Its basically sunglasses for your lens…you have four ways to let in less light…ISO, Aperture and shutter speed…and an ND filter. Without going into huge detail changing the Air Mcduck Christmas Donald Duck shirt Apart from…,I will love this first three has different effects (shutter speed stops motion, ISO makes the result less or more grainy, Aperture changes how much of the depth of the picture is in focus) Long story short if you want a picture like this https://imgcap.capturetheatlas.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Long-exposure-photograph-.jpg you need a tripod and an ND filter…it’s simply not possible to create this (other than photoshop) with the options you have on the camera. My wife and I lived in Holland. I ordered my wife a Drambuie, a Scottish drink. Several people at the bar who overheard my order started correcting me, saying it’s pronounced “Dramboui” (French). I told them to look at the label. Idiotic people! Not really. Not having ND filter is perfectly fine, since you decide on ISO settings. You use ND filters for effects and flash synchronization.

Even if it was a lens cap, the Air Mcduck Christmas Donald Duck shirt Apart from…,I will love this dude just watched until you were done and then said something? I would’ve mentioned it as soon as I saw it to save what you can smh What an incredibly rude mindset for them to have. How condescending and hateful. They thought you were wasting your time, but instead of letting you know they thought your lens cap was on, they watched and judged and then mocked you for it. Obviously you did get your shots, but they just sound like assholes. Hopefully you let them know that they were both wrong and rude for not bringing that to your attention sooner if they truly thought your lens cap was on. The mindset of a lot of boomers is so ridiculous to me. How is this infuriating, the lady was just trying to be nice but she didn’t know. And for those who say well she didn’t need to say anything, if it was a lens cap I’m sure she would have very much appreciated it This comment section is crazy. This is an extremely plausible story, so idk why some people are so sure it didn’t happen. And it’s definitely infuriating when some overconfident boomer comes up laughing at you, calling you “darling”, and telling you that theyve been watching for a while and not saying anything when they thought you had your lens cap on. It’s a pretty safe bet that OP is a woman because of “darling” which is a bit condescending and sorta sexist. Then they hammer it home with the sarcastic “fancy shots”. It’s like if they came up to a female doctor and said “oh good job with your cute little diagnosis but let the real doctors take it from here”. I could probably write more about this and why the words they used and their actions are mildly infuriating but I’ve already wasted enough time on something nobody will read.
