At 35, I am now an emergency medicine physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. For the Autism Awareness Live Love Accept Shirt Also,I will get this past four years, I’ve sat alone as the sole Black woman faculty member in my departmental meetings, committees, and clinical spaces. Like many other Black faculty in this country, I carry a burden to lead diversity and inclusion efforts, a task within medicine that typically falls on the very people who feel isolated and unsupported in the first place. This is the minority tax: anti-racism task forces, diversity mixers, and late-night debriefs discussing acts of racism. This tax is added to standard expectations—to publish papers, lead meetings, develop policies.

Then, there are the Autism Awareness Live Love Accept Shirt Also,I will get this more overt challenges I face at the patient’s bedside. In early 2017, I walked into one patient’s room and introduced myself as I always do: “I’m Dr. Landry. What brings you in today?” The patient, his wife, and daughter exploded with rage: “Get that Black doctor out of here! Get her out! We don’t want a Black doctor!” My colleagues, both white, politely—too politely, I thought—asked the patient and his family to stop.

Shirt came later than expected however they gifted me with a £10 voucher as promised for late deliveries which I think is great. The print was good quality and the shirt is thick. Would recommend.

I found the design studio easy to use, although knowing exactly where the design would appear on the garment is a little hit and miss as it is a static image. Perhaps a “Put logo in centre of shirt” or other standard locations could be added? Products were despatched promptly and were of good print quality. Considering the current situation I was very impressed by Streetshirts service and will be using them for our printed merchandise on our website
