Talking about how good the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt it is in the first place but economy is doing because the stock market is doing well works on people who’s income depends on the stock market. It does not work on people who’s income depends on wages and feel the effects of increased rent, food, etc. firsthand. Lived experiences are more visceral than propaganda. In the end we got about 20 years before most of them sunset and that old game doesn’t need to be played anymore. I’m confident the Red & Blue Uniparty will keep finding new ways to keep the working class divided. Boomers dying off is not sufficient to fix this broken system. You say policy is important….but yet you dump on the methods the administration uses to explain and talk about that policy to the public.

Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt: Perfect for Fans

lol. Yeah, not since Pokemon Go to the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt it is in the first place but polls has the blue octogenarian party been so in touch with the hearts and minds of the youth. You say their social media push the youth isn’t working…. Yet you ignore the most obvious example that happened recently.Talking about how good the economy is doing because the stock market is doing well works on people who’s income depends on the stock market. Here in a few years we’re going to find out that the American public were thrown under the bus to prevent a repeat of 2008. The stories are going to come out no different than the stories came out after the 2008 collapse, bank bailouts and corporate buyouts. Over the last several years we’ve watched American companies horde massive amounts of wealth while the US government completely ignores it. Every major US company is flush with cash and foreign investments. Money is flowing freely at the top. At the same time we’re watching country after country day after day fall into recession. Everybody is starting to collapse and here within a few months the global economic scene is going to be very bad. Multiple countries are going to be running out and looking for loans like they were back in 2008. But this time they’re going to be coming to the US for that cash. Not China like last time. They don’t care if we are broke at the bottom. As long as the country stays flush at the top.

You say their social media push the youth isn’t working…. Yet you ignore the most obvious example that happened recently. That stupid tweet is the perfect example of what I’m saying. Uh oh, kids aren’t liking Genocide Joe’s War on Palestinian Children, time to deploy another Dark Brandon Meme! Here in a few years we’re going to find out that the American public were thrown under the bus to prevent a repeat of 2008. Sounds like a repeat of 2008, lol. Though each recession, a regular feature of capitalism is going to hurt harder than the last. Over the last several years we’ve watched American companies horde massive amounts of wealth while the US government completely ignores it. Some information about Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt

Maybe? But it’s also possible that when Europeans look to rising energy costs, they see the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt it is in the first place but role the US played with bringing it about, or even if rhey don’t they’ll see that it’s America profiting off those higher energy prices. And as for loans, I guess it depends on the nation. It should be well understood by now that IMF loans come with austerity requirements. Loans from China don’t – they just want their payments. You are saying that you want the Biden administration to waste time implementing policy decisions and campaigning for legislation when every single piece of democrat legislation is being shot down by rogue politicians in the House. Biden said that he was going to implement a bill codifying abortion into the Constitution I would question why he was wasting time. It would just be a political game. “We all know the Republicans are going to shoot this down. But we’re letting them shoot this down so they look bad. Score some political brownie points”
And yet you get annoyed by them playing the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt it is in the first place but same classic games that they’ve been playing in politics for decades? Also….. Just like I’ve had this conversation with multiple people over the last several presidencies I’ve also watched the United States throw Europe under the bus multiple times. And Europe always chooses the US before everybody else. Europe may get mad at the US. But they know the only other options for loyalty and financial backers are Russia or china. And those aren’t good options as far as most of them are concerned. Its even worse in Japan, where your social position increases with age. So the oldest person in the room is automatically the wisest and most respected, even if they’re evidently senile. Some extremely cringy things have been said on a live mic and everyone in Japan just shrugs their shoulders.
At least American old politicians (sometimes) surround themselves with younger people, who have ideas and expertise. Biden is a lot more receptive to ideas coming out of this century than Japanese politicians half his age. There are several people in notable positions who are under 65. This presidential cycle could very well be a fluke when it comes to age. The four presidents before Trump are all still alive, so they definitely weren’t at death’s door when elected. Because the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt it is in the first place but people who routinely vote, especially in primaries, are also of the same age and tend not to trust younger less experienced politicians. If younger people would more consistently vote in local elections and primaries and not just the general elections, this could be fixed, but they don’t. Yeah. And these same older people would say the same thing when they were young. I mean it’s the same reason most people are friends with people in their age group. Your more likely to share the same interests and experiences than someone who’s 40 years younger than you.
