Speaking of knitters are not knice, there’s always some sort of fresh drama going on in the Bear outside I be hootin but inside I be hollerin shirt in addition I really love this yarn world, the latest being a fiber festival gone horribly wrong and also looking to be super fraudulent…the second I have heard of just this year. There’s some post I’ve seen from tumblr about finding out all the drama in the “yarn fandom” and I can confirm all the examples listed are very much real (I was rubbernecking most of them as they happened) and shit like that is still constant. I don’t even knit but attended a few fiber fests cause the color of yarn is amazing and other people set up booths that are art or other craft adjacent. Plus they do demonstrations. But now I’m super curious about fiber fest drama lol. Ours needed more food trucks.

There’s someone that does YouTube videos about all the Bear outside I be hootin but inside I be hollerin shirt in addition I really love this drama. My YT is all knitting, crochet, embroidery and nails, so I don’t blame the algorithm for thinking I would want to watch them. Knitting and crochet drama seemed wild to me when I first started crocheting. Like how tf can you make drama out of something so… I dunno, not dramatic? But some of it is juicy af. I actually put a video about the fibre festival drama into my watch later because it reminded me so much of Dash con by the screenshots. “I saw someone reading a book I like and tried to talk to them about it but they were more interested in continuing to read the book!?!” Speaking to a stranger on a flight is a form of torture to me. I’m not an unfriendly person by any means but the thought of having to carry a conversation with a complete stranger and then not being able to leave the area is extremely uncomfortable to me. For my own comfort and happiness I’d much rather just sit in silence and I firmly believe that’s perfectly fine. If I don’t want to talk to you that’s my choice.
