No, I didn’t downvote you at all, I was just curious, mostly because I find sometimes I struggle to understand when I read vs when I watch a film/show about something (I can’t always paint a picture in my head from words on a page. When I say I don’t read I mean I don’t read books. I read three or four past year and before I didn’t read many books at all. I don’t know how to get out of the short attention span mindspace I’m in because I would love to be able to concentrate on a book again. My SO doesn’t like to read but loves listening to books as he’s driving around. He’s gone through entire series that way. I can’t keep my attention on listening so reading is better for me. But maybe listening would work for you. I can totally understand, I get distracted all the time (the joys of having 4 small kids I suppose ) but it means that me taking in the information isn’t actually happening so I struggle when reading these days even though I love it.

I would 100% recommend checking out audio books. You can get a lot of them through your library, too! There is an app called Libby that gets you access to online catalogues.
