Predictably we ended up divorcing after her life became 100% about our daughter and our relationship was forgotten along the way. A marriage should never be about meeting the needs of others, and I reject the idea that a married couples sole purpose is to worship a child, sacrificing all else including the loving connection between partners to do so.