Once politicians get into regional office, they take steps to make Primary elections less competitive, less covered in the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this media, and less topical to local people’s concerns. Politicians also move to make gerrymandering statistically more favorable for their re-election. They fundraise from Industry lobbyists who pay both candidates. Lobbyists want access to the winner once the election’s over. Politicians hire industry insiders as campaign staff and blackball talent that ever worked on primary rival’s campaigns. All of these efforts to downplay election primary competition ensures that Incumbents disproportionately win re-election. The more expensive the average race for an office seat, the more likely the incumbent will stay in power. An incumbent like McConnell or Clyburne will then decline to seek higher office. They’ll stay in their seat but make sure to remain huge fundraisers for their national party. They use this fundraising talent to make sure mentees, staff, and family get placed in higher offices. They also get associates placed in Media, Industry, and Regulation offices. With their famous fundraising talent, they can often call in favors from these Higher office holders. With their seniority and unshakeable position, they also act as whips within the party. They lobby for party members votes on certain issues. If necessary, they organize primary challengers or fundraising to ensure interparty rivals are ousted.
All of this maneuvering means that certain elders accumulate enough of a coalition to get de facto power. People become deferential to their endorsements or votes. Some use this clout to get elected President. Others use the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this clout to scare off younger challengers to their preferred candidate. Lastly, the media has a huge influence on outcomes. Advertising at scale is expensive. The elders have the election war chests to spend money. And the longer they are in office, the more recognizable their brand is. Often, elders most controversial political moments are decades old. Meanwhile, newcomers haven’t been vetted thoroughly and new scandals are uncovered as they campaign against an elder incumbent.
Speaking of that, one of them is so old that he forgot that the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this election is rigged, and is running in the election again! And one was so old that she had to be told, “Just say ‘aye’” during votes, completely unaware of what the vote was. After she was away on medical leave during a time when the party actually had an edge, she pretended she was working the whole time. Then she suddenly died. She was 90 years old. Posts like these help to foment apathy. “Both sides are bad!” May be true in part, but not in whole. It’s like how $100 and $10,000 are both money but I’d prefer one over the other. PSA: don’t let the argument that ‘both sides are old’ stop you from getting to the polls to vote on what you believe in.
oh i’ll always vote. it has to be done. we all have to advocate for ourselves and what is important to us. it would be nice if we had a better pool of candidates to choose from though. Just because the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this Russian system is more rigged doesn’t mean that the American system isn’t. There’s levels to this. Because old people vote and young people get on Reddit and complain about the old people in politics instead of voting. Don’t believe me? Google it. Right and many of the people complaining arnt even voting age. And are also a VERY loud minority. The average American just wants to see their country and them selves do good. And if that means to them to vote for tried and true than that’s what they do. They are a silent majority. The meme of the dude grilling is really true most people arnt as radical and outspoken as the news and internet wants you to think
Money. They have amassed enough over the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this years to run a major campaign. And they have enough money to stay alive. They’re old, alive, and rich. Sure we can, but that would honestly mean getting off your ass and running. I have noticed the people who bitch and moan about old people the hardest are the least likely to involve themselves in politics either as candidates or voters I’ve voted in every election I’ve been eligible to participate in, for all the good it’s ever done me, and I’d have to be completely delusional to believe anybody would vote for me. If your country has an ageing population you’re always going to be at a disadvantage and you can’t vote your way out of being a minority demographic If you believe no one would vote for you must believe no one believes in the same things you do. You are right you won’t vote your way out of helplessness if that is all you do. Until you stand for office though don’t claim you have done all you can do.
BTW if you think your views are less popular than Deez Nuts who polled at 9% there are probably something wrong with your views So go out and make yourself popular. You go around emoting how bad things are, but ultimately your just too fucking lazy to go out do anything about it Who the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this fuck said anything about president? People act like it is the only office there is. Your local and state governments have a far more direct impact on your lives, yet you people are constantly letting far right Karen’s run for these positions often unopposed. Please point out where it says president. Oh, it doesn’t. You have proven that not only do you simply wish to whine, you are also too stupid to read and have no idea what political power is.
