The difference is a lot of them suck or bomb and lose the studio a ton of money. It’s funny they just get back on there feet and they pull this stunt. They have not offered anything to benefit the customer. The theaters around me don’t offer any discounts. There’s a story about coke once introducing a variable pricing vending machine that would change the price based on the weather. I.e a can of coke would be more expensive when it’s really hot outside and you’re thirsty. Apparently people lost their shit over this and a bunch of vending machines got destroyed before they pulled the plug on that idea.
