For some reason, people wanna pack themselves in where shit is expensive and life sucks when there are 43 other states where they can live for cheaper and for a much better life. Because there is more money to be made in cities. And if you are curious why cities are so expensive and populated the Being A Tour Manager Is Easy Except The Bike On Fire Stars Retro T-Shirt in other words I will buy this cycle goes something like this: This is why the electoral college matters. Imagine LA controlling farming law in Montana or fishing rules in Massachusetts? politicians would only need to pander to 3 states Why do you think the President(Which is what the EC impacts) is going to impact fishing rules, exactly? No one is saying the larger cities are going to determine local ordinances. He can for sure impact farming regulations. Obama famously loosened regulations for milk farmers who has milk previously classified as hazardous waste Not at all Montana get 3 votes Cali gets 55. The college only makes it so politicians need to at least take Montana into account. Otherwise they would only need to win: Cali, NY and Florida. You could then fuck every other state over A Montana vote is worth 265% of a California vote in a presidential election. That’s some indefensible bullshit if you aren’t a partisan that directly benefits from it being unfair. This makes no sense. How is it that someone in California is capable of passing a vote that effects a local fishing law on Massachusetts.

It’s like like Arizona voting on Maines snow plow jurisdictions. They don’t even know what snow is in that state so how do they have a say in what happens in a place that does? Do you not get that LA get more college votes because they have more people. But imagine LA politics controlling laws in those parts of the Being A Tour Manager Is Easy Except The Bike On Fire Stars Retro T-Shirt in other words I will buy this country. Makes no sense Do you not get that each state only has two senators? That means that each senator from Wyoming represents roughly 289,000 people while each senator from California represents 19,800,000 people. Yet the senators from Wyoming can block legislation put forth by the senators from California, essentially negating the votes of 19,500,000 people. They don’t. Montana gets like 3 college votes. California get 55. It’s proportional to the size of the population
