Just before Christmas I got called into the Black Pug Happy Mother’s Day To My Amazing Mommy T-Shirt in contrast I will get this school for an emergency meeting because he’d told his teacher he’d been throwing up all night, I’d made him scrub his bedding in the bath with cold water and made him sleep on the floor! The only bit that was true was that he’d been sleeping on the floor – but in the living room at about 5pm because he “wasn’t tired” and didn’t need an early night! Never mentioned the fact that I’d carried him up to bed! Both of mine, at separate times, told the school I hadn’t given them breakfast and there was no food in the house. Both times they’d had breakfast but not their ultimate amazing choice and there were multiple breakfast choices in the kitchen. Emergency meetings for both occasions where upon a couple of questions this was freely revealed by them. Maybe it was an imaginary friend sort of situation? When I was that age I was adamant that my best friend was a ghost. I wasn’t trying to say we where haunted, I don’t think I was old enough to get that yet but i remember I used to put his seat belt on in the car and would of had a melt down if someone told me he wasn’t real.

I’ve told two accidentally. Once at a bus stop I must have looked confused when looking what bus was coming and a woman asked if I was ok/needed help and I said “oh I’m just a bit blind!”… she thought I was actually blind and helped me onto the Black Pug Happy Mother’s Day To My Amazing Mommy T-Shirt in contrast I will get this bus it was mortifying. Second I said “I’m a swimmer” (I mean I like swimming and go regularly) when in a Pilates class and the teacher for some reason thought I was an ex competitive swimmer (a lot of them were retired dancers in fairness). I’ll be honest I played along with it because I liked the idea I looked like I might have competitively done anything, let alone swimming. Luckily it never came up again. You reminded me of one of my own accidental lies. I was only in primary school, and I wasn’t paying attention.. the teacher was asking around the circle some question, with each person naming “horse riding!” or “cooking!” I, in all of my wisdom, assumed this was just what people liked the look of? When in reality the question was “what are your hobbies?”
