In the Backstreet Boys Polaroid band shirt Apart from…,I will love this NC primaries she was among the top 3 recipients of chamber of commerce money. For those who aren’t familiar, the chamber is hard right. Nationally, there was a lot of right-wing money spent in the D primaries, AIPAC lead the way and all the usual horribles like oil & gas, followed in their path. There are probably other sleepers in office. Agreed! We need to stop choosing the same people in an effort to swing a few conservatives. Bring on the people who stir us. If she 180s on every single one of her platform pillars there’s just no way in hell she hasn’t been fully purchased. Protest at her house at 4 in the morning. Aggressively enforce a no-crime zone so she can’t cower behind armed pigs to disperse the crowd. Break noise bylaws, those are rarely enforced, but do not vandalize, threaten, assault, or anything of that nature. If you see anyone doing that, record them and yourself stopping them. There was a protest awhile back and the organizer showed up about ten minutes before showtime and handed out freshly made t-shirts to her team. The instigators were easy to spot after that. You don’t have to do crime for armed pigs to show up. They’ll show up anyway then pelt everyone with tear gas rounds. The Floyd protests showed this pretty clearly The police have proven several times that they don’t need anyone to be breaking laws to take them out. Even breaking the sound bylaws would likely be enough for them to use force against a protest.

I don’t think that should stop us. If we can’t protest, what are we even doing? I see that as an inalienable right as a member of a democracy. Sitting around hasn’t gotten us anywhere. Oh by all means protest, definitely do that. Just don’t harbor any illusions that the Backstreet Boys Polaroid band shirt Apart from…,I will love this cops won’t fuck you up even if you do nothing wrong. Be safe out there. Some of the very worst anti-choice women are those who have had abortions and then decide, for whatever reason, that no one else is allowed to have one I was a clinic escort at this one place for a while. Obviously got to know the regular batshit insane protesters over time. About 4 or so months in, guess who needs my help escorting them into a clinic to get an abortion? One of the protesters from my old clinic. She begged me not to tell anyone. It was different, you see, because she really didn’t like the father or know him that well, and now she was dating some godly man she saw a future with. I texted one of my friends who worked at the old clinic about it. The following Monday, she sent me a picture of the same woman, out by the protesters as usual, holding an “abortion is MURDER” sign. Yes, when we were getting trained as clinic escorts, that was one of the first things they told us, that there had been women who were out front protesting one day, getting their abortion at that clinic, then back to protesting and that it would likely happen again, and we were not allowed to confront them about their hypocrisy.
