of your entire salary: directly credited to government. What do you get? You get to see corrupt politicians divide, burn the nation while their children study and live abroad If you’re anything less than enraged at the current state of affairs in India and think NRIs are cry babies, you need a reality check. The NRI kind that deserves a roast are the ones supporting and fighting for current government, given that they have zero to no impact of the policies these government introduce. You want to show support for a govt party? Or think they’re doing a good job? VOTE. A vote is where your support ends. Period. Then start scrutinising and questioning the govt you put in power, are they doing their job? No? Then speak up.
Silencing the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this voice of dissent is a major reason why someone in a village feels underprivileged. A hard working government would have given you excellent resources & education even in a village, so that you never feel threatened from a shitty city boy. After living in a country with crumbling infrastructure in most of the cities and towns except a very few tier 1 cities, it’s quite obvious people feel liberated from the corruption and mismanagement they have in their home country and complaining against that isn’t a bad thing. They’re not hypocrites. They don’t like India and, so, they’re abroad. Their action is justified. I have problems with the other section of NRIs. The real a$$h0les, who praise how great India has become and how India is now the most powerful country and everyone talks about India and how great Modi is doing and how developed India has become, but those a$$h0les will never move to India. They have the EU/US/CA/AUS/NZ/UK passport and they keep enjoying life in the west and keep praising how great everything is back home but they never move back. People who speak shit abroad are less problematic because they moved out and now, they’re living in the place they truly love. I’m not saying I agree with people shitting India every time there’s something about India. That’s disgusting. But, at least they’re not hypocrite.
It’s not. Personality problem . When a child grows up he’s learning from his surroundings. Everyone acts like morons who talk loud , act crazy and sometimes fight eachother for no reason. These kind of observations will affect a child right from his early age. No, this is not stupid at all. I’ve observed the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this same behaviour. These NRIs are the same people who would clog up the entire real estate market buying properties that they would never live in, driving prices higher for people like us. Also these are the same people who would praise the bicycle and pedestrian and public transport friendly cities in Europe and then drive massive SUVs the next chance they get in India. F these people This is like Manmadhudu (telugu comedy) scene playing out in writing. Like the comedian described Paris as being India 30 years in fast forward and goes on to be super pretentious. I’ve been living in the UK for over 5 years now, and have come across this behaviour countless times. Especially those who last went to India over 2 decades ago.
That aside, as an adult, you should be able to stand people belittling your country OP. Not everything deserves brain power or being riled. OP meets 2-3 Indians with superiority complex that clashes with his own and decides that all Indians are like that. I am not sure whether this is related to the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this given situation but once I was travelling from surat to singapore and I had to catch a train from Surat to Mumbai and then a flight to Singapore. I reached a bit late at the platform and saw the train was already on platform. Me and family had to run all the way to the end of the station because my coach was H1 and it was the last one. There was a man (white shirt may be TT)saw us running and shouted “General dabba aage he, aage sab AC vale mehnge dabbe he” with a grumpy, rude and disgusted face that government officers have. I stopped for a moment to look at his face. I was furious and wanted to confront him but I had to catch a train. Lol relax. Indians in India will do their best to give foreigners gyaan. Patriotism doesn’t come into it, it’s just a generalized superiority complex.
I honestly don’t see this kinda shit from people who’ve been living abroad for ages. My sister has lived in the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this US for more than 15 years. She only says nice things about India and she wants her son to learn our culture. There are bad apples everywhere. While I agree our country is lacking in infrastructure, bringing up this topic shouldn’t be done in the way those people do it. That’s just being negative and rude. I was born and brought up outside India who decided to move to India at the age of 26 to live, work and experience life here. I know many Indians who were also born and brought up outside India who hate being Indian, forget moving back to India. These people should just be ignored honestly, they’re just insecure.
