I find it confusing, too. I have Shorts getting immediately views and continuing to be pushed for weeks (nothing huge, but into the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this low thousands which I’m delighted about.) Some videos get watched by my very loyal viewers and literally no one else sees them. It’s my Twitch mods because they look at my page so much. I don’t get why some things fly and others are completely ignored Also it bugs me when people say “don’t blame the algorithm” because in some cases the algorithm doesn’t even give them a chance Yeah, about the words etc, they were words related to music production, like the ones in the shorts before, the video had captions, etc. Think about that short like the part 3 of a 4 part series, where the parts 1, 2, 4 worked pretty well (for me) but this one kept being ignored by youtube during 250 days. I wonder how many people would give up because of that bs and how can youtube benefit from that, because i genuinely don’t understand how this algorithm inner workings can benefit them.

Neither hit the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this feed in 24 hours. So there goes my good run… Deleted both and reposted them today (new exports, so different file, and one with actual edits) and it really feels like the same thing is gonna happen. Over an hour in for both and neither are hitting the feed. Unlike long form there’s no chance for a short that doesn’t hit the feed to get significant views later… And all I do is post shorts… TikTok genuinely seems not interested in ever giving me a boost beyond 300 even when i have quite good metrics. YouTube has been my best platform by far and away… Well until the last 48 hours when my 300 views on a video on TikTok today is approximately 10x more views than 3 shorts I posted today have combined (yes they have combined views of under 10 lol)

For the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this most part I will delete and re-upload any short that doesn’t hit the feed within 24 hours because as of yet I’ve seen no evidence that they’ll ever hit if they get no feed in that time. and usually they will hit the feed again. Once it took 3 tries deleting and re-uploading but it finally hit. But I have similarly left some shorts untouched for weeks, especially my early ones, and they have zero impressions 60-90 days later. Yesterday I had both shorts not hit the feed. And that’s after literally my best week ever of views…. So fucking frustrating to see my graph go down to zero after getting like 20k views over the previous 48 hours. It looks like todays re-uploads aren’t hitting the feed either…. I think I can handle this for only a couple more days before I take a break or give up.

Last week was my best with a long (5 minutes) video doing 2400 views. I was excited and then this week nothing for my new video. It is hard to understand but it is a challenge. The video you posted this week that’s not doing great now could blow up in a week or a month or a year. That’s not the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this same for shorts. Ive noticed this happens if you upload too much. If it does happen i take it to premiere pro, add one blank frame at the end or the start, completely overhaul the title and desc and that ususally does the trick. I really don’t think I’ve uploaded too much… But I do what you’re already saying and make a small tweak when I re-upload. Don’t be mad about it!!! Not because the feeling doesn’t suck, but just because YouTubes not worth your pain!! I know how you feel tho.. one time I posted this AMAZING short and it got 0 traction.. I deleted it too… I felt gas lit into thinking it was bad.. but later I realized with shorts the only thing I do that’ll get attention is stupid cooking videos or copying garbage trends! (Not that there’s anything wrong with cooking or trend videos – I just don’t find them creatively satisfying to make right now lol) I think shorts as a medium is rigged for trends because there’s 0 amount of “im going to choose to watch this” from the viewer and it’s all algorithm decides what the person will watch next. I think it’s easier for the computer to sort it out based on broad categories… The computer’s trying it’s best, but we’re so much more than a group of key words!! You guys… WE’RE ARTISTS!!!

Step by step to buy Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt

When a video hit the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this feed and does badly, I get that. Got plenty of videos that stalled at 100 views or 500 views. That makes sense. In this case though, the videos are not even hitting the feed at all… So I cannot say whether the video would get attention or not…. That’s sort of what I mean.. with shorts the computer analyzes the meta data and decides to give it a push or not.. at least with videos it usually takes a sample then decides, I don’t think sampling audience groups is always the first step with shorts – I think the initial push is based on arbitrary data points… and if it does give it a push it’ll use the feedback data then.. with videos I think audience sampling almost always happens… and yes that happens with shorts too I just don’t think it’s the first step. Shorts are hard because you could make the best video in the world but might not even have a chance to go through the gate… idk… Honestly it’s not my favorite format because it rewards staying in the box…
Yeah I get a similar sense that sometimes the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this algorithm is making a decision before even showing people the short based on metadata and the like. It’s kinda like how TikTok’s algorithm will decide if a short is “unoriginal” or “low effort” in a timeframe that clearly indicates no human was in the loop. It’s a computer deciding how much effort I put into a video…. Absurd… The funny thing is I figured the aglo would know when a video is re-upload it and just not boost it… But I have had plenty of delete and re-uploads, with little or no editing at all, and they hit the feed the second time or third time I agree in 2 weeks I rose from 0 to 641 subs and now suddenly from last 1/2 days nothing no views not sure how this works
You deserved to get pissed. Its not about people ignored or swipe away anymore. Algorithm simply being an ass to you by not recommend that video. I doubt it is a shadowban… I really hope something is just broken or bugged right now because I was doing FINE up until roughly 24 hours ago. I wouldn’t suggest to re-upload (or keep re-uploading) the Baby Yoda State Farm This Is My Hallothanksmas Shirt in contrast I will get this same short(s) because sooner or later youtube will notice that and they will flag you for spam. This is one of the biggest reasons why I don’t do shorts. It’s literally a roulette and 99% of people are just scrolling instead of searching a particular thing with a short, that’s why it’s so flaky. Unless you’re big enough, you should upload it and forget about it.
