How do we know where exactly the Awesome peace love panda express chinese kitchen shirt Besides,I will do this ‘funds’ go with these supermarkets? At least in my experience, I’ve never seen any photo or video evidence of real ‘on the ground’ proof of help by these companies for their charitable offers to these causes. I prefer to support charitable organisations who disclose where the funds go & what they’re used for. I also support those who show video evidence & doco’s about their work & how it’s making a real world difference. FWIW, I get the same “donation” thing from local pop-mom shop, not a billion dollar company. Sometimes it’s for “can you support our LOCAL ” I trust this even less than a large corporation. It’s much easier for a small operation to make this money disappear into their pocket than a large company because there are fewer eyes on the books and less of a chance of being audited. Not to mention if they don’t have a digital paper trail then it’s basically a cash donation to the owner’s Ferrari fund.

A lot of businesses actually keep a percentage of the Awesome peace love panda express chinese kitchen shirt Besides,I will do this donations, don’t forget to ask what percentage is kept by the store. It’s a scam. They collect the donations and get the tax write-offs. I would rather donate directly and get the tax write-offs myself. I used to do the $1 to whatever it was that week, because I figured $1 isn’t too bad on top of $50 groceries or whatever, but I’ve seen this enough times to where it stuck with me and I just scoff at it now. “No thank you!” Never feels quite as nice as when you tell the multi billion conglomerate that you will not be giving them any additional money for whatever bullshit shtick they’re peddling today. (1) Yes the money is actually donated to the charity. (2) No, the company does not get a tax write-off for this. (3) No, you are not reimbursing the company money they already donated. Do some legitimate research people. Corporate entities (especially large ones) keep very tight books on all of these things and are frequently audited. That’s not to say that shady things don’t happen, but it’s a pretty safe bet that the money you round up with at the electronic register is going where it should. Also, the amount donated through these types of charities is crazy. Way more than if people were expected to find the charity, go to their website and make a donation. If you don’t want to donate, then don’t. If you feel guilty because they asked and you refused, that’s a you problem.
