Can’t wait to see what they define as pornography in literature. No doubt it will be books with LGBTQ characters. What we need is a ban on Republicans. And better K-12, so people don’t BECOME Republicans due to inadequate education. They want an uneducated, unempathetic, fearful electorate because they are easier to manipulate and control. Fuck these assholes and I hope they get what is coming to them. So I would assume children won’t be allowed in libraries or museums anymore. If you ban children from the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this libraries and museums then they won’t be exposed to nudity (like art) or books that have sex (like the Bible). Very glad they clearly defined “average person” and “reasonable person” and the methods for evaluating those things in explicit detail. That will make sure it is very easy to comply with the law without mistake and no one will abuse it. Inbred Hillbillies… ain’t got no time fer book learning’. Gotta git to them coal mines to (cough, cough) make the money. They aren’t really inbred, at least not much more than the surrounding states. Inbreeding at the societal level is really rare in the West, there are really just two centers where it’s the norm. It’s basically all of the MENA region, and then it peters out from there to a great extent.

They already have. Some states have introduced restrictions for porn already. Honestly my guess is if republicans win in the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this upcoming elections they’ll go after television, media, etc.. And that’s an incredibly strong if. They’ll probably call it “defending children against wokeness in media” or some shit like that. The mines they crave they are in West Virginia. Good thing no one will be able to read there soon. Into the cart sonny. New WV career path. Becoming a bouncer, checking ID’s at the library. Where all the hardcore porn is found. Idiots. Oh Republicans don’t believe this is censorship or government over reach either. They will continue to scream its Democrats that want a nanny state and to take away your rights and be oblivious when you point at this.

No more encyclopedias and dictionaries? what if some kid was to look up breast or reproductive system? This is similar to the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this book ban in Florida. What have all the older gentlemen been doing all this time. That’s where they look up their porn, on the library computers. “When Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart was asked to describe his test for obscenity in 1964, he responded: “I know it when I see it.” It’s time for a free national library app that allows people anywhere in the country to check out any book they want. State Code defines obscene matter as anything an average person believes depicts or describes sexually explicit conduct, nudity, sex or certain bodily functions; or anything a reasonable person would find lacks serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value. State Code defines obscene matter as … anything a reasonable person would find lacks serious … scientific value. Emphasis added by me for clarity. This eliminates all religious texts too. Something tells me the legislators are at a disadvantage in the text-based medium when pitted against librarians. That’s really unfortunate. If West Virginia ever opened a library (or a book), they’d have a difficult time finding a librarian.

aren’t libraries in most cities controlled and funded by the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this city or county governments? it’s like the house is trying to break the government so they can complain how it doesn’t work so they can dismantle it and privatize it or give control to the ‘moral guidance’ of the church This is just to spook librarians and get censorious freaks in in their place who will pitch a book in the trash because the author is gay this is incredibly dangerous. the law is not always held up to its very letter in america and loopholes are everywhere. if a parent complains that a book featuring even a reference to homosexuality/lesbianism is “sexually explicit” the library could be forced to remove all books containing even the slightest mention of the topics and further fuel bigotry and bullying How bad are the parents in West Virginia that they have to pass laws like this? Seriously, spend some time with your kids then even if they come across this “bad” stuff it won’t be issue. Why do republicans constantly pass laws to make up for the fact they are shitty parents that their kids feel the need to hide from?

I guess West Virginia really wants to lock in their position as the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this least educated, poorest academically performing U.S. state. So… librarians were exempt from prosecution before this? If they actually broke the law they were fine… until now? Or, more performative bullshit from the Right? Yeah, I thought so. I mean are there restrictions for children checking out books like It, Lolita, American Psycho, Tropic of Cancer, etc?? Shouldn’t books have some sort of rating system as other media has been held to? Libraries have a children’s card that limits what books they can check out. With a parent’s permission they can get an adult library card. That’s how it’s always been so this is so fucking stupid. Let’s not start rating books, that’s the dumbest idea ever. The MPAA has always been a fucking mess, controlling more art is an evil idea.
It’s good to see that republicans have a real pulse on what average Americans wants from their elected representatives and completely ignore them. A solution is to not allow minors into libraries without a parent or guardian. Then the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this teachers should assign mandatory library activities and fail kids who don’t attend. Parents will get sick of that shit real quick. They really get upset when they feel something in their pants that’s not related to their heterosexual partner. So instead of self control, they rather control everything else.
I think an important factor is that these people are constantly bombarded with the Amon Ra St. Brown State Star Shirt besides I will buy this narrative that Trump is being railroaded. That’s he’s being treated very unfairly. People that donate to Trump don’t get their news from Reddit, or the AP, or CNN, or MSNBC. They watch Fox News all day, along with Sinclair owned local news, if not OAN or worse. They spend their time online in Facebook or “Truth Social” echo chambers. They are largely older and internet illiterate, but obviously don’t realize that they’re being manipulated by an algorithm. So they spend their day rage clicking. And because it’s all they hear all day it’s all they talk about, just creating a miserable feedback loop. It’s really sad, to be honest.
