For me, all pleasantries would be off the Awesome dodge City Peace Commission T-Shirt besides I will buy this moment he yelled at you for asking for a raise. Everything else is just diarrhea icing on the shit cake. You’re being far nicer than you have to, but at the same time I admire someone who can keep a cool head vs taking revenge or pettiness to the point where it just hurts you in the process, like what your old boss is doing, lmao. You got more money, your boss is leaving you alone, and you get to leave that place anyway in like a week? What’s the problem here? When you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Just let him bleed out after shooting himself and get make some more money elsewhere. You gave them a month notice? Why? You should have taken any PTO you had (doubt you had any), squared away any other benefits you had like medical/dental (also i doubt) And just told them on June 9th at 4pm it was your last day, turned over keys and any files or passwords. And left early. They already expected you to be their wage slave for life? (Racist comment about whichever “group” they are or whatever.) Good for you getting a better job where it seems you’ll be valued instead of abused. These people have no business being in business!

Awesome dodge City Peace Commission T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

25 calls a day? Giving all that notice, just hoping that things get better? The owner not even replaying to the Awesome dodge City Peace Commission T-Shirt besides I will buy this ultimatum (which truthfully, you should never do). Putting up with a “massive hissy fit”, and the guilt trip about staying forever? Fuck all that noise. Start the new job as soon as you can, and ghost the current owner as soon as you start the new job. Next time you ask for a raise, don’t write 5 paragraphs or make threats to leave, just simply say, in person, “can we set aside some time next week to discuss my compensation?” If they refuse, or get angry, you know your answer and need not go any farther. Once you start looking for a new job, you should consider that as a commitment to leave your old job when you’ve found a replacement. Don’t attempt to get a counteroffer, and don’t accept one, if made. They will know that you are prepared to leave and will look for every opportunity to replace you. They will also tend to be resentful.
