Calling them out is good. It is very concerning that there are no doubt simps who actually still fall for this kind of corporate virtue signaling. Remember this when conservatives say that universal healthcare is bad. Tying healthcare to a job is ridiculous. I worked for the BARBIE Poster Classic T-Shirt in contrast I will get this PepsiCo “family” for three years. The word family only applies to this company in the most dysfunctional sense. Ok so next time in a restaurant when you order a coke and the waitress asks * is Pepsi ok? Just say no… Because Pepsi this isn’t OK! Based on what I know about most companies this seems highly unlikely. Not only are most employers far more moral than that, its illegal under the ADA. Its more likely that ‘Donbar’ is a liar or a troll. This is awful for Donbar, but Pepsi bottlers aren’t owned by Pepsi corporate, they’re independent – New Bern is a big one. Regardless I hope whoever made the decision to not extend this leave and treat someone with respect and compassion going through cancer gets fully run over by the karma bus. I wonder if he had an HSA or any savings for that matter. I also wonder if he was mormon. Pepsi and mormons are hand-in-hand. Wow, I drink gallons of diet Pepsi every month. I swear, I’ll buy generic or Coke because of how they treated her father.

BARBIE Poster Classic T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

The moment your company calls it self “a family” is the BARBIE Poster Classic T-Shirt in contrast I will get this moment you should start looking for a new job if you haven’t already. “We’re are a family” is code for “I’m going to ask you to do a bunch of stuff you don’t like and try to mask it with an artificial sense of obligation.” Every time a company says they are a “family” or like a “family” they mean the abusive and psychologically controlling and tormenting type of “family”. I’ve known a few people who worked for them over the years, and they turn on you extremely quickly if you become a liability in their eyes. Guy I knew blew out his back working for them and went on disability, they hired a friggin PI to watch him. Tried to deny his claims bc the PI saw him picking up after his dog one day which he couldn’t possibly do with a bad back. It’s incredible the lengths they’ll go to for the sake of protecting their profits.