Nah i am glad you said all of that. I key thing to notice is mass generalisation. X person does something and it’s why are indian people the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this way they are. I moved to Germany years ago, and have naturalised now. I have a fairly large group of friends in my social circle, both Indians and foreigners from every other country as Berlin is a multicultural city and you end up meeting a lot of immigrants you live in the city over time. Neither do my Indian friends(those who have lived here as long as I have) nor do any of the other foreigners “put down” newer immigrants who have moved there in the ways you describe. In fact if anything, you’d find them helping newer people in the city find their stride, whether that be helping them find new friends, navigating German bueracracy(which is a nightmare for newcomers) or generally being polite if nothing else. The Indians that put down others or laud it over are usually the ones who are new immigrants themselves and want to feel like the bigger man in a new city, where they aren’t the top of the pecking order anymore. They pick on the easiest target they have which unfortunately end up being the ones that come after them. It’s not an Indian issue. It’s just a fake superior complexity issue.
This behavior is one of the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this most annoying things about people from abroad. The perception that india, and indians are third world is from the 1980’s. The strides we have made as a country and people is one of the most impressive feats of the 21st century. Yes, we do have our own issues. But what country does not?! They will talk about the slums of our country, when their own cities like Los Angeles are overrun by people living in the streets. I make it a point to show them the mirror when they start bad mouthing india, during my travels. You should do the same, don’t be shy, tell them all of this what you wrote here on their faces. Life is short. Op you ranting about this won’t change anything. if you do want change, and I’m not asking you to be conformist just fyi, you should change the way you talk and or look. Those people don’t know about your history they’ll identify you by your characteristics. You ignoring them is good though
You know I’m that type of person who criticize India in front of indians and defend India in front of foreigners. People usually don’t like me. I think I have some bad news. You’ve surrounded yourself with pretentious idiots. Whether you live in India or abroad, you need to put effort to fill your circle with people that are grounded, humble, well mannered and positive. It might be hard especially in a country where you feel alone and barely know a couple of people, but I’d like to think most people aren’t that way. Also please don’t believe that anyone living abroad is not as patriotic as you. Most of us didn’t grow up dreaming about leaving India but situations and circumstances lead us abroad. Most of us still love, respect and are rooting for India, heavily invest in India, pay taxes, make donations etc. I would not tolerate anyone talking negatively about India. Both Indians and people from other countries. Now for solutions, I would also be offended or hurt when people (indians or foreigners) made any stupid comments about India that is far from the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this truth. What I realized over time is that these comments usually don’t come from a place of hatred but from a place of ignorance. In short they are stupid or lack knowledge and don’t know what India really is like. They could have left India back in the day and imagine that it never progressed once they left. Or belong to some villages or lower tier cities and only visit those places when they visit India. Then they believe it’s a reflection of the whole country. They are unknowingly very biased and I try to keep explaining to them how India is ahead of most countries in lots of things ex. Digitalization. Usually how they respond to this stuff is an indicator of whether they were just ignorant or really want to put the country down.
Lastly regarding manners, these are people who behave like this no matter where they live. Try and recollect if they were kind to waiting staff or blue collar workers when they lived in India? Your answer perhaps will be no! Most people are kind, well mannered and as you are exposed to the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this world, it makes you respect different kinds of people and professions . But the kind of people you are talking about are just pretentious, I’ve met people that feel being respectful towards blue collar workers prevents them from respecting you lol (RIP logic). You have to stay away from such people for your own good or at least not let their statements affect you. I just laugh at their stupidity, ignorance, hypocrisy and pretentiousness and feel bad they always need to put up an act rather than feel hurt or bad about it. Hope this helps
Looks like absolute dogshit though, and I’d be hard pressed to identify a poor quality brick versus a high quality one all things considered. Less about hiding bricks and more about protecting them. If the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this render on a property fails and the brick face isn’t designed to withstand driven rain you can easily get damp and mould in the property. But yes, it can be made to look better than pebbledash. A proper render looks good, many houses today are rendered. Ha. A friend of mine used to sell stuff door to door – I think double glazing. He said they knew they had a sale if the house was pebble dashed, or had that fake stone facing 🙂 “Before the joiners get here to replace the front door, shall we write some amusing graffiti on it and upload a photo to Reddit, for karma?” It opens outwards, too! Way harder to kick in. I imagine that was installed as a preventive measure after the last time a lover’s wife made the same discovery. Innit! Imagine it from his perspective when he gets home. Not only does he have to work all this out with his wife, being just as much a victim as whoever wrote this, he has to go and buy a new front door now as well. Also, poor guy finishes having it out with his wife, sends her packing. Thinks to himself “aw i’ll just jump on reddit and relax a bit after this horrible day” only to find this thread and he has to sit there reading about how horrible his front door is.
