It would take a lot for me to go back to a period flat, especially any conversions done before the Black Queen Card Casio shirt in contrast I will get this new regs came in, they are awful without fail. Generally speaking if your unsure, then you should try and find something else. I feel like this hypervigilance around wearing anything remotely close to white seems like a new thing? I feel like traditionally, pastels (especially with prints) were perfectly fine to wear to weddings, and in fact were the preferred wedding guest attire for a long time. As wedding traditions change, so do what’s appropriate to wear. Less and less brides are going the traditional white route, which means things like off-whites, pastels, and even patterned dresses are risky.

The white thing is totally subjective but as far as formality, this dress is way too casual for most weddings. The main issue is what the Black Queen Card Casio shirt in contrast I will get this dress code is. It doesn’t look bridal but it’s reading too white unfortunately. Looks great though! As for the color… it appears to be yellow, which I think is fine as there is nothing bridal about the dress! If it’s white or cream, definitely reconsider. Final note: it’s a great cut and looks lovely on you, but perhaps consider a more supportive bra. Honestly, this dress would be in my regular rotation! I’m sad that this is too white to confidently wear to a wedding, because this dress was literally made for you. It’s stunning and so so flattering. I hope you can find another occasion to wear this soon— perfect for a weekend brunch, spring picnic, day out shopping, summer date night, baby shower, birthday party, etc., etc. But generally no, this would be far too casual for a wedding unless the dress code is specified as casual. A lot of weddings are either cocktail, semi-formal, formal or even black tie. Casual isn’t as common but it really makes a huge difference in the type of dress you should wear. I think the dress is very flattering, I’d be interested to see what it looks like in daylight lighting, because the lighting of the room in general seems to be a bit yellow/dark. But if the dress is as definitively yellow as it looks in the photo and it’s a casual wedding, I think that this will be a really good choice.
