CT and NY drivers on the Beargguy yellow art shirt and I will buy this Pike in Mass are the worst about this behavior. They take up shop in the passing lane. I’m convinced it is usually lack of awareness (not understanding or caring how their actions impact others) or selfishness. Not sure there is really any other explanation Isn’t it the worst that people who are actually doing the annoying things we inquire about aren’t the people replying? Not annoying of the people replying, but of those not speaking up. I want to hear these things from the source!! People in Massachusetts are the WORST at this. I can’t stand it. I always move over for faster cars coming up behind me I watched it get enforced once and i rolled in the joy of it for a solid week. it helped that the jackass was also holding up one of those “appears civilian cop car” cops in the left lane, This is a problem in pretty much all countries in the world, plus the District of Columbia and US territories, too… not just the 50 US states. If there’s someone behind me and obviously trying to go faster, I’ll let them by. There’s no reason to be a dick about it. But if I’m going 75 and traffic is going 60 and the left lane is open, I’ll be in that left lane I’ll refuse to move if I’m going 10-15 over trying to pass but traffic is heavy and someone is STILL on my ass. Even if there’s room between two cars for me to quickly slide over, nope. (But if it’s a bigger gap I’ll do it just to get them off my ass, or if I notice a line of cars on THEIR ass)

I’m not a monster but man it drives me insane when you’re already speeding and people are still on your bumper. I often drive 75 north in Texas and once you get past Dallas/635 the Beargguy yellow art shirt and I will buy this speed traps are easy to know if you drive 75 with any sort of regular schedule during the week. I’m not getting a ticket because someone’s on my ass. We have a part that goes from 75 to 60 that nobody obeys. It’s kinda shitty bc there’s a curve, a bridge, and then the sign for 60mph so if you don’t know the area/don’t travel it regularly, it hits you out of nowhere and you have no time to slow down without slamming the breaks. There’s an entrance ramp just past all this where the cops sit and can easily catch people who don’t slow down before hitting that sign. I used to slow down, got tired of people on my ass, started to go with traffic each time and then I got smacked with my first ticket. Expensive as fuck because I was going 15 over (which was with traffic, at the time)