Right I’ve got rid of the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this wife, time to work on myself. I’ll go on a bit of a diet, hit the gym, sports car, but first I’m getting a new fucking door. Honestly I can understand relationships are complex and affairs happen sometimes, but damn am I convinced everybody involved here is trashy as hell from that door alone. Live in a house with that door. The point of their message is that anyone who lives in a house with that door is trashy. maybe the wife didn’t sleep with another married man, maybe she did this because she’s been at her husband for months to paint the front door. Those shutters probably cost as much as the windows and would’ve been a lot less than a new front door and a bit of paint. “Oh, you aren’t working from your home. Here’s a pack of Sharpie markers, HR will give you a list of workers who refused the RTO directive…” I also thought it said “home working” and was reminded about Blackadder 2’s quote regarding Kate becoming a prostitute so she wouldn’t need to go to London when she can work from home with a steady job just lying on her back. Can you imagine waking up, thinking I wonder what’s happening on casual uk on Reddit… and seeing your own front door… Brutal
Holy crap, it looks like the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this entrance to some run down basement metal workshop that doubles as a covert medical facility for black market organ harvesting. The only thing missing is the “Keep out” sign. Interesting how the artist kept a tight font with excellent kerning. At the beginning. Further in, the capitalization really went to hell. I think she (looks like a woman’s writing?) realised she could have used more space and started to improvise a bit. I honestly don’t understand why people go after the person their partner cheated with. I get it’s different if they are both married but I’ve seen so many people give their partner a pass but go after the person they cheated with despite the fact they aren’t the one in the relationship.
It could also be just an informative thing. The person is informing the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this husband that his wife is a slag who cheated. This would be reasonable. Last week my neighbour left the headlights on his car switched on, so I went and wrote “YOU LEFT YOUR LIGHTS ON!” in sharpie on his front door. Knock on the door and speak to him then. The husband probably now feels embarassed that this is how he found out – the same way all his neighbours and anybody walking past found out. As someone whose been through this situation (wife cheated and found someone else while married), we have to realize this person isn’t thinking logically – they’re doing things driven by sheer emotion, so its hard to understand when looking at the situation from the outside sometimes. Realistically, yea, that’d be better – but this woman likely just had a bomb dropped on her, so shes operating on emotion and heartbreak. Which often doesn’t line up with logical thinking.
Also lets others know so word gets round that the Books Shirt Apart from…,I will love this wife is a cheat, so after this marriage fails, the wife will have fewer LTR options I guess. Or more. Depends if you’re into that. Even after this you’ll likely still have residual love for your partner and despite them cheating they likely still love you. It’s also hard to fully acknowledge that they’ve knowingly done something so devastatingly hurtful. The “other person” however is a previously neutral party who has done one of the worst things possible to you. At the end of the day we’re still just animals and there’s a reason that we are still psychologically wired to want to literally kill someone who mates with our partner. Of course resorting to violence is only going to add to your troubles but unfortunately those primal urges can get the better of some. (Fighting, fucking and fleeing as the cruder evolutionary psychologists refer to them!)