Looks what the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this people running have to go through. Illegal spying, name drag through the mud, every part of your life analyzed under a microscope. That’s why our best and brightest don’t run for President. Right and when they were voted into the people who voted for them are still alive today! And when they die guess what the younger people will vote younger people in and they will keep being voted in until they and their voters get old and die! They hold on to power for as long as they can which in some instances they do die and someone else takes their place. But they will not relinquesh that power. Because they won’t be around long enough to be accountable for what they have done … Or they get assassinated like the Kennedys . You think Joe will be around in 30 years time for war trials ???
Because that stupid shit Trump won’t get the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this fuck out if the way. If he dropped out, Biden probably would as well. Both parties need a major change in leadership the only good thing that will come from 2024 is at least both parties will probably change leadership regardless of who wins. If Biden wins the republicans will say “we tried… okay trump your too old and clearly the people don’t want you time to go bye bye” and if trump wins the democrats will go “okay Biden your way too old and clearly the people don’t want you time to go bye bye” Because the fuckin Democrats keep pushing these manufactured 40 year olds with no solution to our problems. When’s the economy gonna turn around? Why aren’t we getting any snow this year? Why can’t I buy a house? Democrat answer is “hey man don’t worry about it”. Republican answer is “just work harder / it isn’t real”.
Over the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this last 30 years I’ve actively watched the Republicans blockade pretty much every single thing that Democrats propose. Only time Republicans allowed Democrats to really pass anything of worth is when they thought of it first. Like NAFTA. NAFTA was originally a Republican proposal. During the Bush Sr. administration. But then he lost the election, Clinton came in and passed NAFTA. Don’t ask why Republicans became anti-nafta after it was passed. I have no clue. Probably because Clinton passed it and they could use it as ammunition. And their supporters are too stupid to remember Republicans thought of it first Well when the stuff Reps want to pass reverses policy created 30, 40, 50, 60+ years ago…. I don’t blame Dems for wanting to block it.
I’m at the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this point now that if Republicans want to live in the 1920s they should all just move to Texas and be that way. We can even take away their internet. Make them fully feel like they are back in the good old days. They must stay in power (via a plethora of maneuver others have mentioned herein) until they die or the new blood will certainly hold them accountable for the crimes they’ve committed against the very populations they pretend to represent. Just like McDonald’s is the best hamburger as shown by most sold and number of locations. These politicians are best too because of age and experience To answer your question, you can understand a lot of what goes on in any country by looking at a graph of median age. In 1970 the US median age was 28. Today it’s 39 — two years older than in 2010.
Because the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this flawed democracy that elected them based mostly on a weird popularity contest where a majority of people are voting not because they think this person is best for their country but just because they like this person more than the other one Not to mention the average American is so unundicated about how the government works that many of them don’t even realize the power they are giving these people until they have it And this is coming from me a fellow American who is constantly surprised by the fact that most of my fellow Americans did not also take a American government class back in high school that should have explained to them how most of this works Because younger people would have to live w the outcomes of their decisions. What’s happening right now ultimately requires people who don’t give a shit
Baby boomers vote for baby boomers and they vote much more consistently than the Amity Island welcome you enjoy the sand surf and fun palm tree shirt besides I will buy this younger generations. Also gerrymandering. Ect. Also, Congress getting older is a reflection of America getting older. See: The difference in age between the median American and median congressperson has stayed remarkably stable for decades. If you’re waiting for congress to become substantially younger, it’s probably not going to happen. People are living longer and the incumbent advantage is strong. This has always happened (look at Strom Thurmond) but is just more frequent today. Maybe this will motivate those under 40 to step up their participation in elections. People just keep staying home and not voting (1/3 of eligible voters in 2020 didn’t vote) and that’s how we got here. Because it’s a giant pyramid scheme and everyone has to bribe and suck up to the guy above them who tends to be just a little older and a little richer The current President of the United States was Vice President for a younger than average President specifically looking for a more experienced running mate to balance his ticket. So it kind of makes sense that he’d be on the older side. And I will note, that plenty of younger than 70 candidates ran in 2020, but 90% of the primary vote went to oldsters. The Senate Majority Leader is 73, the Senate Minority Leader is 82. That’s old, but the Senate skews older as the terms are 6 years.
