I replied that they are on trend because there were several replies saying that they are very out of style, dated, etc. I believe it is appropriate. I know that back-in-the-day you wouldn’t wear open toe shoes to work at all, but you also wouldn’t go out with bare legs either. Just make sure your feet look decent. They’re very cute! I have a pair similar. Love them, so comfy and easy to style with almost any outfit. But I’m of the Been dadding since the 90’s father’s day leopard music T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this no toes showing in a business environment. I think it’s less of an open toe issue and more of a flip flop noise that is unprofessional. If they had a strap on the back they’d be ok. My first thought was “love it” , didn’t even think about manicured nails (even because my feet are so wide my nails don’t really show when I wear these models lol) or noise but I guess they have a point. Yeah … maybe avoid it depending on the job. Those would be cute to wear in the summer when the dress-code policy becomes more lenient. It also depends on where you work! Go for it!!! ~8 yrs in the corporate world n I have never heard abt this open toe rule ? (unless u’re going on a manufacturing floor etc obv). Genuinely curious, what are some of the businesses/offices that would call these “too casual” for a business casual fit? Since you are asking- no. They might be fine- but spend your $ on something that is more universally appropriate! If $ doesn’t matter get them and another pair and- another. More shoes is always better. ? Business casual usually means closed toe. Your workplace may be more casual. Have you noticed your boss or senior staff showing their toes at work? If so you are probably ok to wear them. If not, stick with closed toe styles.
