Zionism is an self-admitted settler-colonialist movement; even the earlier founders of the movement knew they couldn’t form a Jewish state in Palestine without removing the Palestinians already living there. Because of that there are many Jews who are anti-zionist, especially now. A large portion of the current protests against Israel are being organized by Jewish groups. To equate Zionism with Judaism is in and of itself antisemitic.

Putting up these posters serves no purpose in the US but to piss people off, but if you put ones up for Palestinians you get asked why you support terrorism, and if you take down the Israeli ones you get asked why you’re antisemitic. There’s a clear double standard going on, and people are too agitated to reflect on it. Most people can agree that Hamas is evil, but Palestinians don’t deserve to die because of their actions. Most people can agree that Israel deserves to protect itself and Oct 7th was horrible, but what Israel is doing to Palestinians is worse. These things are not mutually exclusive.
